The left’s mask slips on brazen Trump bias

Sam Harris deserves our gratitude. With dazzling honesty, the liberal atheist public intellectual from LA has said out loud what we all knew but which his ilk have blurred for the past two years: Once you decide Donald Trump is the second coming of Adolf Hitler, then anything is legitimate to stop him — and, yes, everything illegitimate was done to stop him in 2020, and it was “warranted.”

Comments:

This is a question I've been posing to friends who argue that Trump is Hitler, existential threat, etc. -- If anyone truly believes he is that bad, would they hesitate to skew coverage in the press or stuff ballot boxes?

"Trump bias"?? How about complete, uncontrollable, insane Trump hatred? Trump Derangement Syndrome is a real mental condition, and huge numbers of the media are reveling in it. They love it, they wallow in it, they swim in it, and they brag about it. And anyone who somehow is considered a "public intellectual".....isn't.

Devine nails it. Again! We must detail and publish and address this vicious Democrat propaganda which has brain washed half our population and destroyed most of a free press.

If I have been reading the news correctly, it is Joe Biden who is the reincarnation of Adolf Hitler as evidenced by his hiring 87,000 storm troopers to wring every penny he can get out of the middle class.

It will be hunting season in D.C. when Trump wins again. Trump has been taking notes and names since 2016. Trump's plan isn't to just drain the swamp this time, it's to destroy it. I hope he takes a scorched earth approach.

The left is moving so far to the dictatorial/communist manifesto that it will soon be ok to just kill those they disagree with. The ends always justify the means for these people! We are headed into very dangerous water! Keep your powder dry and well stocked!!!

This is essentially “The Ends Justify The Means” mantra that permeates Democrat thought and policies. THIS is what “justifies” Progressives’ pro-abortion policies, support for Biden illegal immigrant open borders, and “cancel culture & censorship : the demonization of ALL opposing political opinion via “the OPINION is settled” gambit, with enthusiastic support by media, BECAUSE IT’S BAD for our narratives. This HItlerization of everything opposed to progressive thought, and over-the-top RAIDS by Biden-sympathetic agencies is serving the Democrats well in the media, BUT AMERICANS HATE IT. November is not THAT fair away.

If Trump is so incredibly corrupt, why has every single investigation of him and his annual IRS audits turned up nothing?

He's not an intellectual in my way of thinking. Say what you want but Trump's presidency was very good for the people. Biden's presidency is just the opposite. Trump was a very competent President. Biden is a very incompetent president. Obama called Biden a f**k-up. Harris should be in the mix of CNN and MSNBC. That's his speed. He also appears to be a weenie. If you judge everyone by their personal manner, instead of their actions, you're not a serious person. Trump's a New Yorker, kind of loud and a bit obnoxious sometimes. Look and DeNiro and Alec Baldwin, New Yorkers who are obnoxious and not nearly as smart as Trump.

Chelsea Clinton claimed during a recent interview that her family was “the reason that Fox News was created,” arguing that the network’s founder Rupert Murdoch had seen an opportunity and a market for attacks against them. Clinton and her mother, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, spoke with entertainment magazine Variety about their new Apple TV+ venture, “Gutsy,” in a wide-ranging feature interview that was published on Tuesday, and the topic eventually turned to Fox News. “Your family was the first great target of Fox News’ approach,” the interviewer prompted.

The White House is preparing for Janet Yellen to leave her post as Treasury Secretary as soon as November as Americans rank the economy as one of their biggest concerns with just weeks until Election Day. Her potential departure is in the early stages and would come after the 2022 midterms, people familiar with the matter told Axios, and no decision has been made on a replacement. Yellen would be the most consequential exit from President Joe Biden's White House so far, especially as the nation grapples with record-high inflation and gas prices and classically defined recession with two straight quarters of negative GDP growth.

John Fetterman is ahead of GOP nominee Mehmet Oz in the race for Senate, with Democratic state Attorney General Josh Shapiro leading Republican state Sen. Doug Mastriano by double digits in the gubernatorial showdown. Fetterman tops Oz, the cardiac surgeon and celebrity doctor, 51%-44% among those likely to vote in the general election, according to a Marist College Poll in Pennsylvania conducted Sept. 19-22 and released on Tuesday. Among a wider pool of all registered voters, the survey indicates Fetterman with a 10-point 51%-41% lead

Something really strange just happened. On Monday, large underwater “explosions” were detected in the precise areas of the sea where the Nord Stream pipeline system is now leaking. In fact, the explosions were so large that they actually registered on the Richter scale. If someone wanted to purposely damage the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 pipelines, very large explosions would be needed because those pipelines are extremely thick. So it appears that this was a deliberate act of sabotage, and that is what many European officials are now alleging. But if that is the case, who was behind it?

Sen. Joe Manchin’s humiliation was brought to completion on Tuesday after his Democrat-negotiated permitting reform deal officially fell through. Per RedState’s previous reporting, Manchin stabbed Republicans in the back during the summer, waiting until the CHIPS Act passed before doing an about-face on a big-spending reconciliation bill full of “climate change” payoffs. The West Virginia senator had supposedly struck a deal whereby he would pass the falsely named Inflation Reduction Act in exchange for Democrat support for permitting reform for oil and gas projects.

Glenn Kessler, the Post's fact-checker, characterized Murray's tweet as a "'Mediscare' attack" to win over senior voters. "Don’t worry, seniors: There is no such plan," Kessler assured elderly readers.
