Democrats plan to push ahead with virtual

WASHINGTON — The Democratic Party plans to push forward with a virtual roll call in which delegates to its convention can choose a presidential nominee before they meet in person next month in Chicago, with Vice President Kamala Harris heavily favored now that President Joe Biden has abandoned his reelection bid. (Snip) The proposal does not list a date for when the virtual roll call begins, but Democratic National Committee Chair Jaime Harrison said the process will be completed by Aug. 7. “We can and will be both fast and fair as we execute this nomination,” Harrison on a conference

Comments:

Why do Dems bother with either the primaries or convention? Their candidate is anointed by party bosses then crowned as 'Queen' without any outside input.

SNL could never come up with a parody that could rival the hilarity that this DNC Convention will produce. We had Hulk Hogan and Dana White. They will counter with Dylan Mulvaney and Admiral Rachel Levine.

Sounds like a pretty good way to attempt to steal their nomination, which would be a warmup for stealing the election. Mitigate risk of people noticing irregularities and inconsistencies by having it all virtual, with no real chance for an audit trail to be established for detection of fraud.

Let's talk about ignoring the will of14,000,000 primary voters and the deception the Democrats played out on the American public. Let's talk about back room deals and the least transparent, most secretive, manipulative Democrat led government ever. Now a secretive group of Democrat operatives wants to select who Democrats will get to call their nominee in November as if the primaries never occurred.

They know Chicago can turn into a nightmare of violence. They are trying to defuse the situation by having everything sewn up by the time the convention rolls around. The convention then becomes a big nothing burger of useless speeches. Kind of like the Oscars.

An exclusive new Free Press poll of likely Michigan voters shows former President Donald Trump has taken a notable 7-percentage-point lead over incumbent President Joe Biden in the state, a result certain to further worry Democrats already pushing for Biden to abandon his reelection bid. "It's only going to add to the pressure on Biden to step aside and have someone replace him," said Bernie Porn, the pollster for EPIC-MRA in Lansing, which conducted the survey of 600 voters for the Free Press and its media partners. "The Democrats are in a difficult position." The poll showed Trump, who held

President Joe Biden feels personally hurt and betrayed by the way so many Democrats, including some of the party’s top leaders, have left him hung out to dry as he faces the biggest crisis of his political career, according to two sources familiar with his thinking. And privately, many of those leaders have expressed doubts about his path forward. Former President Barack Obama’s only public comment came the day after Biden’s disastrous debate last month, when he tweeted “Bad debate nights happen“ and talked about his former vice president’s virtues. Privately, however, Obama has concerns. Bill and Hillary Clinton have

Kamala Harris will likely be the next president of the United States – and that’s overall good news if you care about democracy, justice and equality. Joe Biden’s decision on Sunday to bow out of the presidential race clears the path for the country to elect its first woman and first woman of color as president. Even though the electoral fundamentals for this year’s election have always favored the Democrats – despite what numerous misleading polls have been showing (and with most of the news media reacting purely off those polls) – Harris’s selection will largely shore up the weaknesses that were dragging down Biden’s poll numbers.
