RALEIGH, N.C. — Former president Donald Trump endorsed North Carolina Lt. Gov Mark Robinson for governor on Saturday, several months after the former president pledged to do so. At a rally at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex, the former president also compared Robinson, who is Black, to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the famed civil rights leader. He referred to Robinson as “Martin Luther King on steroids.” Trump said Robinson wasn’t sure how to respond when Trump compared him to the legendary civil rights leader, telling him: “I think you’re better than Martin Luther King. I think you are Martin Luther King times two.” “You should like it,” Trump said.

Interesting, not following NC politics, I've never heard of this guy. But if Trump supports him, I'd vote for him.

Mark Robinson is great. His 2018 NRA words are still on YouTube. Unfortunately, DJT's MLK comments are a gift to Democrats in the general. Another Trump own goal. And I want them both to win.

Robinson has shirked his duties as Lt Gov, as leader of the NC Senate, and in his authority with sitting on the NC Board of Education. He has not tackled one single issue in any of those political arenas that were handed to him by law. his only issue to talk about is men in women's bathrooms. He had no input on the budget, has not argued to reduce taxes in NC, did not show up for Board of Education meeting nor has he commented to all this DEI and woke ism in education. If you want more details about him, go to President Trump is getting some very bad advice from NC rinos like Sen Thom Tillis and the leaders of the NC General Assembly. They have included Robinson in their rino graft and corruption.

Olena Zelenska, Ukraine's first lady, turned down an invitation from the White House to attend Thursday's State of the Union address, dashing President Joe Biden's dreams of seating her next to Alexi Navalvny's widow in a show of force against Russia. The White House intended to place Zelenska and Yulia Navalnaya, the widow of murdered Russian opposition leader, in Jill Biden's box on the night of the president's prime time address. The plan was to use the women as powerful image against Russian President Vladimir Putin, coming at a time when Biden wants Congress to approve more aid for the Ukraine.

From the moment Joe Biden illegitimately took office, whispers about whether he would run again in 2024 began. Biden himself even said the quiet part out loud by saying California governor Gavin Newsom could soon “have the job I’m looking for.” Most Democrat party elites have remained steadfast in their support for Biden verbally despite his infamous gaffes becoming even more common than they were when he first took office. Recently however, something changed. Special Counsel Robert Hur’s report on Biden’s mishandling of classified documents was damning, even for those previously aware of Biden’s cognitive deficiencies. It claimed that Biden’s memory is “significantly limited,”
