New York Post opinion writer Miranda DeVine on Monday criticized former President Donald Trump for dwelling on past grievances instead of offering better solutions to problems the United States faces.
"What Donald Trump ought to be doing, that is putting forward a vision for the future not complaining endlessly about the past," DeVine told FOX News host Laura Ingraham. "I think the fact that he spent so much of that interview talking about his current issues with [Manhattan DA] Alvin Bragg I think was a waste as well. To be constantly focusing backwards, there are a lot of problems in this country and he is able to articulate those. But how

Dear Miranda
All of DJT's legal issues are our ussues. If they can do it to him then we are all vulnerable. Look at what just happened to Matt Taibbi. We know what DJT will do when re-elected. It is why the left is desperate to destroy him.

If Trump wants to be elected President again, he needs to stop attacking fellow Republicans and focus on what he will do to clean up the mess Democrats have made over the past two years. We know what has happend and want to know what Trump will do going forward. He cannot succeed without help from others, including some he criticizes.

Alvin Bragg is current events, and one does not ignore current events. Bragg is essentially politically low blowing Trump over and over. The same thing happened while Trump was President, and he was effectively neutered and eventually pushed out of office. Btw, we saw the same thing with Bush II who was also effectively neutered in his final term.
For any Republican running for office, I want to know how they will counter this. Especially Trump since he seems to have the most effective policies and those policies are not supported by the powers controlling Washington.
We don't need another repeat of this.

DeVine is right on the $! Mark Simone had a guest yesterday who managed Reagan's 2nd win and he said that these tactics and nicknames may satisfy Trump's base but it winkle get him a single vote from Independents, disgusted Democrats or people like me, who were supporters but am sick of the drama and potatoes without the meat: accomplishments, ideas etc. But Trump will NOT listen, and there is no way he can win this way. What I suspect is he will start a 3rds Party out of pique and we will lose the Presidency---he could care less.

I want a President who has has experienced years of constant attack from deep state politicians and the press. I want a President who has learned to personally despise the Washington DC establishment and will go scorched earth on day one! I want a President who made huge differences in four short years, saw it all torn down by the current administration, and will come into office with a determination to lay waste to the entrenched politicians. I want a President that I admire enough to actually be saddened should he died in a nuclear attack on DC while Congress was in session.

Others here make excellent points, but the simple truth is both Fox and the NY Post are Murdoch owned, and Murdoch hates Trump. Anyone forget the Arizona call? Not speculating here - we know the bias.

The object is to win the Presidency not just the nomination. If Trump doesn't change his NY in-your-face complaining we will live through another Dem presidency because Independents and suburban woman will not vote for him. Worse, we will also lose both House and Senate and election fraud will be cemented in law for damn near eternity.

It doesn’t matter one whit that Murdoch owns Fox News and the New York Post. Laura Ingraham and Miranda Devine are right. The American people don’t care about Trump’s grievances. They want a fix to the deplorable state of our country. Trump has a great record. He ushered in a booming economy after the doldrums of the Obama years. Everything has gone to seed after Biden took charge. Stop the complaining, President Trump. Knock off the stupid DeSantis digs. He owes you no loyalty.
By the way Miranda Devine is responsible for breaking the story about Hunter Biden’s laptop. Pretty good for a “girl reporter” from New York.

Sorry, toots, but if someone steals a very valuable, one-of-a-kind, family heirloom from me and wears it in public but refuses to give it back, or say that they stole it, I’m going to shout from the rafters every day that it was stolen from me. What kind of fool advises someone to put a landslide, stolen presidential election behind them? I’ll tell you who: squishes, cowards and the corrupt.

Trump will be 80 years old if he is elected President. Anyone else have a problem with that? I also want him to address the mistakes he made during his first term like hiring deep swamp traitors, not doing wholesale firing of the top communist death democrats infesting the executive branch and agencies, especially not firing wholesale, generals and admirals like that fat traitor Miley, admitting that the vaccine and lockdown was a huge mistake including not firing Dr. Mengele Fauci and Brix, what are his plans to restore the Republic which must include at a minimum elimination of most of the existing government agencies and reducing the federal workforce by two thirds, reforming our utterly corrupt Justice system and bringing criminal charges against all these Congress Scum who have gotten wealthy and broken a myriad of laws, so on and so forth. I want to know what he is going to do clearly spelled out, and for the record, I was a huge supporter of President Trump in 2016 and 2020 which I believe was stolen.
I do have a problem with his age though. Enough with these ancient leaders.

We already know he can do better than the insanity we are seeing now. What I really want to know is what he will do DIFFERENTLY from what he did before. He had 4 years to drain the swamp. He didn't, and the swamp drained him. What will he do this time to start some serious draining?
And yes, his main staff and appointments (other than the Supreme Court) were terrible. What is he doing NOW to line up quality people? I don't see anything. Do you?
Also, he needs to develop a group of leaders in the Senate and the House to support him and his programs, and also to develop strategies to short circuit any future lawfare and impeachment offensives that the Democrats would again obstruct him with. Where is that effort to develop such congressional support in advance? I don't see it. Do you?
I'd vote for him again if he's our candidate, but my concern is that he continues to think and act like it's all about him, a one-man show. That is NOT going to work. Show us the difference while there is still time.

I can't wait to vote for Joe Biden and Kamala again! They are doing such a good job. Finally I am making so much Interest income - 10% 5 year CDs are coming back!! The cabinet is really taking care of the Federal Government agencies! Those millions of civil servants are just doing such great jobs, earning every $ we spend on them, makes me so proud with their efficiency. IRS is top notch, State Department is shining our light of freedom all over the world, Army is kicking ass in over 100 countries, Air Force is ready to destroy China & Russia & North Korea & Iran. Saudis love us. India wants our help to stop their global warming. EU loves our energy & US dollar policy. And don't get me started on those BEAUTIFUL US trains - reminds me of Switzerland & Germany & France. US airlines have never been stronger - Boeing is shaming those Airbus klapperkassens that Lufthansa & BritishAir are flying.
And don't even mention the US DOT success with diversity in the cockpit. Uniparty stealing it from Trump was the best thing ever. Let's do it again!! Wheeee.

Miranda might as well save her breath. I don’t believe Trump will change. Some people may like being around someone who is “all abut me” and complains all of the time. I doubt many independents want to hear this. It’s all about adding to your base a lot if you expect to beat Biden or any of the disgusting democrats.

#20 is exactly right. If not for the roster of Fox News contributors, where will he find a cabinet and able advisors?
His record of major appointments is dismal. Mad Dog, T-Rex, Milley, Bolton, Gorka…and the same crowd crowing now is the same that we’re orgasmic over these and other failed personnel decisions. Trump also endorsed “losers” from McConnell to Romney. He not only kept Fauci around, but made him the face of COVIDS policy. Oh, and he’s still so proud of his vaccines, dismissing the many deaths they caused as just a price of saving tens/hundreds of millions. And let’s not mention the 50% increase to our national debt that he authorized, which is the major fuel for current inflation.
While Trump had accomplishments, he also had many failures. But those cannot be acknowledged by MAGA Nation.

Trump is like a soldier who has stormed and taken a hill when being fired upon from both front and back. An impossible task for almost anyone. Let DeSantis try that. The list of his accomplishments which DeSantis has (yet) not achieved is mile long. As far as I am concerned PDT does not have to prove anything. There is no one better out of 330 million to be President.

Ian, and all the people that want President Trump to shut up about the past injustices, I have a simple question for you:
If you went on vacation, and some squatters broke into your house and changed the locks, and you couldn't get in, and so you called the police and they said they couldn't do anything about it (which is actually happening all over the country thanks to Demon-Rats protecting squatters), would you just go "OK, I guess I'll just move on"? Or would you fight it with everything you had no matter how long it took to remedy this injustice that was done to you?!?!?!?
Donald Trump had the presidency of the United States stolen from him. If Republi-Can't politicians and judges had looked at the facts and fought against this blatant theft, imagine how much better our republic and the world would be in right now?!?!?!?!? But they didn't. They just decided to "play nice" and accept the theft as fact. And we are all suffering for that!!!!
So, no, Ian, that is your opinion, but I will support Donald Trump's calls for justice forever!!!!! Trump 2024!!!! MAGA again!!!!!!!

Who's grieving now?
Rupert Murdoch, Carl Rove, Paul Ryan, all the Bushes and Cheney's 2
The Pilot production of"The Seven Million Dollar Man" just got cancelled due to high production costs and low ratings.
It seems Americans aren't interested in Political Science Fiction Theater any more. Who can forget that Fox news stinker, "Strategery"
According to the ratings, "MAGA man" is still #1 with Real Human American Citizens!!!
Laura (lawyer) Miranda (Journalist) are grieving as well, they don't get to play Trump's campaign managers,
but they sure know how to "Fake" outrage.

Take heart all knowing Trump critics. The real reforms that have to happen to have a fair election, probably won't happen. You can whine about Trump from now till the next Deep State monster is shoved down your throat. Then you can continue to whine about Trump and MAGA. Miranda isn't the only one oblivious to President Trump's accomplishments/reforms that the egotistical old fool managed to do in spite of a rat party, a rabid media, a Deep State so evil and vast we can't comprehend it, and you. It is funny that a crowd that thinks they are so smart and savvy about politics, has the foolish idea that DeSantis is a better Trump than Trump. Ron is better than Pence, but thinking he isn't a politician is silly. The chamber of commerce and beltway insiders know who Ron is better than some posters, but with mail in ballots, etc. no reformer will win in 2024. They all underestimated Donald Trump in 2016. They blatantly stole the Presidency in 2020 with a media and DC pretending that didn't happen, they will steal it again.
