Each side in today’s often-angry political debate over the upcoming presidential election seems convinced that its candidate has a clear advantage. But, as of now, neither President Joe Biden nor former President Donald Trump has an obvious edge in the popular vote as we enter the final eight months of the 2024 election season, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows. Despite being widely criticized for his lackluster campaign and showing continuing signs of age-related mental impairment, Biden holds a slender 43% to 42% lead over Trump. The online national poll of 1,246 registered voters was taken

An online poll is worth as much as a poll of the vagrants on the streets of Los Angeles or any other sewer city.

More of the "Not-Worth-Spit" polls paid for by the DNC to keep their lemmings chasing that laser-pointer. The only Poll that matters is the one held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Eagles Up!

Beware of the vote counters in the key states where democrats are in control, or in Georgia where the republican governor is a certified RINO. The votes that matter are the ones counted after midnight in those suspect states.

I do NOT believe it is even close, much less neck and neck! As much as the "polls" get it wrong sometimes, still too many show Biden in the toilet on just about everything that matters, so unless they are already counting fraudulent votes there is no way Biden is that close to Trump. Sounds more like wishful thinking of a Dem!

We MUST remember that November's election is JUST for the Presidency. If we elect Trump but fail to gain both Houses of Congress we will have failed. DJT will have a gun without a full clip. No - our efforts must be GOP vs the Dims - vigorously.

If true, perhaps we don't just need paper ballots and voter ID to vote, perhaps we need to pass a test on cognitive ability, because it is quite obvious Democrat voters have some severe mental impairments of their own.

We've seen the most transparently dishonest legal assertions made to keep Trump off of the ballot. No one in a position of authority could possibly believe that a state judge or a state official could decide who gets to run for president. Such an actor could not possibly be insulated from the advice that the legal proposition is absurd or at least too controversial to assert. If they'll do that in the open, they'll cheat on the ballot counting in secret.

It doesn't matter if Trump wins enough electors on election day. When congress counts the electors on Jan 6 2025 many will change their vote just like Trump wanted them to do on Jan 6 2021 and Biden will be pronounced the winner. And the news media will be filled with why it was fine to do that in 2025 but not in 2021.

Just stop it already. Constitutionally there is no such thing as the popular vote for President. It's the Electoral College that decides things, so caterwauling about the popular vote is a moot point.

Basically, it's a race to the bottom. Literally, Joe Biden has nothing to run on, so he has to make Trump look worse than him. That's his entire strategy. Voting for Joe Biden means turning a blind eye to many things: Joe's senility, all the inflation, all the tyranny, all the anti-US policies, all the corruption, and all the ignorance and stupidity. At least Trump offers a real alternative, but our media screams hysterically 'TRUMP BADD!!!!', and people believe it. As for these nationwide polls, I don't follow them anymore. Guaranteed the Democrats aren't. They are going state by state. Which states they have in the bag, and which states they need to reach 270 electoral votes. They just need to win a state by 0.1% (or less) to get its electoral votes.

The flagship institution of higher education in the red state of Florida is shutting down its diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) office. The University of Florida is ridding itself of the malign chief diversity officer position, sacking the program’s useless staff, and is also “halting any contracts involving the subject,” the Associated Press reports. After President Joe Biden embraced the term “Bidenomics,” he and his White House staff couldn’t get enough of it. But either Biden’s forgotten all about it, or the administration realized that it was doing no good to brag about something the public didn’t believe. Either way, the term is vanishing from use. It was in a speech in Chicago on June 28, 2023, that Biden decided to bear-hug the term. “I didn’t come up with the name. I really didn’t,” he said. “I didn’t realize the economists in the Wall Street Journal did. But I’m happy to call it ‘Bidenomics.’

Despite farcical claims about the wonderful success of Bidenomics, Americans don’t buy the media and White House spin any longer, if they ever did. They know the economy’s going backward and that inflation remains a dire threat to our nation’s standard of living and its global economic leadership. For those of a certain age, there’s a whiff of 1970s-style stagflation in the air. It was a period of high inflation, insufficient growth, and, to borrow a phrase, near-universal cultural and economic malaise. Everyone felt as if they were falling behind. After a 40-year stretch of low inflation, solid growth and rising real incomes, the economy has returned to its dire ’70s-version.

This headline says much more than the Politico editors intended: “Federal agencies scramble to finish Biden’s rules — and protect his legacy from Trump.” The story is about how, if regulators can get rules finalized by April, it won’t be so easy for Donald Trump and congressional Republicans to overturn them, as they did with the regulations Barack Obama imposed just before leaving office. Federal law – the 1996 Congressional Review Act, to be specific – lets Congress vote to overturn regulations within "60 congressional session days" of when they are finalized. After that, it becomes nearly impossible to get rid of them.
