A federal judge on Monday ordered the Biden administration to stop cutting razor wire on fences along the southern border in Texas meant to stop illegal migrant crossings. Judge Alia Moses, of the U.S. Western District of Texas, on Monday ordered the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to stop "disassembling, degrading, tampering" miles of razor wire running along the Rio Grande near Eagle Pass. The temporary order is a result of a lawsuit brought by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, arguing that federal officials claimed they had authority to destroy state property "to allow [illegal] aliens to enter & be processed." Paxton asked the court for an immediate injunction last week

On the news back when this started, they claimed DHS was cutting the wire to "save people from drowning". Well, they shouldn't have been trying to come into this country illegally across a river to begin with.

Arrest, charge and try the CBP 'brown-shirts' who are 'just following orders' for destruction of state property. And jay walking and littering, too, if possible.

I just want a Federal Judge to say, once and for all: There is a Southern border. These people are entering the United States illegally. Federal law say........ Enforce the Federal Laws as written. Just because you do not like them does not mean that you can ignore them. Ordered immediately, the Biden administration must immediately enforce all immigration and border laws and return all individuals entering the US illegally to their country of origin upon illegal entry. Failure to comply will result in.......

The damage done to the entire country by Biden and Mayorkas through this illegal immigration action is permanent. We can enforce all of the laws and build as many fences we please from now until we get a real president but the eight+ million illegal criminal aliens in this country are a clear and present danger that must be handled, one deportation at a time, before all of those terrorists and soldiers get organized and begin to cause a lot more damage from within.

It is my understanding that the razor wire installed is/was on private property, and was installed with permission from the property owners. This means that the federal authorities deliberately destroyed private property, and should be required to reimburse for it - and that the responsible federal authorities should be prosecuted accordingly, IMO.

Cutting the razor wire to stop the illegals from drowning is such a stupid excuse. If they have reached the wire they are on dry land.

Oregon has reportedly voted to reverse its hard drug decriminalization because of the overdose epidemic now affecting the state. In 2020, almost 60 percent of Oregon voters approved Measure 110, which decriminalized the possession of relatively small amounts of hard drugs, including heroin, cocaine, methamphetamine, and fentanyl. The measure predictably led to Oregon becoming a den of drug addicts and drug overdoses.

California Governor Gavin Newsom, who is considered a rising star in the Democrat Party, is under fire after a report this week revealed that he pushed for a special carveout in the state’s new $20 minimum wage law that affects businesses owned by one of his top political allies and donors. Bloomberg News reported that billionaire Greg Flynn was getting a “new boost” after his chain of Panera Bread locations were exempted from a new law that forces fast food restaurants to increase their minimum wage from $16 to $20 per hour. Flynn is the largest “restaurant franchisee in the US, if not the world,” the report added.

A Chicago police officer is suing the city to change his race on his official records after the department said it would allow officers to freely change their gender to match their identity. Mohammad Yusuf, 43, said in a federal civil rights lawsuit filed last week that he is looking to change from “Caucasian” as he “currently identifies as Egyptian and African American.” However, the Chicago Police Department is not allowing him to change his race. The lawsuit comes as the department allows an officer’s “gender identity [to be] corrected to match their lived experience,” Yusuf’s lawsuit alleges.

In 2017, Antifa and its anarcho-Marxist allies and a few small white supremacist groups engaged in violent activity at political rallies. However, the Department of Justice prosecuted only the white supremacists under the Anti-Riot Act of 1968. A federal court has finally called foul on this unconstitutional government bias. The decision, by Judge Cormac J. Carney (a George W. Bush nominee), is in United States of America v. Rundo et al. The defendants, both self-avowed white supremacists, moved to dismiss the charges against them under the Anti-Riot Act because the government violated the equal protection clause when it failed to prosecute anarcho-Marxists for identical activity.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton on Tuesday secured a major victory in his challenge to the $1.7 trillion omnibus spending package passed in 2022, with a court declaring that the bill was approved unconstitutionally. President Joe Biden signed the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023 in December of the prior year. The measure effectively set the federal budget for the year by wrapping the 12 annual appropriations bills into a single piece of legislation. Paxton, however, had argued that the House's passage of the measure was unconstitutional as less than half of the lower chamber's members were physically present to vote on it.

Mary Poppins has had its age rating lifted from U to PG because it contains 'discriminatory language' - but the word in question is so obscure you may have never noticed it. The British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) now considers the 1964 tale of Julie Andrews' magical nanny to be not suitable for children to watch alone, despite the film enchanting generations of youngsters. The reclassification is due to the use of the word Hottentots. The dated term was historically used by Europeans to refer to the Khoekhoe, a group of nomadic herders in South Africa, but is now regarded as racially offensive.

An Arizona federal judge is upholding a state law that requires voters to provide verification of their U.S. citizenship before their votes can be counted. Following a lawsuit that led to Arizona legislators facing accusations of discrimination for requiring voters to verify their U.S. citizenship, Judge Susan Bolton ruled on Thursday that such requirements were not discriminatory. In March 2022, a group of plaintiffs led by the Hispanic voting rights organization “Mi Familia Vota” filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona, claiming that the state’s law was unconstitutional. The Biden Administration filed a separate complaint that was consolidated in the case.
