Chuck Todd, the host of NBC’s “Meet the Press” for the last nine years, announced on the show Sunday that he would step down from that role in the coming months. Todd said it’s important for people not to “overstay their welcome” and touted his accomplishments of building the show into a “distinct and important political franchise.” “It’s been an amazing nearly decade-long run. I am really proud of what this team and I have built over the last decade,” Todd said.

Todd who is just another rat faced communist, lying propaganda stooge for the Communist Death Democrats on NBC (nothing but communists) will skitter off into the marxist sunset with bags full of ill gotten loot earned for destroying our country. There has to be a special place in hell for evil, traitorous pond scum like Chuck Up Todd. I expect that Chuck Todd and NBC "mutually agreed" that he quit the show due to its continually poor ratings. I also expect that he will be gone before September, the month he said the new host would take the show. His bosses will decide nothing to be gained by waiting until then, especially if ratings do not soon improve. I also expect Todd will leave NBC; hard to play second fiddle after nine years of being on top. Meet the Press will likely not improve with Kristen Welker as host; she is as biased as Todd, totally dislikes Republicans as much as Todd does and she hates Donald Trump, as most media people do. Meet the Press was once exactly what its name says. These days it's Meet the liberal propagandist. Nothing is going to change, but the face of the host.

Ron DeSantis is running as the true-blue conservative in the race for the Republican presidential nomination. And he's learning the hard way that Republicans don't nominate true-blue conservatives. As Donald Trump leads every poll by double-digits, the Florida governor who seemed such a promising prospect just a year ago is now at risk of falling to third place. If Nikki Haley bests DeSantis in Iowa, his 2024 campaign won't be the only casualty; his hopes of ever becoming president will dim, and rivals won't fear him as they look to '28 or '32. How did DeSantis go from a 19-point reelection only a year ago to a fight for his political life today?
