How Democrats’ chaos upend Trump’s
veepstakes: Put Glenn Youngkin in the

Donald Trump’s choice for veep is reportedly down to Gov. Doug Burgum and Sen. J.D. Vance, with Burgum having a slight edge. But the race is changing fast, and the former prez certainly isn’t afraid to shift course to up his odds in response: The larger his landslide, the stronger his mandate and the longer his coattails. So, while North Dakota’s Burgum would be fine (while Vance looks risky in any circumstances), it’s not too late to consider someone like Virginia’s Gov. Glenn Youngkin, who could clinch the case for Trump in a state that’s newly in-play — not to mention among swing voters across the nation.

I'm afraid Vance shot himself in the foot by supporting the abortion pill. Youngkin would be a good choice. I don't get what Burgum brings to the ticket. Bad name, ND is already a lock, another white guy. At least Youngkin might deliver VA.

I hope that President Trump does NOT choose Douglas Burgum as his running mate. With that all-too-groovy hairstyle of his, the 67-year-old Mr. Burgum looks like one of those smarmy games show hosts (think Chuck Woolery, Alex Trebek and Bob Eubanks) who are featured on old repeats on the BUZZR channel.

I live in Virginia - since 1996. Youngkin was not my first choice but he got lucky in his debate with McAuliffe when McAwful said the students are our (I paraphrase) and off ran Youngkin with his parental rights initiative. But ask the man about transgenderism - is it simply a matter of parental rights, i.e., if the parents agree with their child to change to the other sex than that's okay or what? Does he support transgenderism or not? I don't know. He is the nicest version of the corporate businessman wearing his red vest - sorry but Trump can do better. And as for his Lt Governor, Winsome Sears, she dropped Trump back in 2022 - does she now support Trump? And Youngkin's Attorney General, Jason Miyares, not exactly buring up the courts with briefs in support of other AGs taking on the Biden Administration.

I think Younkin would be a fine VP. I've said it before and will say it again, we need someone who can go on and win in 2028. I don't like the idea of picking a Black man, or woman, or someone who is just popular. They have to be able to win so that Trump's turnaround of the country can continue on and on. It won't happen in just One Term and then we lose to the Democrats again! I think Younkin could win in 2028, especially if he brings his current VP with him.

I'm not sure who it will be but I think someone like Marco Rubio who is young and Hispanic would be appealing and a Kari Lake type woman who is dynamic, articulate and unafraid (though I don't think it should be her, she needs to win the AZ Senate seat). "Each one hopes that if he feeds the crocodile enough, the crocodile will eat him last," is how Winston Churchill, just months away from becoming Britain's wartime Prime Minister, described the appeasement that led to World War II. "All of them hope that the storm will pass before their turn comes to be devoured. "The same could be said of France's snap election, in which everyone from French Stalinists to the country's business interests banded together to defeat the country's "far right" at the polls. But the far right is not the threat, and the crocodile snapping at everyone's heels is the accelerating Islamification of France.

Black men will deliver Donald Trump to the White House in November. In any other year, this statement would have been written off as wishful thinking at best and wholly delusional at worst. But from where I stand today - as a 21 year old young black man reared in the Deep South of Georgia - I see it as all but inevitable. Go to any black church or patronize any black barbershop and the feeling is palpable. Black men are tired of being used and abused by a political party that doesn’t give a damn about them.

The latest official employment report finds once again that the federal government and state-local hiring spree is still in full gear. Over the past year, health care and government hiring has outpaced every private sector industry. It isn't just the IRS bringing on thousands of new workers. The bloat is everywhere. So even though there are a lot more government workers, good luck finding them or getting them on the phone. This is because so few of them are actually physically on the job. What's happening in the federal government ("Club Fed") these days borders on the absurd -- or should I say the obscence,

It has been nearly nine months since Hamas began its war against Israel. During this time, our prime minister has given almost no interviews to journalists from his country, limiting himself to the occasional exchange with a reporter from abroad or a local admirer. Problems with forcibly removing Biden 14 replies

It looks like Joe Biden is refusing to step down from the Democrat presidential ticket. Putting aside the legal issues and deadlines resulting from late ballot changes and the undesirability of Kamala Harris taking over, there are problems with removing Biden by force. Let’s take a look at them: 1. Removing Biden at the convention: The delegates are already pledged to Biden. This would require 300 delegate signatures and would be very messy at best, with Michelle Obama (assuming she is their savior) having to compete with other potential candidates. An alternative plan,
