WASHINGTON — WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange plans to plead guilty to a conspiracy charge this week as part of a plea deal with the U.S. Justice Department that will allow him to go free after spending five years in a British prison, according to court documents.
Assange was charged by criminal information — which typically signifies a plea deal — with conspiracy to obtain and disclose national defense information, the court documents say. A letter from Justice Department official Matthew McKenzie to U.S. District Judge Ramona Manglona of the U.S. District Court for the Northern Mariana Islands said that Assange would appear in court

Since the real treason was committed by "Chelsea" Manning I smell a rat here. Instead of a firing squad Manning gets a pardon from 0bama. So, why go after Assange? The reason may be found in the last paragraph.

I recall that, years ago when Daniel Ellsburg gave the 'pentagon papers' to the NYSlymes, who published them, he and the Slymes were treated as heroes in the Media.
Assange publishes material given him by Manning, and is treated as a felon.
Looks to me like 'Freedom of the Press' is apparently part of the one-sided 'Just-Us' system here in the USA.

Trump failed to pardon Assange for doing what a reporter does. After several years of solitary confinement (torture), it's reported that there's not much left of him mentally and physically. Does Assange dare reveal that Seth Rich was his source for the DNC emails, or will he forever keep his head down?

Fta: “ WikiLeaks also published hacked emails from the Democratic National Committee that upended the 2016 presidential race...”. Nope, Mr. Trump and the ‘irredeemable basket of deplorables’ decided that one because Hitlery Clinton is unlikable.
His information began to peel back just how corrupt the perversion of our system of laws were disregarded of the rights of protecting the rights of citizens from government intervention into our private lives and personal business by Big Brother!

Let's be careful not to accept the statement that "Wikileaks also published hacked e-mails..."
As poster # 4 mentions the e-mails did not surface due to Russian hacking (rate of transmission of the e-mails was determined to be much too fast to be computer hacking, rather demonstrated what is typical to downloading from a thumbdrive). Extremely likely to have been sourced to a thumbdrive from Seth Rich who was shortly murdered thereafter.
This "hacking" spin was used to implicate the Russians instead.
Assange firmly stated that he did not receive the info from the Russians.
These type false repetitions get into our minds if we are not watchful.
Our "IC" community is very skillful in disinformation.
I pray God will allow Julian Assange to be healed by Him and to be used to help restore our Republic.

Did Assange agree to burn someone? To testify against them before a grand jury? He gave them SOMETHING. Who did he agree to throw under the bus?

While I've never agreed with what Assange was doing, there was no doubt but that the charges against him were initiated because he dared to embarrass the great man-god obama. Now after all these years and all that has come out that the government has been/is doing to control the information flow in America, I can see how much a threat someone can be to a government trying to build itself on the 1984 model....and how far they'll go to silence him. Julian, watch your back. You embarrassed Hillary, too.

Neither Julius nor Ethel Rosenberg was available for comment. They've moved. As for the pronoun shifting Manning, he should keep moving.

It's a trap. Assange hasn't been freed. He has been released so that the Deep State hunters have plausible deniability when he is 'epsteined'.
