New York Post opinion writer Miranda DeVine on Monday criticized former President Donald Trump for dwelling on past grievances instead of offering better solutions to problems the United States faces. "What Donald Trump ought to be doing, that is putting forward a vision for the future not complaining endlessly about the past," DeVine told FOX News host Laura Ingraham. "I think the fact that he spent so much of that interview talking about his current issues with [Manhattan DA] Alvin Bragg I think was a waste as well. To be constantly focusing backwards, there are a lot of problems in this country and he is able to articulate those. But how

If Trump wants to be elected President again, he needs to stop attacking fellow Republicans and focus on what he will do to clean up the mess Democrats have made over the past two years. We know what has happend and want to know what Trump will do going forward. He cannot succeed without help from others, including some he criticizes.

Alvin Bragg is current events, and one does not ignore current events. Bragg is essentially politically low blowing Trump over and over. The same thing happened while Trump was President, and he was effectively neutered and eventually pushed out of office. Btw, we saw the same thing with Bush II who was also effectively neutered in his final term. For any Republican running for office, I want to know how they will counter this. Especially Trump since he seems to have the most effective policies and those policies are not supported by the powers controlling Washington. We don't need another repeat of this.

DeVine is right on the $! Mark Simone had a guest yesterday who managed Reagan's 2nd win and he said that these tactics and nicknames may satisfy Trump's base but it winkle get him a single vote from Independents, disgusted Democrats or people like me, who were supporters but am sick of the drama and potatoes without the meat: accomplishments, ideas etc. But Trump will NOT listen, and there is no way he can win this way. What I suspect is he will start a 3rds Party out of pique and we will lose the Presidency---he could care less.

I want a President who has has experienced years of constant attack from deep state politicians and the press. I want a President who has learned to personally despise the Washington DC establishment and will go scorched earth on day one! I want a President who made huge differences in four short years, saw it all torn down by the current administration, and will come into office with a determination to lay waste to the entrenched politicians. I want a President that I admire enough to actually be saddened should he died in a nuclear attack on DC while Congress was in session.

It doesn’t matter one whit that Murdoch owns Fox News and the New York Post. Laura Ingraham and Miranda Devine are right. The American people don’t care about Trump’s grievances. They want a fix to the deplorable state of our country. Trump has a great record. He ushered in a booming economy after the doldrums of the Obama years. Everything has gone to seed after Biden took charge. Stop the complaining, President Trump. Knock off the stupid DeSantis digs. He owes you no loyalty. By the way Miranda Devine is responsible for breaking the story about Hunter Biden’s laptop. Pretty good for a “girl reporter” from New York.

Trump will be 80 years old if he is elected President. Anyone else have a problem with that? I also want him to address the mistakes he made during his first term like hiring deep swamp traitors, not doing wholesale firing of the top communist death democrats infesting the executive branch and agencies, especially not firing wholesale, generals and admirals like that fat traitor Miley, admitting that the vaccine and lockdown was a huge mistake including not firing Dr. Mengele Fauci and Brix, what are his plans to restore the Republic which must include at a minimum elimination of most of the existing government agencies and reducing the federal workforce by two thirds, reforming our utterly corrupt Justice system and bringing criminal charges against all these Congress Scum who have gotten wealthy and broken a myriad of laws, so on and so forth. I want to know what he is going to do clearly spelled out, and for the record, I was a huge supporter of President Trump in 2016 and 2020 which I believe was stolen. I do have a problem with his age though. Enough with these ancient leaders.

We already know he can do better than the insanity we are seeing now. What I really want to know is what he will do DIFFERENTLY from what he did before. He had 4 years to drain the swamp. He didn't, and the swamp drained him. What will he do this time to start some serious draining? And yes, his main staff and appointments (other than the Supreme Court) were terrible. What is he doing NOW to line up quality people? I don't see anything. Do you? Also, he needs to develop a group of leaders in the Senate and the House to support him and his programs, and also to develop strategies to short circuit any future lawfare and impeachment offensives that the Democrats would again obstruct him with. Where is that effort to develop such congressional support in advance? I don't see it. Do you? I'd vote for him again if he's our candidate, but my concern is that he continues to think and act like it's all about him, a one-man show. That is NOT going to work. Show us the difference while there is still time.

I can't wait to vote for Joe Biden and Kamala again! They are doing such a good job. Finally I am making so much Interest income - 10% 5 year CDs are coming back!! The cabinet is really taking care of the Federal Government agencies! Those millions of civil servants are just doing such great jobs, earning every $ we spend on them, makes me so proud with their efficiency. IRS is top notch, State Department is shining our light of freedom all over the world, Army is kicking ass in over 100 countries, Air Force is ready to destroy China & Russia & North Korea & Iran. Saudis love us. India wants our help to stop their global warming. EU loves our energy & US dollar policy. And don't get me started on those BEAUTIFUL US trains - reminds me of Switzerland & Germany & France. US airlines have never been stronger - Boeing is shaming those Airbus klapperkassens that Lufthansa & BritishAir are flying. And don't even mention the US DOT success with diversity in the cockpit. Uniparty stealing it from Trump was the best thing ever. Let's do it again!! Wheeee.

#20 is exactly right. If not for the roster of Fox News contributors, where will he find a cabinet and able advisors? His record of major appointments is dismal. Mad Dog, T-Rex, Milley, Bolton, Gorka…and the same crowd crowing now is the same that we’re orgasmic over these and other failed personnel decisions. Trump also endorsed “losers” from McConnell to Romney. He not only kept Fauci around, but made him the face of COVIDS policy. Oh, and he’s still so proud of his vaccines, dismissing the many deaths they caused as just a price of saving tens/hundreds of millions. And let’s not mention the 50% increase to our national debt that he authorized, which is the major fuel for current inflation. While Trump had accomplishments, he also had many failures. But those cannot be acknowledged by MAGA Nation.

Ian, and all the people that want President Trump to shut up about the past injustices, I have a simple question for you: If you went on vacation, and some squatters broke into your house and changed the locks, and you couldn't get in, and so you called the police and they said they couldn't do anything about it (which is actually happening all over the country thanks to Demon-Rats protecting squatters), would you just go "OK, I guess I'll just move on"? Or would you fight it with everything you had no matter how long it took to remedy this injustice that was done to you?!?!?!? Donald Trump had the presidency of the United States stolen from him. If Republi-Can't politicians and judges had looked at the facts and fought against this blatant theft, imagine how much better our republic and the world would be in right now?!?!?!?!? But they didn't. They just decided to "play nice" and accept the theft as fact. And we are all suffering for that!!!! Take heart all knowing Trump critics. The real reforms that have to happen to have a fair election, probably won't happen. You can whine about Trump from now till the next Deep State monster is shoved down your throat. Then you can continue to whine about Trump and MAGA. Miranda isn't the only one oblivious to President Trump's accomplishments/reforms that the egotistical old fool managed to do in spite of a rat party, a rabid media, a Deep State so evil and vast we can't comprehend it, and you. It is funny that a crowd that thinks they are so smart and savvy about politics, has the foolish idea that DeSantis is a better Trump than Trump. Ron is better than Pence, but thinking he isn't a politician is silly. The chamber of commerce and beltway insiders know who Ron is better than some posters, but with mail in ballots, etc. no reformer will win in 2024. They all underestimated Donald Trump in 2016. They blatantly stole the Presidency in 2020 with a media and DC pretending that didn't happen, they will steal it again.

Lock Donald Trump up, or don’t lock him up, but don’t tell me that “no one is above the law.” It’s one of the most ludicrous fantasies peddled by the left. Plenty of people are “above the law.” James Clapper, who lied under oath to Congress about spying on the American people, is above the law. John Brennan, who lied about a domestic spying operation on Senate staffers, is above the law. Unlike Trump advisor Peter Navarro, Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder was never going to be handcuffed and thrown in prison for ignoring a congressional subpoena. He is above the law. Trump’s 2016 opponent, Hillary Clinton, is also above

Now that we’ve seen what District Attorney Alvin Bragg has, the old Peggy Lee song comes to mind. Is that all there is? Yes, that’s all there is. The charges against Donald Trump are almost exactly as predicted. They are weak and, most important, political. As such, they are shockingly-blatant punishment for Trump daring to become president. In this sordid case, the letters D.A. stand for Democrat Attorney. The charges are the crime. Shame on Bragg for abusing his authority and turning his office into a partisan outpost.

As we await the publication of all the impending indictments of former President Donald Trump by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, Americans are trying to figure out what constitutes an indictable offense for current and retired public officials. Most legal experts, Left and Right, have noted: 1) Bragg promised in advance that he would try to find a way to indict Trump. His prior boasts are reminiscent of Stalin’s secret police enforcer Lavrentiy Beria’s quip, “Show me the man and I’ll show you the crime.” Nancy Pelosi gave the game away, when in her dotage, she muttered that Trump had a right to prove his innocence as if he is presumed guilty.

A transgender Tennessee mass shooter this week executed three adults and three nine-year-old children at a Nashville private Christian school. The first was led by none other than President Joe Biden. He lectured that guns were the cause of the mass deaths, not the free will of a psychopathic killer. Thirty years ago, on March 29, 1993, China formally amended its constitution and adopted the "socialist market economy" as the country's economic system. The move marked a significant step in the nation's decades-long economic "reform and opening-up" process, which began in 1978 following years of political, social and economic upheaval caused by the Great Leap Forward and the Cultural Revolution. It laid the foundation for the "development of the socialist rule of law," and by incorporating the concept into the constitution, shaped the direction of China's economic development, according to the People's Daily, the newspaper of the Chinese Communist Party's Central Committee.

Federal courts of appeals cannot agree whether climate change lawsuits are governed by state or federal law. Some federal courts have also concluded these cases should proceed in state court, an outcome Judge David Stras – a respected jurist on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit – just last week called "confounding," even if correct. It’s time for the Supreme Court to intervene. For over a century, the Supreme Court has held that lawsuits over air (and water) pollution that crosses state lines must be decided under federal law. This means overreaching states and cities cannot impose their environmental agendas on their neighbors

In a historic election, the liberal judge Janet Protasiewicz is projected to win her race for a seat on Wisconsin’s supreme court. Her win will flip the ideological balance of the state’s highest court, which has been controlled by a conservative majority for 15 years. Elections and democracy observers have called this election the most consequential one of the year, with abortion rights, redistricting and election rules at stake. The race pitted Protasiewicz, a Milwaukee circuit court judge and former prosecutor, against Dan Kelly, a former Wisconsin supreme court justice with ties to election deniers and the far right. Protasiewicz will replace the conservative justice Patience Roggensack on 1 August;

The chief executive of JP Morgan has suggested that governments should seize private land to build wind and solar farms in order to meet net zero targets. Jamie Dimon, the longstanding boss of the Wall Street titan who donates to the Democratic Party, said green energy projects must be fast-tracked as the window for averting the most costly impacts of global climate change is closing. (Snip) “We may even need to evoke eminent domain – we simply are not getting the adequate investments fast enough for grid, solar, wind and pipeline initiatives.”
San Francisco, RIP? 23 replies

My introduction to San Francisco came in the late 1970s, when I spent a lot of time there as a young lawyer. For a Midwestern guy, the San Francisco of that era was a revelation: great restaurants, famous hotels on Nob Hill, fog drifting in off the Bay. But today’s San Francisco is, sadly, something else. The San Francisco Chronicle has a long, long article about the city’s demise: “Downtown S.F. on the brink: It’s worse than it looks.” And it looks really bad. The numbers are grim: "Don’t be fooled. The downtown area, the city’s primary economic driver, is teetering on the edge, facing challenges greater than

Another contentious election, another voting machine controversy. As reported by local Fox affiliate WLUK, a voting machine in Green Bay broke down and needed to be replaced during Tuesday’s election. “City clerk Celestine Jeffreys said the machine at the Green Bay Botanical Garden wasn’t working,” WLUK reported. “Backup machines also did not work.”The city had to borrow a voting machine from Brown County. “Those machines had been serviced, so we have to take a much more close look after this election as to whether or not we need to purchase new machines

Renowned San Francisco drag performer Heklina was found dead Monday in London, England, where she was performing in a touring show, CBS Bay Area reported. The death of Heklina — also known as actor Stefan Grygelko — was first reported in social media posts by fellow drag artist and performing partner Peaches Christ (aka Joshua Grannell), with whom Heklina was touring in "Mommie Queerest," a musical parody of the 1981 Joan Crawford biopic "Mommie Dearest." "I am living in a real-life nightmare so forgive me if I don't have all the answers just now," read the message Grannell posted on both the

Rupert Murdoch and Ann Leslie Smith have called off their engagement, only two weeks after it was first announced. The 92-year-old media baron had proposed to the former dental hygienist, 66, with an 11-carat diamond ring thought to worth up to £2m just last month. The couple, who previously described their whirlwind romance as a 'gift from god', planned to wed this summer. But their engagement was abruptly called off today after the pair were said to have reluctantly come to 'mutual decision' after talks last night.
