Oklahoma’s state supreme court ruled on Tuesday that the nation’s first publicly funded religious charter school, St. Isidore of Seville Catholic Virtual School, is unconstitutional.
Charter schools are required to be “nonsectarian in their programs, admission policies, and other operations,” the court wrote. Oklahoma’s Charter School Board approved St. Isidore’s application to become a virtual charter school in June last year, and the school was slated to open in fall 2024.

Princess Anne has suffered minor injuries and a concussion following an incident at her country home, Buckingham Palace announced Monday.
Anne, who is the 73-year-old sister of King Charles III, was hospitalized but is expected to make a full recovery. The incident at the Gatcombe Park estate happened on Sunday evening.

A tiny baby girl died after being left in the back of a hot car just two months after her adoptive parents took her home as a newborn.
Diana Sofia De Los Santos was found unresponsive in the SUV outside her parents' home in Santee, San Diego, about 12.20am on June 13.
She had been left in the car for several hours in 63F weather when a family member found her and called 911. The baby girl was rushed to hospital but did not survive.
San Diego County Sheriff's Office detectives are investigating how Diana was forgotten in the car and who left her there. No charges have been filed.

To recap, the child, Jocelyn Nungaray, was found strangled to death in a creek in Houston, Texas. Two illegal aliens from Venezuela were arrested for her death. They are Johan Jose Rangel Martinez, 21, and Franklin Jose Pena Ramos, 26. Pena Ramos had his bail set at $10 million. The two illegals reportedly lured the girl under a bridge and assaulted her for hours before she was killed, which Townhall covered.
