Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell was released from an inpatient rehab facility on Saturday after being treated for a concussion, and the Kentucky Republican will return home to work remotely "for the next few days."
"I want to sincerely thank everyone for all the kind wishes," McConnell wrote in a statement. "I'm going to follow the advice of my physical therapists and spend the next few days working for Kentuckians and the Republican Conference from home. I'm in frequent touch with my Senate colleagues and my staff. I look forward to returning in person to the Senate soon."

Sometimes people notice a personality change after someone they know has had a concussion. Let's hope this knocked some sense into McConnell and he'll change for the better.

He ought to retire and stay home. He doesn't need the money and he is way past retirement age.
His leadership sucks . His testes have shrunken---if they were ever normal size.

He suffered a concussion because he fell on his head while he was drunk. He needs to go to alcohol rehab and detox, then find a meeting of Alcoholics Anonymous. Right now he is in total denial he has a problem with alcohol. But he does.

Do us all a favor and stay home, we need new leadership who will actually do what is best for the people, instead of what is politically best for themselves and those power mad swamp rats.

I think he should start wearing a bicycle helmet, that would put the finishing touches on the turtle. Take time to picture that, if you didn’t laugh you need another cup of coffee

#11, no caffeine yet and that was still funny. I may never again see him in TV and not conjure up that image in my brain.

I guess you can sabotage the party from home as easily as you can from the Senate floor.

I have my doubts about the "concussion" story. Mitch is following the exact same trajectory as my DH who had a stroke years ago - hospital for a few days, a few weeks in intensive rehab, then home for rest and home therapy. Recovery is pretty complete, but then my DH wasn't 81 years old.
On the other hand, it is quite possible that the turtle drank too much with his cronies at the WA, fell, smacked his head and triggered a brain bleed. Whatever happened, I suspect we're only getting some of the story like with John Fetterman and Harry Reid before him.

Why can’t he share space with Fetterman? Two heads, one brain.

Turtle, how apologize to President Trump for your sins and resign.

How unfortunate. I was hoping the bottom-feeding, grifting, RINO slug would have the common courtesy to retire when the option appeared.

Here is the big problem. In Mitch's universe, the Republican Conference is a real thing that he represents, separate and distinct from Kentuckians who elect him. He represents donors, wall streeters, wealthy individuals and donors whose interests diverge or even conflict with the interests if American individuals. Mitch, like the rest of the Senate, serves two masterss.
Trump works for us. Mitch works for those who write checks. One is a puppet. The other is a president in exile.

this is a vile hoax of the gerontological nursing home of state.
like the castro brothers, the 'voters' are not to know on which side of the grass these invalids purport to 'rule'.
