Warriors Don't Want to Fight for a Woke,
Anti-American Military

Depressingly true.

We are in deep do-do like never before, people. It’s only a matter of when, not if, we’re invaded by China.

What true warriors want, the kind of warriors our nation needs,is found in “The Cavalier’s Song” by the 19th Century poet William Motherwell. The last stanza of which is: " Let piping swaine and craven wight Thus weepe and puling crye; Our business is like men to fight, And hero-like to die."

I agree with poster #2. Warriors also don't want to fight for a woke country full of ungrateful, hateful citizens and leaders.

Demographics, being what they are, are a greater threat to recruitment than anything else. The national birthrate is on a downward trend, and has been for years. Rurual populations are falling off, and urban kids are getting awful educations, unable to pass basic standards. Drug usage is another issue for many. Boys and young men prefer a bachelor (gay) lifestyle. Girls and young women are locked into a "Sex in the City" dream. If not in mom's basement, they're after a six-figure career, or a barista position, not a green suit. What's the draw to sign on to the military? Get sent off to get shot at? It sure isn't the "patriotism" in American youngsters.

If you did not know this, you should consider a class in physics.

I was drafted in 1968 into the Army going to Vietnam that we all fought for the likes of Lyndon Johnson and greasy haired Robert McNamara, war mongers. Today I wouldn't want my grandsons of age to fight for the woke clowns in Washington led by a demented stupid idiot like fraud Joe Biden. I have a young friend in the Army retiring after twenty years of service because of the dumbing down of the military. Good well-trained men and women are leaving. I would die for the defense of my country but not for the greed of stupid men, never. Let Hunter Biden, Lindsey Graham and other neocons pick up arms and get some 'skin in the game' for a change. I pray for my nephew everyday as he just completed USMC boot camp and is one leave prior to orders to MCAS Hawaii. I told him I liked the four years I was at Pearl Harbor and he's excited to go as he wants to be a Marine like his grandpa. He's a smart kid and I can see him as the Seargent Major of the USMC one day. I ask myself though who would want to enlist or be commissioned in a military ran by woke dimwitted fools like Joe Biden, Lloyd Austin and Mike Milley? Thankfully I joined the USN when GHWB was Commander-in-Chief.

In 1976 I joined the USMC as a Private. In 2000 I retired as a LtCol. It was a great career of service to my country and fellow citizens. I then went on to be a fire/rescue volunteer and full-time college professor. I have lived to serve... However, even during my military service there were hints of the current DEI stuff but we could work around it and keep the warrior ethos intact and accomplish the missions. Based on the political and so-called military leadership at the top today I would not recommend joining the services. The leaders know exactly what they are doing; it is intentional, unfortunately.

The military has been playing this little woke game since I was very young. Certain groups are untouchable when it comes to discipline or even criticism. As soon as you make people untouchable, you destroy unit cohesiveness and create resentment that doesn't need to be there. Dead giveaway is if they have a "month" for that subgroup. They base it on race usually, but also sex, religion, nationality and weird sexual proclivities more recently. There are actually people whos only military job is to push that carp down everyones' throats. I guess its a great way to fight a war. You sit in your air conditioned office and find ways to make white males hate themselves. Then you investigate those who dont and refer them to their commander for punishment.

There is an old adage that when the going gets tough in the military and elsewhere that is when the tough get going. The Democrats are starting to mumble that the way out of the military’s inability to recruit new members is to give illegal aliens the opportunity to join the US military in return for being granted U.S. citizenship, and of course the ability to vote for leftist, progressive, and socialist Democrats in future elections. The problem with all that is that illegal aliens in general do not come from established warrior classes, with most being generally uneducated, unable to speak and understand the English language, have little or no knowledge of US history or military traditions, and come to the USA simply to get a job, or take part in criminal activity, and make more money then they could ever hope to earn in their home countries, a good part of which they send back to their families in those home countries. The US media while talking about the Mexican criminal cartels that are heavily involved in smuggling dangerous and illicit drugs such as fentanyl and illegal aliens by the millions into the USA never mention that those cartels have built up a big infrastructure made up of deportable and outright illegal aliens inside the USA who distribute and transport all forms of contraband, drugs and illegal aliens, throughout the USA. Those illegal aliens for the most part actually continue to hold their primary allegiance to their home countries, and as such are not about to risk their lives in far off politically contrived wars against countries like China, Iran, or Russia. Instead as has happened in the past, when ground combat becomes evident, most would simply decamp back to their home countries until it becomes safe for them as duel-citizens to make uncontrolled returns to the USA. If the Democrats follow through on that plan they will be constructing a “fool’s gold” military.

No person wants to serve in a Biden-Milley-Austin military. There is zero chance of promotion for merited people, as the criteria is race, and woke attitude. The thumb is so on the scale that merit test results are not considered, or those less merited have their scores increased or accepted.

Young people do not believe they owe this country anything. If there was a new draft I doubt many would bother to show up. I don't blame them, they are taught garbage in schools about homosexuals , Trannies, CRT , the schools have no discipline,teachers don't get respect---not that many of them deserve any--we are busy trying to accept the unacceptable instead of learning basics. I don't think the Chinese will attack us any time soon, there are still enough of us old people with guns to give them pause, but I expect to see Taiwan fall soon ,and as we old folks with patriotism die off our country will fall to the woke. Which is just as bad as the Chinese.

that's the problem. Our military leaders are political animals not warriors. Most of them are sitting their with their bloated ranks based on nothing more than kissing the political left's fanny's. Compare most of the so called Generals and Admirals today and they got miles of ribbons and very few of them are for leading military units in war. How you get to be a Lt General when you've never led an actual army to war? These clowns ought not have more than two stars in today's armies yet there they sit with all their pretty medals and four stars. Makes you sick.

Two nephews who were USMC got out because they were disillusioned with what the Corps has become. Both strongly patriotic, but wouldn't stay in this messed up military.

Ever wonder just what Harry Truman or General Patton's reaction to this stuff would be? A real explosion would be heard, no doubt, followed by immediate changes in policy and personnel.

I guess I look at it a bit differently than most posters here. My Husband was also drafter during V Nam. He is extremely Patriotic! My idea on our Military is this. First we need to win this next election. Either Trump, or DeSantis will be a super President who will immediately begin to slash and burn those in Charge in the Military now. Once they get things turned around and get all the "Woke" foolishness gone, they will begin to rebuild. That means they also need to rebuild the Troops. I Personally think we should have a Draft. I also think it should be Young Men. That's because I'm Old Fashioned, I think women shouldn't be fighting (if that should be needed). That said, we wouldn't have Swarms of young men, with nothing to do, roaming the Streets. I think they would be marching and learning to take orders and be responsible. Something a LOT of them don't seem to know about (and that include the Snowflakes). College can wait until they put in their 2-3 years. When they come out, we will have a different country. They will be Men who can then get good jobs or go to College (do they still have the GI Bill)? Something MUST change in this country, or we are soon going to be living under Chinese Rule! I think having a Strong Military is a must and you're right, young men are not going to join, they will have to be drafted! And no, you can't get out because you have bad feet (like Trump did)!

IT's coming, wait for it. Fragging! Look it up. We had lots of it in Vietnam when Fresh face Lieutanants showed up smarter than hardened combat Veterans and started barking orders that would have got their men KILLED. Yep that Lt. woke up to the sound of a Ping, and then BOOM, OR the Lt. was hiding in his foxhole and a grenade somehow rolled in to the foxhole with the Lt.!

The Demon-Rats want to be the ruling dictators of this country. By mastering election theft, they are nearly there. When that happens, it will naturally lead to Civil War 2. The last thing the Demon-Rats want is for a military full of strong and patriotic normal American males to turn on them and side with the patriotic Americans in that war. So they have done everything to weaken our military to the point where it would have a hard time defeating France. They have driven out the patriotic young men, and replaced them with woke weak females and homosexuals and uneducated thugs. It is all by plan, and is working far beyond their wildest dreams.

We fight to Win. No debating!

What would I be fighting for? Half of the country wants me dead, I'd join a war against them. Join the US military? Forget it. Woke BS. De-fund the Pentagon.

Who in their right mind wants a POS like Austin and serve under his command?
