It’s just one poll, but anyway, the findings are interesting. The Siena / NY Times poll showed Trump’s lead increasing overall. (snip) One of the more interesting findings in the poll was that men accounted for virtually all of Mr. Trump’s post-debate gains…. In the pre-debate poll, Mr. Trump had led among likely male voters by 12 percentage points. After the debate, his lead among men ballooned to 23 points. That movement was particularly concentrated among younger men and men without college degrees. Mr. Biden’s five-point edge among likely women voters before the debate actually ticked up slightly, to eight points.

Yeah, whatever. You really should give it up. We see the hundreds of thousands attending anywhere Trump shows up. We see the handful wherever Biden shows up. We saw a man without a clue as to where he was during the debate and we saw another man with sharp, quick and intelligent answers. You can write about your fake numbers all you want. We aren't buying them anymore.

It's only fair for women to have the vote; but, as a group, they haven't shown themselves worthy of it. Women gave us Bill Clinton and Barack Obama.

That was pretty much the story with old George III, wasn't it? An incompetent supported by corrupt members of Parliament, seeking to bulldoze the Americans into being their cash cow. Wow! We ARE ready for another Revolution!! Except we won't merely separate from our abusers. We'll take the fight to their doorsteps.

Oh, please. Dems are holding onto this poll as if it’s a lifeline. It’s not. Unless I missed it, I see no breakdown of democrats vs Republicans, so it’s safe to assume (from past polling) that it over samples dems. White liberal women are the screwiest class of voters out there, and they are the drivers of the “We’ve got to do something!” crowd. They are delusional by nature, and actively resist reality at every turn. And, in addition to all that, it’s the NYT.

#13 I totally agree with you. As a woman, I never vote for one. I don't want a menopausal harpy making decisions solely on emotions that affect millions of people unless you give me a Margaret Thatcher or Golda Meir. And yes, sometimes I wonder if it was a good idea to give women the right to vote. Look at the women in congress. Maybe one or two are worth keeping. The rest need to go.

Justice Department officials will continue to pursue the federal criminal cases against Donald Trump past Election Day, even if he wins, The Washington Post reported Tuesday. The plan is due to a view that DOJ rules against charging or prosecuting a sitting president would not kick in until Inauguration Day in January, people familiar with the discussions told The Post. (snip) Officials who were not part of the special counsel’s deliberations told CNN they believed the long-standing DOJ policy against criminally charging a sitting president does not extend to a president-elect.

Sandy Senn, Penry Gustafson and Katrina Shealy from office during sparsely turned out primaries in June, and by doing so completely vacated the Republican wing of the five-member “Sister Senators,” a female contingent that included two Democrats and was joined in their opposition to the abortion ban. Shootings and other violence during the extended Fourth of July weekend have left at least 33 people dead, including 11 in Chicago, and injured dozens more nationwide, authorities said. And a year before that, seven people died in a mass shooting at a Fourth of July parade near Chicago. Violence and mass shootings often increase in the summer months, with more people gathering for social events, teens out of school and hotter temperatures.
