A Rhode Island state senator who was caught keying a man’s car last month was sentenced to pay restitution after admitting to the charges of vandalism and obstruction of a police officer. (snip) Miller, 69, was arrested in June after he vandalized a car with a "Biden Sucks" bumper sticker and later lied to police. He initially denied keying the car and later claimed the victim was "daring" him to once police confronted him with video evidence. During the arraignment, Miller pled no contest to the two charges and was ordered to pay $2,850 in restitution to the vehicle owner and to donate $250 to the Rhode Island Community Food Bank.

The victim ( the guy that own the car that got keyed, not the poor helpless Democrat) should file a civil suit. Make the momentary lapse in judgement really pay. Say, wipe out his retirement paying a lawyer to defend him.

I have yet to meet a Democrat who has been "truly sorry" for anything he/she does. They are arrogant and always feel they are entitled to act in any way they want. He was sorry that the police officer didn't buy his act....nothing more.

On the first morning of a weeklong hearing to determine if Donald Trump is constitutionally ineligible to appear on Colorado's 2024 presidential primary ballot, the judge overseeing the case rejected Trump's request to recuse herself over a $100 political contribution she made prior to taking the bench. "Its website proudly proclaims that the group was formed 'shortly after Colorado Republicans refused to condemn the political extremists who stormed the United States Capitol on January 6, 2021,'" Gessler wrote. A federal judge on Monday ordered the Biden administration to stop cutting razor wire on fences along the southern border in Texas meant to stop illegal migrant crossings. Judge Alia Moses, of the U.S. Western District of Texas, on Monday ordered the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to stop "disassembling, degrading, tampering" miles of razor wire running along the Rio Grande near Eagle Pass. The temporary order is a result of a lawsuit brought by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, arguing that federal officials claimed they had authority to destroy state property "to allow [illegal] aliens to enter & be processed." A Denver court began hearing arguments Monday in a lawsuit seeking to bar former President Donald Trump from the state’s 2024 ballot over his role in the Capitol attack on Jan. 6, 2021. The trial comes after Colorado Judge Sarah Wallace last week rejected the latest attempt by Trump to toss the lawsuit, which was filed on behalf of six voters in Denver district court last month. The lawsuit argues Trump should be prohibited from running in future elections, citing Section 3 of the 14th Amendment to the Constitution, which states no person may hold office if they “engaged in insurrection or rebellion”

Joe Biden sold a house to a supporter for $1.2 million in 1996 - but it is only worth an estimated $1.65 million 27 years later, DailyMail.com can reveal. The current valuation raised questions over whether Biden received an inflated price for the property from a donor nearly three decades ago. It was purchased by an executive for a credit card company that, in the same year, also hired Biden's son Hunter and then paid him for years. Biden bought the 10,000 square-foot mansion in Greenville, Delaware for $185,000 in 1974. At the time he had recently become a senator on a salary of $42,500.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken contends that Hamas would gain no “greater” victory “than allowing its brutality to send us down a path of terrorism and nihilism. We must not let it.” You can hear echoes of Barack Obama’s insufferable moral equivalencies imbued in that statement. The contention is a not-so-subtle warning to Israel, who will almost surely enter Gaza and try to dismantle the Hamas terror state — which has been indirectly and directly funded not only by Iran, the European Union, and the United Nations but also by the Obama and Biden administrations. The insinuation, of course, is that Israel needs to temper its inclination to engage in “terrorism and nihilism.

A recent ADL report found that incidents of antisemitism had almost tripled over the past six years nationally.
