So Los Angeles has a new mayor -- the far-left Karen Bass, and it hasn't taken long for changes to kick in, letting the police know she doesn't have their back.
Latest news is this diktat from above, as reported by Fox News:
The Los Angeles Police Department banned the Thin Blue Line flag from public areas within police departments this week over a complaint that the flag represented "violent, extremist views."

Conservatives can send in tens of thousands of complaints about something, and they are totally ignored.
But one lie-beral makes a single complaint, and lie-beral dictator-wanna-be bureaucrats have to immediately change everything to appease him/her/it.

There is nothing so evil a liberal wont advocate for it and try to pass laws mandating it.
Even so, I dont fly the blue lives flag. Its just more virtue signaling only its on our side this time. Sure cops lives matter. Most of them anyway. That should not need a flag.

If the Chief and his command staff had any cojones, they’d retire - after they told the mayor off.

The cop shop should just plain walk out the door in one swell foop, at the same time of the same day. Let the streets take care of themselves. Let justice return to it's source, the PEOPLE.

If you ban one special interest flag, ban all special interest flags. The claim can be made that there are extremists in every group that has their "flag". Ban the Rainbow flag because of the militant LGBTQ groups and see the reaction from the Mayor and the LGBTQ crowd.

Replace the banner with this sign:
In 2022, 323 police officers were shot in the line of duty, according to statistics maintained by the National Fraternal Order of Police. Please support the Blue. Our lives matter, too.

In Boise a coffee shop, Big City Blue, was forced to leave the BSU campus because it was owned by a girlfriend of a former police officer. An officer who was confined to a wheel chair due to an on-the-job injury.

Sgt. Joe Friday: "This is the city, Los Angeles California. I used to work here. I was a cop. Then, the democrats took over and supported criminals over the police. I moved to Texas where insanity is not tolerated."

Anyone who doesn't leave this state kind of earns what they have to live with. This ridiculous nonsense that cops cannot be proud or say their lives matter too has got to stop. What I find interesting is this flag doesn't just represent white cops, it also represents minority cops as well. Way to not have their back Mayor.

The new MLK statue in Boston offends me as it represents violent, extremist views. Take it down immediately.

Not for one minute do I believe that far-left Karen Bass received even one single complaint about the Thin Blue Line flag. Like most liars, she has a sorcerer's bag full of such lies.

Does he disallow BLM ( for whom racist, bigoted, oppressive AND violent fits like a glove) flags - I doubt it. Then I would have no objection.

Historically, what usually happens right after you take down your flag? 1) Everybody surrenders and goes to POW camps. 2) Everybody dies. What's it going to be, LA?

Let's step back a moment...WHY...does a change such as this need to be made...who benefits from this dictate?...certainly not the police force...seems the democrats are cozying up to the gender confused and blackist community...or is it the hispanic illegals they are trying to appease....those illegal votes have to be coddled....

I believe Police Chief's are generally politically appointed while County Sheriff's are elected. The contrast in LEO leader results has been clear on occasion with politically toady LAPD Chief statements/actions like this bonehead move. Meanwhile the responsible-to-the-people LA County SherIff gives the people straight talk recently stating, e.g. These days we in law enforcement cannot always protect you in time so you need to protect yourselves first.

As a former naval officer and retired LEO, I'm not in favor of altering the American flag, whether it is for some foolish "pride" event or to show support for a worthy cause. The Thin Blue Line outfit and those who support it should have their own flag.
