Former President Donald Trump's rally is on in the South Bronx, and it's driving the Democrats crazy that so many people have come out to hear him in the deep blue area. Maybe it isn't so "deep blue" after all when you see the number of people coming out to see him. It was driving Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) mad to have it right in her backyard; her district is nearby. She threw a fit about it, trying to say he was there because he had to be in New York for the ridiculous lawfare against him, not realizing what she was essentially admitting about election interference.

If I recall correctly some time ago Kathy in her immense "wisdom" told other "clowns" that they weren't the kind of people that others in NY wanted around them. She invited these residents to leave the state and so they did taking a good chunk of the tax base with them. Only then did it occur to her that insulting a significant number of people may have been the wrong thing to do. Hopefully Kathy will succeed again and more "clowns" will leave. She can always be counted on to reveal her arrogant, entitled, and elitist persona. She can't help herself; it's in her political DNA.

Insults from the Left and their liberal supporters is getting to be a daily occurence. Just consider the source, publish the insult and keep moving toward the goal of getting rid of as many of them as possible. Standing around squawking like chickens finding a garter snake in the chicken yard really accomplishes little. It's what they do. Think of House and Senate hearings. What do they accomplish? Not much.

Trump’s sham ‘hush money’ case is

The Manhattan court docket says it’s the “People of the State of New York v. Donald J. Trump.” Legally, yes, but in a larger truth, no. As the case nears the finish line, it increasingly feels as if New York itself is on trial. Only a top-quality case, beyond reproach and political taint, should have been used to bring the first-ever indictment of a former president. Instead, the city and state put on a show trial long on theatrics–porn star testifies about sex! — and short on evidence that any crime was actually committed. And so the script has flipped, with the trial itself an assault on the notion that justice is blind.

What does it take to make a good society? In the West, not only liberals, but even conservatives of the activist disposition, have tended to think that we have really succeeded in creating a just society, if not a “good society,” in the Platonic-idealist (and illiberal) sense. As outlined in his dialogue Republic, Socrates’s famous pupil originally envisioned an ascetic warrior society without the right to family and private property. We have gone about it in another way. Arguably, the Western society, a product of innumerable, intertwined trade-offs, represents the pinnacle of social adaptation and civilized compliance. Resting on a foundation of Judeo-Christian ethics and ideas of the Enlightenment,

On Friday, May 24, as Chicagoans prepared for the Memorial Day weekend, Mayor Brandon Johnson and police superintendent Larry Snelling spoke to reporters, asking them to pass on a message to the public: “Parents, please, know where your children are. They’re out of school for the summer, and they should have fun, but they need to do so safely and responsibly.” Fifty years ago, such a statement would have meant, “Make sure your kids don’t play with dangerous fireworks, or go joyriding, or risk breaking a window with a baseball, or running out in a busy street.” No longer.

The got federal funds for endorsing their positions, despite the harm their positions were doing to the economy and to schoolchildren. They sure didn't care about science or the kids. Why don't Democrats and the media care that Biden dictatorially and unconstitutionally pays off student loans that go to rewarding universities that push leftist policies?

The position of Hungary in the Ukraine vs Russia conflict has been consistently pragmatic. Ukraine is NOT a NATO country, and when the USA essentially demanded that all NATO member states join in a unified mission against Russia, to promote the specific interests of the United States, it never made sense. Hungary has maintained a consistent position that NATO is a defensive partnership that should not seek conflict and war outside its member state boundaries. However, the USA has previously used its leadership role in NATO to pressure member states to join in conflict outside the NATO boundaries, ie. Iraq and Libya.

Without Social Security, millions would face poverty, straining families and state and local governments, increasing inequality, and destabilizing the economy.
