Who was it who said of the Palestinians that they never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity? You could say the same of the Republican Party. Then there is the adage, attributed to Napoleon, that you should never interrupt an enemy when he is making a mistake. The Republicans violated that one today, too.
By rights, the Democrats should be in disarray. The Biden administration has been a disaster, as pretty much everyone knows, regardless of what some loyalists may tell a pollster. And yet it is the Republicans who can’t get their act together. Once again, they have bailed out the Democrats with an idiotic vote to oust

If only this group were as willing to oppose the Democrats. We have elected the GOPe over and over, and now we have communism. Not great work!

RINOs have brought us to this place. Sellouts with no spines. DC , RINOs and Dems need to collapse in on themselves. They should be tarred &feathered and run out of time on a rail. They have compromised our children’s/grandchildren’s future. They can rot.

Nothing had been accomplished since McCarthy was elected... his promises were not kept. It is time to stop the insane spending, war on law enforcement folks, Trans & Drag evil, attacks on our military, and Ozero's third term. TG for a strong, patriot Matt Gaetz the rest of the Eleven. We have to start rebuilding our nation. Please pray for DJT!

Am glad that Kevin is gone. I hope his replacement is a hard liner. I am sure that the Dems are enjoying this, but Kevin was not getting it done. Loved the fact that the acting speaker kicked Nancy out of her secret office.

Speaking of missing an opportunity, this author, as do most others, missed one by not including "an intentional" before "disaster" in this quoted sentence. It makes a difference since otherwise, Bidet is pathetic; that makes it policy.
FTA: The Biden administration has been a disaster, as pretty much everyone knows,

But the devils are not in disarray, are they, John? Because of people like you and the evil left, our side is in disarray. Dems are busy stealing elections on the way to 2024, and you people are working against the base. The country is in disarray because evil people are in power--pubs and devils alike. So, whatever! ya clown.

Yep. As I've mentioned previously, right when Americans are looking to them for leadership, they Republicans have to show their backside to the whole country. "Don't trust us, we can't even trust and support each other!". As McCarthy and others have been methodically exposing the corruption of Joe Biden, Ronald McGaetz and 8 other clowns jump our of their little car and blow everything up, then wrap themselves in the true conservative flag. Was McCarthy perfect? No. But he was doing something very important. Gaetz threw a huge wrench into that. Why? Who really helped "the swamp" here? And what kind of deals did Gaetz make with the Dems? Those are questions to ask yourself. Also, what, exactly, is it that Gaetz has accomplished in his sojourn in the House? Think about it. Also, ask yourself why Trump himself criticized this idea. What he said is exactly what's happening - the Republicans attacked their own and show they are in disarray, while the Dems stand in lockstep unity. It's not a good or trust-inspiring look. And it may cost them and any GOP presidential candidate the 2024 election.

#11 - McCarthy has not approved one subpoena for Wray or any Biden to come before the committees investigation Joe Biden so I consider that a failure and indicative that McCarthy was not serious about impeaching Biden.

When has John Hindwiper ever been correct?

Rebooblicans "never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity." Excellent expression! I'll be using it myself, and the GOP by its actions will probably be giving me plenty of opportunity to use it. I am disgusted.

So, Hinderaker's not happy? Let's see the House elect Trump as speaker and really torque him off. John, it's about leadership - it's hard for the House Republicans to get their act together when there's no support from the top.

What? We should let McCarthy continue to reach across the aisle, continue funding Ukraine while America burns and drain our Treasury to the last dime to keep the democrats happy? Gaetz, for all of his showmanship, made a needed correction. Accept it and move on. It certainly can't make things worse. So the democrats are better at sticking together? So are dens of Rattlesnakes. That doesn't make them right.

Newt had the Contract with America. McCarthy had . . . no message. When any proper message would have been better -- save the middle class, inflation is killing us, protect our children from the Left. . . . The only message McCarthy had was that he was the preordained leader of the House.

"Never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity" should be the Republican party motto. The next most obvious opportunity I see would be to put DJT in the Speaker's chair. Could you imagine the impact that would have? The gnashing of teeth and tearing of garment? Not a pearl would remain unclutched! I don't think there is (or ever was) anyone who could get more accomplished in that role than him. If nothing else, imagine the picture of him sitting next to that creature, both of them behind that decrepit old criminal as he incoherently mumbles (or shouts?) his way through a state of the union address. It'd be magical.
