Many years ago, I wrote about a largely forgotten classic Disney film, “Song of the South.” The 1946 film was innovative in the way the studio combined live action and animation in an effective way, and it won Academy Awards for Best Original Song and an honorary award for star James Baskett — who became the first black man to win an Oscar. Walt Disney fought hard to make “Song of the South” his way, and he was much more hands-on with it than he had been on a film project in years. Song of the South was the MOST DELIGHTFUL movies Disney ever made. Can’t be watched anymore because some one was offended. that person does not know or appreciate real talent!

I purchased a DVD of Song of the South, so that my grand kids will be able to see it. It is a wonderful story, and the racist haters who call it racist are just evil people. It has wonderful songs, too. "Zippedy-doo-dah, zippedy-ayy! My, oh my, what a wonderful day. Plenty of sunshine heading my way...." From memory and it has been decades since I've watched it. A memorable, happy, sunshine filled movie with a loveable, happy black lead character.

Let's see....an older black man as protagonist and also the wisest, kindest person in the movie. The little white boy at the center of the story has a black kid as his best friend. The only "villains" are two white trash boys and the little boy's mother who comes across as something of a b****. Uncle Remus saves the little boy's life after the boy tangles with the bull by showing up to console him. I have a bootleg copy that I bought at a Civil War show. Not very good quality. It's also available on the Internet Archive in much better quality.

Along the same line of evil, stupidity and Leftist censorship, I understand that in Portland, OR (or maybe it's Seattle, WA... anyway, out on the Left Coast somewhere) there is a big Harry Potter display in a large museum..... but they have CENSORED any mention of J.K. Rowling, the lady who wrote the books and created Harry Potter, because she does not support the transgender perverts. The Extreme Leftists are doing everything they can to erase any history that does not 'Toe the Leftist Line'.

If you look hard enough on the internet it can be found. It's a wonderful story, but it was banned because it didn't make slave owners look cruel enough. I am surprised that the movie Showboat was allowed.

An IRS special agent was shot and killed during a training exercise on a Phoenix gun range by another agent Thursday, sparking an investigation by the FBI. ABC 15 News broke the story that the shooting and death had occurred outside of Anthem on a range used by multiple law enforcement agencies. FBI officials released a statement on Thursday evening confirming the death of the agent but did not share further details about what exactly happened on the range. The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) also issued a statement that it was investigating a “shooting incident” at the Federal Correctional Institutional (FCI) Phoenix firing range Thursday afternoon

Ford CEO Jim Farley experienced a common complaint from electric vehicle owners during his cross-country road trip in the automobile maker's electric pickup truck, calling it a "reality check." "Charging has been pretty challenging," Farley said on X, the social-media website formerly known as Twitter. "It was a really good reality check of the challenges of what our customers go through and the importance of fast charging and what we're going to have to do to improve the charging experience." (X) His comment came during his roundtrip across Route 66 in Ford's latest electrical vehicle venture, the F-150 Lighting. The CEO documented his experience on both X and LinkedIn.

A new report from Military.com has revealed that Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma is refusing to reveal the cause of death for 17 base personnel who have passed away this year. How does one base have a death toll of 17 in the span of eight months? Why would the base not want to share information concerning what happened to these individuals and why so many people at one military installation have died? Since the base is funded with American tax dollars and the people dying are public servants, I think the general public has a right to know what is going on at Tinker Air Force Base, don’t you?

So I decided to kick off my Thursday efforts with a non-Biden-scandal or non-Trump-legal-issues article. If you're like me, you might need a short break from the wall-to-wall reportage on both subjects. While Biden is the subject, this one's about his locutionary struggles, for which President Word Smith is legendary. It occurs to me that we should perhaps first define "locution": A particular form of expression; a word, phrase, expression, or idiom, especially as used by a particular person, group, etc.; a style of speech or verbal expression; phraseology. Biden's come up with more than a few beauties in the past, as I'm sure you're aware. Here are just two

Most journalists seem to believe that their job is to promote Joe Biden’s policies, instead of relaying the facts. In a recent segment on CNN, Jake Tapper and guest Ayesha Rascoe could not, for the life of them, understand why the public is not as enamored with Joe Biden’s economic policies as they were. For years the media has told us how compassionate and empathetic Biden is; so what could it be? Well, Rascoe thinks she figured it out, and the problem isn’t that he’s extremely corrupt and incompetent, it’s that people just don’t feel warm and fuzzy about him.

The world of U.S. election fraud tactics changed forever -- in the most fundamental of ways -- last week with the Gateway Pundit publication of the alleged 2020 Michigan ballot manufacturing factory. Days later, the Michigan Secretary of State confirmed that indeed this event did take place, adding a little different spin -- the system caught this fraud before it impacted an election. Interesting that now, three years later, an admitted massive election fraud event did occur -- yet not one person has been jailed. Not one prosecuted. Not one indicted. Crickets! One would think Michigan would have announced such a “catch.”

The Biden DOJ keeps hitting Donald Trump with new indictments, including one that could possibly draw the draw the death penalty. These mounting attacks on the former president have drawn comparisons to a banana republic or third world dictatorship. A new development suggests a different dynamic is in play. Former U.S. Attorney General William Barr was recently asked if he would be willing to testify against Trump. “Of course,” Barr responded. Special Counsel Jack Smith’s case was “challenging,” but Barr does not think it “runs afoul of the First Amendment.” That runs afoul of Bruce Thornton, who makes a strong case that quashing free speech is what

Arguments were made to reduce the cost of the surgery in its Journal of Ethics issue in June titled Patient-Centered Transgender Surgical Care. But the AMA has been criticized for floating the idea and has been accused of holding an 'activist position'. It argued that trans women's inability to bear children may cause them to experience 'psychological dissonance' which undermines their health and well-being.

That request went to M. By the time the approval was received, workers were unable to reach the siphon release so that the water could be diverted.
