Several of Donald Trump's declared and potential rivals for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination have weighed in on the Manhattan grand jury indictment of the former president.
"The politically motivated indictment of the 45th President of the United States marks a dark moment in American history," Vivek Ramaswamy said in a tweet.
Ramaswamy, a multi-millionaire entrepreneur, best-selling author, and conservative political commentator, declared his 2024 candidacy last month, and was outspoken in his criticism of the looming indictment.

Republican candidates: Want to make a difference in the false narrative democrats are shoving down our throats? Come together and support President Trump. Put aside in party politics for the good of the country. You know this prosecution is an abomination to the rule of law and the Constitution. You want to defeat the evil ones that are destroying our way of life? Stand up for what is right even if it means standing with Donald Trump at this time. This is bigger than Trump, your political ambition, or the process. Democrats have waged war upon the very principles this country was founded. If you are serious about the country, you will stand with Trump on this. There is more than enough time for campaigning in the future. Fight for justice now because it will mean nothing if democrats prevail on this issue.

And, as expected, not a peep from Turtle and Pierre Delecto. And also notice how W, BJ, Billary, the Garlic Man, and Obie are keeping it on the down low, too.

De Santis is supporting Trump, or at least the rule of law, and two seconds after I heard him say he will not extradict Trump from Florida I saw a big Trump ad with the same old SAME OLD RE: De Santis re:SOCIAL SECURITY, ETC. ALL OUT OF CONTEXT OF COURSE. BUT WITH AN ELECTORATE CONTENT TO VOTE VIA SOUND BITES we are doomed, or about to be. Some idiot Trump supporter will fall for the bait and Justice will say we have another Jan. 6th from the Mega Republicans. I am not so much supporting Trump as I am supporting destroying the rule of law and the Constitution. (And if Trump urges his people to take to the barriers, beware! That is playing right into Justice's hands. Does Trump never LEARN?)

I think Most of the Republican Candidates spoke up within hours of Trump's indictment. There isn't much more they can do at this point. They are going to have to sit by and see this whole thing unfold. Trump not only has to deal with the Manhattan grand Jury (where he has zero chance of getting a fair deal), but he then has Georgia waiting in the Wings. He also is, at some point, going to be charged for having Classified Materials at his Home (Biden will be charged for the same thing when Hell freezes over). So, the Republican Candidates are going to need to tread carefully. They can not simply say they have decided not to run because, should Trump actually lose one of these Cases, he just might not be able to continue his run for another Term . A lot can happen in the next year and we still need to have an Election and throw OUT the entire Democrat Machine. I sure would not want to see us with NO Candidates who can beat Biden! So, NO, I don't think the Candidates should simply stand aside and let Trump be the only Candidate. That would be exactly what the Democrats would hope could happen!

Please excuse this second note. As #4 Stated, Trump (or MAGA) is still running a very Nasty Add about Governor DeSantis on Florida TV stations. IF The Former President wants DeSantis to back him (which he did immediately last evening) I suggest he take down those Ads. If he isn't willing to do that much, I don't think our Governor owes him any kind of help at all! It goes Both ways at times like this!

Asa "wait on the facts" Hutchinson can kiss his presidential ambitions goodbye, slim as they may have been.

Trump's GOPe rivals are all phony with their statements. They want MAGA votes while stabbing Trump in the back. If they were outraged by this injustice, they would withdraw their candidacy and back Trump. Trump may lose in the general election, but at least the Republic did not go down without a fight.

#4 and #6, those MAGA ads are all over TV here in NV too. They tell how DeSantis has tried to cut social security and he isn’t fit to run for President. They sound like democrat ads. Disgusting.
