Chicago's mayor-elect said the city should not demonize the teens who organized a 'Teen Takeover' of the Loop over the weekend, even after the event turned violent with cars burnt cars and minors shot. Brandon Johnson, 47, said Sunday he does not 'condone the destructive activity' and that it's 'unacceptable and has no place' in Chicago, but that it should not be used as a way to vilify the group. 'However, it is not constructive to demonize youth who have otherwise been starved of opportunities in their own communities,' said Johnson, a progressive Democrat.

The question then is why has Chicago allowed so many in it's City to not have an opportunity? Who was holding them back? Or, is it not they've been held back, but many needed a certain segment of the City to always have a "need", thus, justify the programs and maintain their funding levels? You could double the budgets and doubtful there would be any meaningful improvement, which means money is not the answer.

Hizzonner is right about one thing. Demonizing the young hellions won't do much good. Lock them up instead. The streets are safer when violent criminals have been locked away for years. Northern Illinois needs some inspiration from El Salvador, where over 40,000 criminal gangsters have been vaccuumed off the streets and placed in government housing. Not the good kind. The gangbangers all belong in prison. All that's lacking is the willpower to go get them.

The black victimhood shtick to justify violent crime in black-run cities has run its course. It’s always somebody else’s fault. There are plenty of hard-working black people living decent lives. But it’s clear that black lives don’t matter to a whole lot of blacks because of a deeply flawed urban culture. The; cartoon in today’s Lucianne says it all.

It was just the latest in what is expected to be a protracted debate over how, when and even whether to raise the nation’s debt limit, now at $31 trillion, with default and a potentially devastating blow to the economy

Biden’s administration, as Breitbart News has reported, has taken steps to via executive action provide access to the Affordable Care Act to illegal aliens in the United States.
