The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) voiced their anger towards the state of Florida because they executed a prisoner on death row, who claimed to be transgender, because they did not provide "medically necessary gender-affirming care." Using female pronouns to refer to Duane Owen, a convicted murderer and rapist, the ACLU said by not providing "gender-affirming care" it resulted in "enormous suffering and violating her right to be free from cruel and unusual punishment for the more than 30 years she was in state custody."

The University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) David Geffen School of Medicine has seen a drastic drop in its rankings, with some faculty members citing admissions decisions that “prioritize diversity over merit” as the cause.
Since Jennifer Lucero was appointed to the dean of admissions in June 2020, the medical school’s ranking has gone from sixth place to 18th place.

The statement was merely titled "Update on campus events," and never goes into the specifics of what those "campus events" of pro-Hamas encampments entail. The Israel-Hamas conflict that began after Hamas perpetrated a terrorist attack against our ally in the Middle East is never mentioned at all.

It will create a domestic headache for him at home, as the Democratic Party base has become increasingly hostile to Israel.
