Missouri AG sues New York over 'reprehensible
lawfare' against Trump: 'Poisonous to
American democracy'

EXCLUSIVE – Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey filed a lawsuit against the state of New York, alleging it violated Missourians’ First Amendment right to hear from former President Trump during the 2024 presidential election. Bailey’s lawsuit alleges New York’s "illicit prosecution, gag order, and sentencing" of Trump has undermined his ability to campaign for president, sabotaging Missourians’ ability to hear from him and cast a fully informed vote for a presidential candidate mere months before the election. His lawsuit petitions the Supreme Court to declare that New York’s restrictions on President Trump’s ability to campaign unlawfully interfere with the presidential election, to remove any gag orders

Because of the Supreme Court ruling there's a mistrial buried in there somewhere. Delaying the case until September keeps the gag order in place. See the politics there?

If it gets to the Supreme Court they will claim Missouri has no "standing", meaning, I think, that Americans are just supposed lay down and take it.

Hmm. While I applaud the intent of the Missouri AG, and I am not a lawyer, I'm going to guess that the AG will be found to not have "standing" in this case.

He’s already claiming he has standing because New York is preventing Missourians from hearing President Trump. Not just Missouri, every state.

I really wish that people in official capacity were educated enough to recognize that we have a Constitutional Representative Republic, and never had ANY KIND of 'a democracy'. Democracy is a lynch mob. Democracy is chaos. Democracy runs roughshod over all minorities, such as the old "Two wolves and a sheep voting on what's for dinner" kind of problems for minorities. In a Constitutional Republic, the sheep has rights and police to protect him, and may be a CCW permit to protect him from the "democratic" wolves.

This is exactly reason why the very idea of single American supreme court was brought forward. This was the argument Alito and Thomas were making to CJ Roberts in the 2020 case brought by 21 Attorney Generals. The three Trump appointed judges were new. Got intimidated and sat on their thumbs. Let us see what they do this time.

Labour Party’s Keir Starmer Becomes

Keir Starmer, a 61-year-old former human rights lawyer, became the prime minister of Britain on Friday after the Labour Party won the general election, ousting Conservative prime minister Rishi Sunak. The Labour Party won a dominant position in British politics, securing its majority by adding 210 seats. It now commands 410 seats in the 650-seat parliament. The Conservatives, by comparison, lost 250 lawmakers. “Across our country, people will be waking up to the news that a weight has been lifted, a burden finally removed from the shoulders of this nation,” Starmer said on Friday, adding that the country now has an opportunity to “get its future back”

As we reported, Team Biden thought a good way to calm the public after the president’s faceplant of a debate last Thursday would be to sit for an interview with former Clinton official and Democrat sycophant George Stephanopoulos over on ABC. The original plan was to show excerpts of the interview on Friday and then release the full pre-taped (because the president can’t even do it live) remarks on Sunday—but that plan has now been scrapped. ABC has now announced that the entire interview will air Friday at 8 p.m. Eastern, with a preview played beforehand on “World News Tonight with David Muir” at 6:30 p.m.

President Joe Biden walked before a row of flags and took his place at a lectern stamped with the presidential seal. A few feet in front of him, thin panes of teleprompter glass, programmed with prewritten remarks, were positioned to meet his stare as he spoke into a microphone that would carry his voice through a soundsystem. His White House press secretary looked on. So did several senior White House officials. Anxiety clung to the humid summer air. What the president was about to say might determine the future of his presidency and perhaps the Republic itself. Yet this was not to be some grand pronouncement about war or peace

Former President Donald Trump unleashed in a savage Fourth of July post, wishing a happy Independence Day to all, including some he described as “our highly incapable ‘President’ and Vice President Kamala Harris, even mentioning the “Great Willie Brown of San Francisco.” Trump began, after previously sharing inspirational Independence Day videos on his Truth Social page: Happy Fourth of July to all, including to our highly incapable ‘President,’ who uses Prosecutors to go after his Political Opponent, who choked like a dog during the Debate but tried to pretend it was ‘International Travel (only 12 days rest!) and, when that gig was up, he blamed it on a ‘cold.’

It's July 4th, and instead of celebrating our country, protestors in New York City's Washington Square Park are burning our flag. The Pro-Hamas protesters think that the best way to "free Palestine" is to spit upon the country that made "free" even a thing. The video shows a sign that also says "Death to all kings" and has a picture of both Biden and Trump. I wonder how they think the leaders are chosen for Hamas? Are they elected? (Yes, they originally won elections in 2006 -- but have refused to hold any votes since then. Not exactly a place that enjoys what we would refer to as "freedom.")

While the rest of America geared up to celebrate the Fourth of July, the Biden campaign was hard at work stepping on multiple rakes, and getting mocked into oblivion for them. On Wednesday afternoon, the official "Biden-Harris HQ" account, which I'm now convinced is run by White House pool boy Andrew Bates, went after Donald Trump over something called "Project 2025." What exactly is that? It's a transition proposal created by the Heritage Foundation and other conservative groups that includes reclassifying thousands of partisan federal employees so they can be replaced by the incoming executive.

Since that time, generations of Americans have dedicated their lives to preserving our freedoms and working toward a more perfect union – from our men and women in uniform, to the organizers

WASHINGTON — President Joe Biden's conduct behind closed doors, in the Oval Office, on Air Force One and in meetings around the world is described in the same dual way by those who regularly see him in action. He is often sharp and focused. But he also has moments, particularly later in the evening, when his thoughts seem jumbled and he trails off mid-sentence or seems confused. Sometimes he doesn't grasp the finer points of policy details. He occasionally forgets people's names, stares blankly and moves slowly around the room. Biden’s occasional struggles with focus may not be unusual for

Democrats have a ready-made replacement if Joe Biden stands aside before November's election. She's been vetted. Her election would be historic. And she would easily take up the Biden mantle. There's one problem: Her name is Kamala Harris and by every measure she is the most unpopular vice president in American history – and among the least likely people to defeat Donald Trump in a general election fight. But Democrats may be stuck with her anyway. Former Democratic National Committee chairwoman Donna Brazile explained the party's challenge most succinctly.

In the pre-debate poll, Mr. Trump had led among likely male voters by 12 percentage points. After the debate, his lead among men ballooned to 23 points. That movement was particularly concentrated among younger men and men without college degrees. Mr. Biden’s five-point edge among likely women voters before the debate actually ticked up slightly, to eight points.
