Here in the coastal Tampa Bay area we are expecting five to eight inches of rain and possibly some flooding from the Gulf for those at low elevations. That's nothing. In late June 2012 Tropical Storm Debby--why did this storm get the same name so soon after?--dropped fourteen inches of rain in my hometown. In my low slung Honda S2000 sports car, I must stay away from all but the most elevated roads. Parts of my town will be unpassable. But it's hurricane season. We have to stay alert.

All of y'all commenting on the media going bonkers about every drop of rain, wisp of wind, wildfire, or anything weather related, you might as well brace yourselves. They've gotten their marching orders from their masters in the so-called Democrat Party (along with some Rinos, I'm sure) to scare as many people as possible. Extreme Left Wing media outlets (which would be most of them) are being funded massively to do just that. Just as they'll cover for the Cackler, they'll do their best to convince people there is a problem called human induced global warming which is a fairy tale if ever there was one!

When Vice President Kamala Harris became the frontrunner for the Democratic presidential nomination following President Joe Biden’s dramatic exit from the race on Sunday, the next question was: Who will she select as her running mate? A Harris campaign official told USA TODAY on Thursday that the Vice President is searching for a running mate who has “shared values of fighting for the middle class, protecting democracy and freedoms, treating people with respect and dignity, and creating an America where everyone gets a fair shot,” as she prepares to square off against the Republican nominee, former President Donald Trump and

This is not exactly a startling revelation. In 2021, as Harris’s staff was heading for the exit one after the other, Politico wrote a piece describing the vice president’s office as a hotbed of dysfunction.

The liberal media wants to make Donald Trump’s comments about Kamala Harris’ race a significant point as we enter the final months of the 2024 election.
