President Joe Biden suddenly changed his tone during a speech Wednesday and started yelling that the US has never failed at “one thing.” The speech given on Wednesday, following the second anniversary of the catastrophic withdrawal from Afghanistan, was given from the East Room of the White House and was meant to tout the one-year anniversary of the Inflation Reduction Act, which did anything but that. Nevertheless, Biden is crowing over its delusional success. As he was bragging about a non-existent win, he pointed to “our friends on the other side of the aisle,” and carped that all he hears from Republicans is how much is wrong

Former Trump White House attorney Stefan Passantino filed a defamation lawsuit against MSNBC’s Andrew Weissman, who served as lead prosecutor for former special counsel Robert Mueller, over Weissman’s claims that Passantino coached discredited January 6 Committee witness Cassidy Hutchinson to lie on the stand.
“Hutchinson’s third-hand testimony that Trump grabbed the wheel of his presidential limousine in an effort to force it to drive to the Capitol was rejected by the people she claimed had told her about it,” Breitbart News reported.
Passantino represented Hutchinson at the time of her testimony before the committee.
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton said he is exploring options on how to address problems at Colony Ridge, a massive housing development north of Houston that’s become a hub for illegal immigrants thanks to financing methods that circumvent any need for proof-of-citizenship documents.
Paxton, fresh off the sidelines after a failed attempt by the legislature to impeach him, said he received a briefing on the development this week after it was the subject of an investigation by The Daily Wire. “I got a briefing on this yesterday,” Paxton told radio host Michael Berry, calling it “completely insane that they can set up these villages with illegal immigrants.”

The younger Biden and his business associates at Rosemont Seneca spoke with Menendez’s office about CAF and secured meetings between CAF and DOT officials, archived emails show.
Project Veritas on Thursday served James O’Keefe with a lawsuit one day after announcing it was suspending all operations.
O’Keefe said there was between $6 million and $8 million cash on hand. “They’ve apparently spent all of it, raising almost no money at all since they ousted me.”
