Bernstein on Biden: Everyone Knew -- Including Reporters

Original Article

Of course everyone knew. Joe Biden has exhibited cognitive dysfunction in public throughout his presidency, perhaps most especially over the last year. Americans could see that for themselves simply by watching Biden, and perhaps more tellingly, how those around Biden treated him while in public -- like a lost child. But that's especially true of the corrupt media that chose to cover for Biden rather than report on him. That includes Carl Bernstein, the journalistic eminence grise of Watergate, who appeared on CNN last night to discuss the scope and breadth of the cover-up. Bernstein talks about the willful gaslighting of the team around Biden and the media's amplification of gaslighting

Morrissey concludes: Bernstein knew. CNN knew. The New York Times knew. They all knew. Now they want to talk about their "sources," but only after the debate Thursday night exposed their political agenda, their gaslighting, and their corruption. Now they want to gaslight us again by pouncing on Biden's latest and undeniable failure under pressure, in an event he demanded as a test of fitness for the presidency, as a way to cover up four-plus years of political narratives masquerading as journalism. Of course, they knew. We also knew because we have ears and eyes. Most of us have completely tuned out the Legacy Media, did it long ago, because we're sick of being lied to and gaslit by functionaries for the Democrat Party calling themselves journalists. Their credibility is zero; our trust in them is zero. May they all go out of business and be forced to learn to code or be the towel people at the carwash, hoping for a dollar tip. May thery twist slowly, slowly in the wind.

See?!? You already knew Biden has sludge for brains. You supported him before; you can still support him! The media not only tells you what to believe. It tells you what you actually think. Don't think for yourself. Let the media do it for you! You can trust them. Was talking with a diehard Biden supporter yesterday. They still support Biden. Why? because Trump is a convicted felon, and they could never support him. There is nothing worse than a convicted felon. They believe every lie. Can't tell them otherwise.

FTA: I have heard for two years how sharp Joe Biden is in his National Security meetings. He has special briefing books on Ukraine, on the situation in Gaza that go down into very detailed military reports. He has an absolute command of the facts. He's sharp as can be. You see the evidence of his being the chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee in the Senate, of his work as vice president on foreign relations. Sharp? He's NEVER been "sharp" and I'm sick of people pretending he ever was. Now, THAT is some gaslighted.

My father was a history professor and university department chair. Well into a happy and productive retirement, the first noticeable signs of dementia appeared. Some family members were in denial for several years, partly because Dad had mostly good days in the beginning, which dwindled in occurrence and length as time went on. After several episodes of confidently driving his car for a local errand and then getting lost, it was clear intervention was required. By the end, he did not know my name. Alzheimer's is a progressive and terminal disease. Families who have experienced it with a member have to be watchful for signs of progression and seek medical attention. Seeing a loved one slowly destroyed by its ravages is painful. The Biden family does its patriarch no service by pretending further. Like Nancy Reagan, they have to courageously and lovingly support him as he "rides into the sunset." In the future, they can help him by engaging in conversations about the past, including his early years in office or family foreign travel. As the sand slips through the hourglass, the things he will enjoy discussing will be the happy recollections and photos of and places and events of long ago. There is no set period for the length of progression. President Biden needs to consult his physician and take the cognitive exams provided. He may resist the diagnosis. He has immense pride. Though outwardly modest, for good reason so did my dad, the strong and brilliant hero of my youth. Some victims live for only a few years. My father lived approximately six years from the time of onset, but the last two were not easy to watch. Godspeed, Joe Biden. Go not with the nation's anger, but with its blessing.

The results of a new poll by the New York Times and Siena College were published Wednesday afternoon. It's good news for former President Trump. Not so much for President Biden. Concerns over Biden's ability to govern rose to new heights. Mr. Trump now leads Mr. Biden 49 percent to 43 percent among likely voters nationally, a three-point swing toward the Republican from just a week earlier, before the debate. It is the largest lead Mr. Trump has recorded in a Times/Siena poll since 2015. Mr. Trump leads by even more among registered voters, 49 percent to 41 percent. Doubts about Mr. Biden’s age and acuity are widespread and growing.

Watching old Joe last week (and since) has been like watching a long row of dumpster fires being hit by a series of runaway train wrecks. On Wednesday, Team Trump released a statement (written by campaign staffers Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles) regarding Biden's (lack of) cognitive ability and the Democratic Party's malfeasance in keeping it as under wraps as they could. I wasn’t surprised to see how badly President Joe Biden performed last week in his first debate showdown with former President Donald Trump. The warning signs have been apparent for a long time, despite outright lies and denial from the White House and Biden advisers who’ve had the audacity to tell us that the president, 81, is A-OK. But a lot of Americans probably haven’t paid as close of attention, and many of them were honestly surprised by the president’s physical and mental state. I hope they’re paying attention now. And the latest polls make it seem like they are. I'll get to that in a bit.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) is continuing her quest to raise taxes. She is now trying to convince the moderate Democrats and those who are against tax hikes to pass the progressives' tax hikes. For years, we have heard Democrat politicians criticize corporations that employ millions of people for not paying higher taxes. That may sound like a great idea — if it were realistic. Corporations will never pay their "fair share" in taxes. If Congress ultimately decides to raise the corporate tax, that will be a tax on the consumers because those corporations will raise prices to cover their costs and offset what they would be paying in taxes.
