Michelle and Barack Obama’s latest movie

A year after leaving the White House, Barack and Michelle Obama created a production company called Higher Ground Productions that would produce documentaries and high-end movies. Their most recent movie, though, seemingly seeks the lowest ground possible, for it appears to stoke racial hatred in the context of an apocalypse. According to the Higher Ground website, Leave the World Behind throws a white and black couple together during a massive cyberattack: A family’s (Julia Roberts and Ethan Hawke) vacation is upended when two strangers (Mahershala Ali and Myha’la) arrive at night, seeking refuge from a cyberattack that grows more terrifying

I liked the movie. I think the black/white relationships were honest. Two families without much interracial contact. They started out suspicious of each other and ultimately found comfort and solace. With the current state of affairs between conservatives and progressives I can see the ending portrayed by the movie.

Bathhouse Barry has at least 50% victimhood in his new philosophy, and he really shouldn't trust himself. Apart from his Mommy, it was all "white people" whom he had "trusted" who helped make the "great imposter" possible, from scholarships to political donations. Almost none of it came from non-whites. IOW, Barry, you are a flaming HYPOCRITE!

The racial divide in America deepened dramatically when Obama was elected and it continues to do so, thanks to DEI and "diversity is our strength." The Obamas, from the moment they entered the White House, fomented dissension everywhere they go, and they keep doing it. People should ignore them and recognize them for the grifters they are. Never was a couple so vaunted who deserved it less.

My wife and I watched it. As it unfolded, the entire narrative was racism. It is everywhere throughout the film. The entire thing was an homage to the entitled white man and his/her racist world view. Basically, the movie sucked. The only scene that is worth anything, and even it is skewed, is the scene with Kevin Bacon in front of his house. It is towards the end of the movie. Otherwise, it's a hodgepodge of grievance mongering. I had no idea that the Obamas had their claws in it, but it is obvious now.

What would happen if a movie was made documenting the theft and rioting committed by the black community? We know, all hell would break loose. Yet, these democrat elitists can openly defame white people without barely a notice. This double standard must stop. Whites are not the ones committing violence en masse. It is totally irresponsible for the Obama’s to support these blanket statements. They are racists and don’t even try and hide it. Things would be much better in this country if they would address the real problems in their culture but they will never do it. They sit high above the black community and have no real interaction with their culture. They have moved on up and do not in any way mingle among their people. They are too busy on Martha’s Vineyard hobnobbing with their white neighbors.

I canceled Netflix last during the last year of PDJT's Administration leading up to the steal of the century in 2020. My son who is now working at his dream job gifted his mom with a new subscription this past Mother's Day. She likes Julia Roberts, so I got roped into watching this movie so that she'd watch The Commuter staring Liam Neeson. That's a good film in case you want to check it out. I agree with #23's assessment of the movie. Along with the bland ending. I didn't know that the Obama's who I dislike greatly had a hand in its making. I'm also not a big fan of Julia Roberts, Kevin Bacon or Mahershala Ali. I'll keep an eye out for anything produced by so-called Higher Ground Productions from here on out.

The Obamas are so powerful, they changed the meaning of what used to be the straight forward meaning of words, previously understood by common meaning. For example, black rioters, arsonists, thieves, looters-of-opportunity, and murderers in their 20s and 30s became known as "Teens" under Obama's watchful eye and within his compliant press. Quite an accomplishment.

My answer: the two weeks between March 16 and March 30, 2020. On March 16th, Donald Trump declared a National Emergency for COVID-19 and effectively shut down the nation for “15 days to slow the spread”. At a press conference announcing the temporary shutdown he said: said: “ With several weeks of focused action, we can turn the corner, and turn it quickly.” Regardless of the severity, never throughout the annals of mankind has a nation been shut down to combat a pandemic.

President Liz Magill faces a massive backlash for her appalling testimony before the House Committee on Education and the Workforce last week. Magill, along with Harvard President Claudine Gay and MIT head Sally Kornbluth, all refused to condemn or say that calls for genocide against Jewish people constituted harassment. They went the academic route of trying to contextualize the subject, which did not go over well. This isn’t an academic subject: people calling for an entire race or ethnic group to be annihilated isn’t a tough call.

Last night, I watched a documentary about the Gestapo. It occurred to me that it used the same tactics as the bumbling joke that currently occupies the Bully Pulpit and his minions. I did some research to substantiate my thoughts. The Geheime Staatspolizei, abbreviated Gestapo, was the official secret police of Nazi Germany. It was created by Hermann Göring in 1933 by combining various political police agencies of Prussia into one organization. On April 20, 1934, oversight passed to Heinrich Himmler, the head of the Schutzstaffel (the SS, originally Hitler’s personal body guard), who was also appointed chief of German police by Hitler in 1936.

Despite being given ample chances to do so, they just couldn’t seem to bring themselves to admit that the far left students carrying out these acts are violating school policies. Preston’s District 5 includes the Tenderloin District, an area known for its open-air drug market. Nearly half of the city’s homeless population lived in this district in 2022, the San Francisco Chronicle reported. The Democratic Socialist supervisor argued his district was particularly affected by homelessness because of the country’s economic structure. “I think what you’re seeing in the Tenderloin is absolutely the result of capitalism and what happens in capitalism to the people at the bottom rungs,”
