U.S. health officials on Tuesday warned doctors to be alert for dengue cases as the tropical disease breaks international records. The virus, which is spread by mosquitoes, has been surging worldwide, helped by climate change. In barely six months, countries in the Americas have already broken calendar-year records for dengue cases. (Snip) Dengue remains less common in the continental United States, but in the 50 states so far this year there have been three times more cases than at the same point last year. Most were infections that travelers got abroad, but officials warn that local mosquitos are a growing

“About 1 in 4 dengue fevers are symptomatic, the CDC says. Symptoms, if they do occur, show up typically five to seven days after infection. People often feel fever, and other flu-like symptoms, such as nausea, vomiting, aches, rashes, joint and bone pain, and headaches. [SNIP] Small infants, pregnant people and the elderly are more vulnerable to severe complications.“
Wow, same playbook. I guess because so many people fell for it last time, they decided to try it again.

The second I read the words “pregnant people” I disregarded this article as BS designed to advance Marxism. I suspect the long term approach here is to manipulate people using fear and guilt as tools, as is usual with the globalist Communist crowd, but the dead giveaway of where the author’s allegiance lies is in the nonsense language and the disregard of facts in order to describe a problem in political terms.

My cousin got it while in the Army in New Guinea in WWII.
I'd say this is another gift from Joe Biden.

FTA: has been surging worldwide, helped by climate change. [emphasis added]
Objection. Stating alleged facts not in evidence. Every MSM and government publication includes these little climate change references just by rote in every article they can. There is rarely any further justification or discussion of this allegation because the articles are about something else, just like this one. It’s as predictable and about as accurate as “safe and effective” was three years ago.

It is occurring in the US, because cities and counties are broke, and are not spraying for mosquitoes, as they did in the past --- but they have given themselves 5% annual pay raises, that being their priority.

Article is mostly bogus, but consider the source. As for the virus, caught it in the PI in the eighties - it can be pretty brutal.

NOT "caused by global warming", caused by infected illegal aliens crossing the OPEN border.

What a load of crap! Mosquitos form and thrive in standing water, which has nothing to do with global warming...if there is standing water, there could be mosquitos

I smell the stench of Bill Gates.. again. Last year he was involved with the development of a mRNA "vaccine" for malaria and since 2020, he's been giving funds to a company called Oxitec to release billions of genetically modified mosquitos in Florida, California and Texas.
Here comes the law of unintended consequences. Or in Gates' case intended consequences.

Oh yeah, blame it on climate change, not on people allowing them to breed in un-emptied tires, cans, etc left lying about...
Sort of like blaming guns for the immoral acts of people with no conscience...but generally they blame drivers for accidents...

They initially blame 'climate change' but then say most cases were caused by travelers from abroad. Sounds like another ''gift'' from the millions of migrants from abroad.
