Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative journalist Seymour Hersh, fresh off his allegations that the U.S. was behind the Nord Stream pipeline explosions, has published a report that alleged the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) is aware of widespread corruption in Ukraine and the embezzlement of US aid.
Hersh’s report accuses the Ukrainian government of using U.S. taxpayer money to purchase diesel from Russia to fuel its military. He further suggested that Ukrainian officials are “competing” to set up front companies for export contracts to private arms dealers around the world.

Why does everything funded by US Taxpayers cost five times as much as it should and involve some level of corruption? We should not be funding this at all. I detect a pattern here.

Not surprised about this news. Assumed it was happening the whole time. Just wondering if the Big Guy is getting a bigger cut because of the inflation he has heaped upon us? And FJB just approved sending another $2 billion. Please, please, please will someone blow the toilet lid off of this crap a$$ crime family. It's all about the kickbacks and the corruption.

So what? As long as the Big Guy retains his cut, who in DC really cares? War is profit. DC thrives on profit. No surprises here.

That’s BS!!! They wouldn’t stoop down to pick up $400 Million. Try $4 Billion. If you’re going to kill several hundred thousand people you’re gonna make it worth your time.

When this Russia-Ukrainian war is over, we will most likely find Zelensky and other top level Ukrainian officials overflowing in dollars are living in big mansions in London and Paris with multi million dollar kickbacks having been sent to the “big guy” and his bagman son through foreign bank accounts. After that occurs the leftist Democrats will blame Trump with half the stupid US electorate believing that falsehood.

#1, no checks or balances. It's all phony baloney money most of which is going into the pockets of our 'elected' representatives.

Well, the 1st lady Zelensky did spend $40K in one day for Christmas shopping in London. Easy peasy U.S. tax dollars spent by the Ukrainian elites while its' citizen dies and American taxpayers suffer.

Our government is so big and bloated, no one knows where the money is going. How many times have we heard that millions were missing from an agency's budget and the head of that agency had no idea where it went. It is easy to steal from Uncle Sam, unless you are a taxpayer.

The Ukraine has been an off shore bank for the Uniparty for a long time. Just look at who's beating the drum to keep money & arms flowing there.

“Zelensky’s been buying discount diesel from the Russians,” one knowledgeable American intelligence official told Hersh. “And who’s paying for the gas and oil? We are."
Ukraine is buying fuel from its enemy?
Always thought something fishy was going on with this quote, unquote war. Ukraine is the size of Texas and Russia is twice the size of the U.S. Ukraine should be crushed by now, but instead we have a WW1 type war where both sides are stalled.

Seymour Hersh is a biased anti-American author well known for his unsourced hyperbole. Do not take anything he writes seriously as it is sure to be baloney. This is story is another in a long list of fabricated propaganda serving leftist narratives.

My concerns are for the Ukrainian people...they have suffered through a tough winter...to accomplish what???....their country has been trashed by Russia and now the big corporate dudes will spend a fortune rebuilding the country...and Americans will be paying for it....I think Zelinsky has played US...and he retires with a fortune...now how will he stop the fighting...will he surrender to Russia...or will this be another 20 year war like the Middle East?...lots of money to be made by the oligarchs....

Corruption in Ukraine should not be a surprise given that Russia and Ukraine are so intertwined thru history. Look at government corruption in the USA. Our government is not any better

I remember that with one quick phone call Zelenskyy, Vindman, Ciaramella, and the CIA got President Trump impeached. This payola/war was planned since Burisma contracted Hunter Biden for 80,000 a month.

We posters knew when our beloved govt. (ha!) wouldn't give us an account of where our taxpayer monies were going in
Ukraine that it was probably, most certainly, grift going on. And low and behold, here come the stories of the grift.
My question is: where do we go to get our money back we sent to Ukraine? Where is Congress who appropriates the
money sent to Ukraine? We taxpayers want some answers pronto!
