Ahem. Later today, Beege will explore the question of what exactly it takes to get fired from Harvard. For now, let’s just marvel at the intellectual gymnastics of Harvard’s corporate board, which issued a statement just an hour ago or so expressing unanimous support for Claudine Gay … while tacitly admitting her plagiarism issues.
Here’s the Harvard Crimson report passing along their enthusiastic vote-of-confidence in the integrity of Gay’s leadership:
“As members of the Harvard Corporation, we today reaffirm our support for President Gay’s continued leadership of Harvard University,” the board wrote in a University-wide statement on Tuesday. “In this tumultuous and difficult time, we unanimously stand in support of President Gay.”

Claudine cheated on papers, including her doctoral dissertation. So, we can also assume she cheated on quizzes and tests. Bad behavior does not happen in isolation.

Unfortunately many people wouldn't go to a black doctor or lawyer just for this reason.

Congress needs to pass a bill that they can call:
"Don't Pay Gay"

If the president of Harvard were white, particularly white and male, he would have been gone last night. But Gay is black, female, maybe lesbian by the looks of her, so she is entitled.

Well: It's not all that easy finding another black woman to replace her.
Maybe they should call Sheila Jackson Lee, she is looking for a job.

So plagiarism isn't that big a concern to Harvard??? Is that "context" dependent too?
Dr. Gay attended Phillips Exeter Academy, a school known for academic excellence and privilege. No matter where you go to school, you learn early that plagiarism is a serious violation and a reflection upon your character. She had to know better, but she did it anyway.
The works Gay is accused of plagiarizing were those of Dr. Carol Swain, a prominent African American professor. Dr. Swain, after earning her GED, worked hard to achieve academic excellence. She became a professor at Princeton and Vanderbilt, as well as a best selling author. She has called on Dr. Gay to resign, which seems appropriate. In the past two years Harvard has thrown out 39 students for violating Harvard's Codes of Conduct. Why does their president get treated differently for cheating?

Oops. I thought I was done proof-reading. Sorry.

Seems the Board is more afraid of a huge lawsuit from firing a non white female especially if she is a lesbian than receiving repercussions of being anti Jewish.

So, that is the second prominent woman who cheated and got into Harvard and in the second case they are keeping her even after she supports the Hamas terrorists. The first, Elizabet Warren, even after she admitted lying about her genetic code, was kept on in her job. This is a sad testament to what was supposed to be an outstanding institution,

well, well, well Harvard is allowing the school president to resume her position but
- if the truth was revealed, she never has not been in her position and
- will continue to remain in her position for as long as she wants to remain in her position

It seems to me that the main thing of value that these fancy universities have is their reputation.
Just as Disney under Walt earned, over decades, a reputation as the Gold Standard of decent, high quality family entertainment, only to have that reputation destroyed in a few months by a bunch of leftist perverts, it seems to me that Harvard, as well as several of these other Ivy League schools are in imminent danger of becoming a laughingstock and butt of jokes.
It happened to Bud Light in what, a week?
At that point, the damage is done. Their graduates will not get hired, enrollment will drop, alumni contributions will dry up.
It will cost them Billion$ and years of hard work to restore their good reputation.... and that's if they actually work at restoring it.
So.... what will happen?
Wait and See!
