Doritos has fired a trans artist that appeared in one of its promotional videos after being alerted to her old tweets, including one where she wrote about doing 'depraved things' to a 12-year-old.
Singer and activist Samantha Hudson, 24, appeared in a new partnership with Doritos Spain through a 50-second video called 'Crunch Talks that has now been deleted from the brand's Instagram.
Doritos told Rolling Stone on Tuesday it would no longer work with Hudson, saying they were unaware of her previous inappropriate posts.
The decision follows massive backlash on social media, as users posted grabs of Hudson's old writings.

Do companies even bother to vet applicants these days? In years past whenever I applied for a job it was like going through and FBI (when it was a competent organization) background check. Now it seems that companies won't do that for fear of a lawsuit.

The fact Doritos decided hiring a trans activist was a good idea is an actionable offense regardless of "Samantha's" background.

Is anyone else getting sick of hearing the word "Influencer"? Useless people spreading their evil and vapid lifestyles should not be lifted up by the media and society.

Sounds like a background check may have been performed but it wasn't comprehensive enough to find the "old tweets." Most employers will check the social-media activity of a candidate but I don't know how deep the average HR staffer can dig. Doritos should be grateful that they've been rescued from the PR mess they got themselves into before it festered into a disaster on the scale of Bud Lite.

So Ramon Laguarta allowed Pepisco to use the Tranny Samantha has their new spokesperson for one of their brands? No background checks? No social media checks? This one is on Ramon. Pepisco has sunk to a new low, supporting pedos.

Whoever hired it without doing a background check should be fired now.

Doesn't matter to me that Doritos fired him when they learned of his background; he never should have been hired in the first place! Gender dysphoria is and has always been a mental disorder; why would any company (especially post Bud Light example) engage with any disturbed person, and why would any company consider this person's endorsement as worth anything to their customers? I'll never buy another bag of Doritos, even if they apologize from now to doomsday.

The DM article, which is not elevated by playing The Pronoun Game®, or calling people by the wrong sex, does not mention whose head at Doritos' parent company (Pepsi, I think) is on the chopping block. Who's playing tha role of Alissa Heinerscheid in this subsequent business blivet? After the crystal clear lesson the Bud Light fiasco offered, some immoral so-and-so at Pepsi just couldn't control himself and repeated a boneheaded mistake someone else made, hoping to secure approximately 0.2% of the beer market. Say goodnight, Gracie.

Why did they think it was a good marketing ploy to hire this degenerate tranny inthe first place? Did Doritos hire Bud Lite's former marketing director, the lovely Mx. Heinerscheid? BOYCOTT FROTO-LAY! There are a million chips makers, many of them small, local companies, who make great chips!

My first thought was, they should check their hires more thoroughly. Then I changed my mind: somebody *did* check this hire out, knew about the posts, and approved the hire anyway.

#16 has it right. Regardless of this perv’s past disgusting acts, who thought it would be a good marketing ploy to go “trans”. What the heck are they teaching in business schools these days? No more Pepsi or Doritos for me. Maybe they can hold on to their munchies stoner base but they have lost me.

being a so-called 'influencer' is a sketch proposition, ewwww. however; i have been a proud trend setter,
far ahead of the curve: simply by boycotting daritos, and brand ambassadors ... my entire life.
