Many years ago, I wrote about a largely forgotten classic Disney film, “Song of the South.” The 1946 film was innovative in the way the studio combined live action and animation in an effective way, and it won Academy Awards for Best Original Song and an honorary award for star James Baskett — who became the first black man to win an Oscar. Walt Disney fought hard to make “Song of the South” his way, and he was much more hands-on with it than he had been on a film project in years. An IRS special agent was shot and killed during a training exercise on a Phoenix gun range by another agent Thursday, sparking an investigation by the FBI. ABC 15 News broke the story that the shooting and death had occurred outside of Anthem on a range used by multiple law enforcement agencies.
FBI officials released a statement on Thursday evening confirming the death of the agent but did not share further details about what exactly happened on the range.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) also issued a statement that it was investigating a “shooting incident” at the Federal Correctional Institutional (FCI) Phoenix firing range Thursday afternoon
Ford CEO Jim Farley experienced a common complaint from electric vehicle owners during his cross-country road trip in the automobile maker's electric pickup truck, calling it a "reality check."
"Charging has been pretty challenging," Farley said on X, the social-media website formerly known as Twitter. A new report from Military.com has revealed that Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma is refusing to reveal the cause of death for 17 base personnel who have passed away this year. How does one base have a death toll of 17 in the span of eight months? Why would the base not want to share information concerning what happened to these individuals and why so many people at one military installation have died?
Since the base is funded with American tax dollars and the people dying are public servants, I think the general public has a right to know what is going on at Tinker Air Force Base, don’t you?

James Comer (R-Ky.) of the House Oversight Committee requesting that the National Archives fork over every email involving the Biden Racketeering Family and their “dealings” with Burisma and Ukraine. So I decided to kick off my Thursday efforts with a non-Biden-scandal or non-Trump-legal-issues article. If you're like me, you might need a short break from the wall-to-wall reportage on both subjects. While Biden is the subject, this one's about his locutionary struggles, for which President Word Smith is legendary.
It occurs to me that we should perhaps first define "locution":

The world of U.S. election fraud tactics changed forever -- in the most fundamental of ways -- last week with the Gateway Pundit publication of the alleged 2020 Michigan ballot manufacturing factory.
Days later, the Michigan Secretary of State confirmed that indeed this event did take place, adding a little different spin -- the system caught this fraud before it impacted an election. Interesting that now, three years later, an admitted massive election fraud event did occur -- yet not one person has been jailed. Not one prosecuted. Not one indicted. Crickets!

The American Medical Association (AMA) has suggested that taxpayers should subsidize uterus transplants worth up to $300,000 to help transgender women get pregnant.
Arguments were made to reduce the cost of the surgery in its Journal of Ethics issue in June titled Patient-Centered Transgender Surgical Care.
But the AMA has been criticized for floating the idea and has been accused of holding an 'activist position'. It argued that trans women's inability to bear children may cause them to experience 'psychological dissonance' which undermines their health and well-being.
Dr. Rachel Levine is assistant secretary for health in the Department of Health and Human Services. Levine was previously Pennsylvania’s secretary of health. Levine is the first openly transgender federal official to be confirmed by the Senate. In Joe Biden’s administration of identity box checkers, Levine is at the top.
