Michael LaRosa, former White House Press Secretary for Jill Biden, is begging Joe Biden’s handler’s to not have him go join the United Auto Workers picket line next week, after Biden posted an announcement he was headed on Tuesday to support striking workers in Michigan. The scheduling of Biden’s trip comes after President Trump announced he will be meeting with striking workers on Wednesday in Michigan. LaRosa posted on X Twitter, “Ugh no, please don’t do this to him. These engineered performances ALWAYS come across as awkward, overrehearsed, & phony, especially through visual mediums like TV.

This will be fun! It won't take much for PDT to outshine Biden. I'm confused. Are the automakers switching to EVs because the Biden administration is requiring them to do so? Is Biden trying to sit on the fence for both sides?

When the automakers start losing thousands of jobs because of Biden's EV obsession they will rue the day they ever believed a word he says. He will lie and present himself, as always, as their "pal" but when it comes to shutting down plants in order to make these damn EVs that nobody will be able to afford to buy, he will ghost them. Better wiseup UAW.

Joey's going to join the picket line so the UAW will continue to turn over campaign contributions to him. He wants to UAW people to earn $126/hour. Will anyone buy a new vehicle again? What's that going to cost for a EV which no one wants anyway.

Just yesterday Biden gave a half a million illegal aliens his permission to work in the USA. So how many of those illegal aliens that Biden says can now work in the USA will Biden be bringing with him to meet the striking US citizen UAW workers and to apply for work in the U.S. auto industry, as surely the striking UAW workers will be pleased as punch to meet and assist Biden’s illegal aliens in getting hired in their industry?

I like to see how Biden is welcomed since the strike is to compensate for Bidenomics that has already brought 25% inflation that is still increasing and compounding every month. So their 40% raise and COLA demands are not really out of line. The EV protections is also 100% thanks to Biden and seems like a valid concern. As for the 32 hour work week that is something they can bargain away if they get the other demands. Compared to Trump years when workers were making gains without striking.

The strike begun by the United Auto Workers last week expanded to 38 parts-distribution centers across a dozen states as the union demands higher wages as well as “economic and social justice.” Around 13,000 auto workers had already stopped working at Ford, Stellantis and General Motors plants in Michigan, Missouri, and Ohio before additional GM and Stellantis facilities were added to the strike. No further Ford locations were impacted by the expanded strike as the UAW said it had made progress with company executives.

Climate change alarmist and former United States Vice President Al Gore has blasted the fossil fuel industry, accusing oil and gas companies of “using the atmosphere as an open sewer.” Mr. Gore, whose climate rants have grown progressively more unhinged, said this week that fossil fuel companies are “digging and drilling and pumping up the fossilized remains of dead animals and plants and burning them in ways that use the atmosphere as an open sewer, threatening the future of humanity.” Like many prophets of climate Armageddon, Gore has sought to pin the blame for opposition to alarmism on the selfish interests of fuel companies, rather than recognize a growing scientific challenge

The Democratic Party is increasingly beginning to abandon President Joe Biden as rumors ramp up that he may drop out of the 2024 presidential race because of health concerns. Several Democrats voiced their concerns to the Washington Post over Biden's declining physical and mental health, saying death is "imminent" for people at the president's age— who will be 81 years old in November. "He is in a period of his life where passing and death is imminent," the leader of the Democratic Party in Lorain County in Ohio,

Since then, the percentage of religious Democrats has fallen 23 points to 37 percent. “During that time, the percentage of Democrats identifying as spiritual but not religious has increased 14 points, while the percentage saying they are neither has tripled,” the survey found. The landmark Washington National Cathedral unveiled new stained-glass windows Saturday with a theme of racial justice, filling the space that had once held four windows honoring Confederate Gens. Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson. The new windows depict a march for justice by African Americans, descendants of the very people who would have remained in slavery after the Civil War if the side for which the officers fought had prevailed. The cathedral had removed the old windows after Confederate symbols featured prominently in recent racist violence.

Mexico City—From a White House podium in May, U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas outlined new legal pathways to the United States for Venezuelans and others, along with a “very clear” message for those who come illegally. “Our borders are not open. People who cross our border unlawfully and without a legal basis to remain will be promptly processed and removed,” he said. On Wednesday, Mayorkas announced temporary legal status for an estimated 472,000 Venezuelans who had arrived in the country as of July 31 — including some who ignored his stern warnings and came illegally. Circumstances change, but the Biden administration’s sharp expansion of Temporary Protected Status may complicate its messaging.

Americans are gearing up for another election next year — and they'll likely be choosing between two of the oldest presidents ever again. Age has become a central issue this election cycle following a spate of high-profile 'senior moments' including two Mitch McConnell freeze episodes. Aside from Joe Biden, 80, and Donald Trump, 77, US politicians on Capitol Hill are older than ever, and there are growing calls for term limits in the House and Senate. Texas Senator Ted Cruz and Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley have been outspoken about age in recent months, claiming that politicians are increasingly too old to represent their constituents.

For a second straight day in the French port city of Marseille, Francis took aim at European countries that have used “alarmist propaganda” to justify closing their doors to migrants and tried to shame them into responding with charity instead.
