As expected. Just as Diaper Joe ignores the Supreme Joke, so too does Diaper Joe's Dept of Just-Us. Of course the the Dept of Just-Us ignores the Court's ruling that presidents can't be charged with crimes for official acts even after they leave office. Gotta admire how Democrats wipe their behinds with the Constitution and just do whatever the Hades they want to do. Of course, there is no consequences for the Dept of Just-Us so what's to stop them?

Two things: 1. This action should incent the House Republicans to arrest and jail Garland over his contempt of Congress charge. Give him a taste of his own medicine. 2. Once Trump is sworn in, Garland will be fired. The new AG can then fire any idiot in the DOJ who doesn't follow orders or is too stupid to realize that Garland is gone.

They are talking about the period between Nov 5 and Jan 20.The part that the SCOTUS has kicked back to the Federal court in DC could theoretically continue .If Trump wins massively then the purpose of such action will be useless and the optics disastrous. This is another form of gaslighting.

This is very easily resolved. President Trump announces his selection for Attorney General the same day he announces his VP. The AG selection takes the podium and announces that at 12:01 PM January 20, 2025 that Merrick Garland will be arrested for Contempt of Congress and thrown in Guantanamo Bay. Problem solved.

On day one, Trump should pardon every single J6er (excepting the ANTIFA plants), all the abortion protest people who were just praying, all the people caught up in the various Jack Smith witch hunts (including himself), just to get that undone. Then fire all those who prosecuted them. Or, if not possible, re-assign them to Ice Station Zebra in Greenland. Same with all the DEI people. Shut down the DOEducation. Reaffirm the student loans that were "forgiven". Re-establish border protections and allow states to enforce border laws and arrest illegals. Stop all the lawsuits against such state laws with consent decrees saying they are enforceable. All on the day he takes office. Have it all pre-written.

Some of those DOJ lawyers get on one case and it lasts up to 7 years. A few of those and you're eligible for retirement. The "Trump Trials" are designed to bankrupt him and prevent him from being a political influence going for another generation. Still waiting for the DOJ go go after the cash cow Clinton Foundation and Hillary specifically over her serial destruction of evidence, but I'm not holding my breath.

It’s just one poll, but anyway, the findings are interesting. The Siena / NY Times poll showed Trump’s lead increasing overall. (snip) One of the more interesting findings in the poll was that men accounted for virtually all of Mr. Trump’s post-debate gains…. In the pre-debate poll, Mr. Trump had led among likely male voters by 12 percentage points. After the debate, his lead among men ballooned to 23 points. That movement was particularly concentrated among younger men and men without college degrees. Mr. Biden’s five-point edge among likely women voters before the debate actually ticked up slightly, to eight points.

The only three Republican women in the South Carolina Senate took on their party and stopped a total abortion ban from passing in their state last year. In return, they lost their jobs. Voters removed Sens. Sandy Senn, Penry Gustafson and Katrina Shealy from office during sparsely turned out primaries in June, and by doing so completely vacated the Republican wing of the five-member “Sister Senators,” a female contingent that included two Democrats and was joined in their opposition to the abortion ban. In its effort to blast “woke” military policies, a Washington-based legal watchdog this week sued the Pentagon for documents detailing the hows and whys of the U.S. Military Academy’s decision to delete its famous motto “Duty, Honor, Country” from its mission statement. Judicial Watch told Secrets that the move came after West Point refused to turn over information about the change. As a result, the group filed a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit earlier this week. “Given the woke virus infecting West Point, deleting the words ‘Duty, Honor, Country’ from its mission statement has sparked justified concern about what the Army’s rising leadership is being taught at the United States Military Academy."

WASHINGTON — President Joe Biden's conduct behind closed doors, in the Oval Office, on Air Force One and in meetings around the world is described in the same dual way by those who regularly see him in action. Democrats have a ready-made replacement if Joe Biden stands aside before November's election. She's been vetted. Her election would be historic. And she would easily take up the Biden mantle.
