An increasingly desperate Emmanuel Macron has warned the public that “civil war” awaits France if they fail to vote for his brand of centrist neo-liberalism in the upcoming legislative elections. Voting for either of the “two extremes” of the populist right-wing National Rally or the leftist-socialist New Popular Front will lead to “civil war”, Macron said in an interview in which he castigated the leadership of the two main opposition parties “and those who follow them”. The embattled French leader, who’s party is trailing in third place in the snap elections he called, said that the “response of the extreme right” to France’s current problems would lead to insecurity

Former President Obama is reportedly getting nervous about the 2024 election and is becoming increasingly involved in Joe Biden’s campaign.
One has to wonder why Obama is so heavily invested in making sure Biden wins. Democrats in general seem absolutely terrified about the possibility of a Trump victory.
Are they worried that all of the horrible things they have done to Trump will be exposed to the public?

Diana Sofia De Los Santos was found unresponsive in the SUV outside her parents' home in Santee, San Diego, about 12.20am on June 13.
She had been left in the car for several hours in 63F weather when a family member found her and called 911. The baby girl was rushed to hospital but did not survive.

CNN defended its debate co-hosts from critics on Monday after they came under fire for being biased against former President Donald Trump.
The statement came after the Trump campaign ripped CNN for abruptly ending its interview with Trump campaign national press secretary Karoline Leavitt. CNN’s Kasie Hunt, a former MSNBC host, suddenly ended the interview when Leavitt highlighted CNN’s Jake Tapper’s long history of criticizing Trump. Tapper is co-hosting Thursday’s first presidential debate with Dana Bash. Both are critics of Trump. They suggested Trump is a liar, was tougher on Democrats than Putin, pushed Russia propaganda, used rhetoric similar to Adolf Hitler, pushed falsehoods “fast and furious,” “tried to kill democracy once.

U.S. health officials on Tuesday warned doctors to be alert for dengue cases as the tropical disease breaks international records. The virus, which is spread by mosquitoes, has been surging worldwide, helped by climate change. In barely six months, countries in the Americas have already broken calendar-year records for dengue cases. (Snip) Dengue remains less common in the continental United States, but in the 50 states so far this year there have been three times more cases than at the same point last year. Most were infections that travelers got abroad, but officials warn that local mosquitos are a growing

HOUSTON, Texas — Little Jocelyn Nungaray fought back against her attackers after she was lured under a Houston bridge and assaulted for two hours — leaving scratch and bite marks on one of the illegal migrants who is accused of killing her, prosecutors revealed Tuesday.
Johan Jose Rangel Martinez, 21, still had the marks Jocelyn left on him when he was arrested, Assistant District Attorney Megan Long said in a Harris County court.
Rangel Martinez’s alleged accomplice, Franklin Jose Pena Ramos, 26, told cops he tried to convince Rangel Martinez to stop but he allegedly refused and climbed on top of the girl and strangled her, according to Long.

They don’t call her ‘Lie-a-watha’ for nothing.
Senator Elizabeth Warren appeared on ABC News this weekend and tried to defend Biden over the border crisis saying that he is doing everything he can. She then tried to blame Republicans in congress for not giving Biden everything he wanted in the so-called border bill.
Even left wing journo Martha Raddatz wasn’t buying it, pointing out that Trump kept the border more secure with less resources.
Transcript via Real Clear Politics: RADDATZ: Let’s talk about President Biden. I know he wanted that — that immigration bill to pass, that bipartisan, but there have been more than 6.9 million apprehensions at the southern border thus far

There’s no one else quite like Donald Trump.
What other candidate in American history would start polling his audience, live, as Trump did this weekend in Philadelphia, on what his debate strategy against President Biden should be?
“How should I handle him? Should I be tough and nasty?” Trump said, then took on a comically tough-guy voice.
“Should I be tough and nasty and just say ‘you’re the worst president in history’?”
The crowd roared.
“Or should I be nice and calm . . .”
Boos rained down.
“. . . and let him speak?”
Let no one accuse The Post of taking Trump literally but not figuratively. We know it was a bit.

Last week, we published an editorial arguing that government data didn’t support various claims about climate change. And we predicted Google would demonetize it. We were right. (See: Heat Wave Sets Off New Round Of ‘Climate Crisis’ Lies.)
Shortly after that article was published, Google’s AdSense informed us that it had “disabled ad serving” on that page because the article contained “unreliable and harmful claims.” (We have one spot on our pages for AdSense ads, mostly to track Google’s efforts to demonetize content. See the list of related editorials below.)
So what was “unreliable” or “harmful” about that editorial? Google doesn’t say.

Jocelyn Nungaray's heartsick family heard how the young girl fought with her dying breath as migrants raped and strangled her before disposing of her body in a Houston bayou.
Jocelyn Nungaray's body was found floating in a creek near her Houston home after she was lured under a bridge and sexually assaulted for two hours by Johan Johan Jose Rangel Martinez, 21, and Franklin Jose Pena Ramos, 26, last week.
While prosecutors and police both believe the young girl was raped, the alleged assailants have not yet been charged with sexual assault and the results of the victim's rape kit are still pending.

Democratic Rep. Jamaal Bowman lost his primary bid in New York’s 16th Congressional District on Tuesday against Westchester County Executive George Latimer, according to The Associated Press.
Bowman, who has served in Congress since 2021, lost to Latimer, who has received support from The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), the AP projected. After many scandals and controversies, Bowman is the first member of the progressive “squad” to have been successfully toppled by a moderate challenger.
