Animal Rebellion protesters have poured milk on to shop floors, displays and products across the country, including Harrods. The group co-ordinated the action in stores like Waitrose, Whole Foods and Marks and Spencer in London, Manchester, Norwich and Edinburgh just before 12pm on Saturday. Footage shows several protesters pouring milk, taken from the shelves, onto display cabinets in Harrods' food hall in Knightsbridge. Another group was filmed emptying milk bottles onto the floor and across a table laden with cheeses in Fortnum and Mason in Piccadilly.

#1's suggestion worked great for my sister. She poured milk out every day at lunch until Mom poured it on her head. That stopped that. Of course my sister was less than a year old and in a high chair, much more mature than the "protestors" in this story

They like to glue themselves to things, so glue they're faces to something, then yank it off. Gorilla glue works well. Maybe some industrial strength adhesive.

I can't conjure up any sympathy for Whole Foods but if you don't like a place don't shop there. The way things are going south in Britain, those immature fools will wish they had that milk back in a few months, along with a few sticks to burn for heat.

Gov. Brian Kemp of Georgia and Stacey Abrams, the Democrat he narrowly beat in 2018 who is challenging him again in 2022, have spent the last four years preparing for a rematch. Monday night’s debate in Atlanta, the lone time during this year’s campaign for Georgia governor that the candidates were scheduled to appear onstage together, was a demonstration of the political animus the two have had toward each other. Both Mr. Kemp and Ms. Abrams came versed in the other’s record — Ms. Abrams on Mr. Kemp’s tenure as governor (and, before that,

Fulton County’s district attorney will pick a special grand jury Monday to investigate allegations former President Donald Trump criminally interfered with Georgia’s elections in 2020. The grand jury is an unusual kind of one because it doesn’t indict, it just investigates. It will be investigating the now-infamous phone call between Trump and Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger. “So look, all I want to do is just, I want to find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have, because we won the state,” Trump said during that call to Raffensperger.

DECATUR, Ga. (CBS46) - A DeKalb County commission candidate is being criticized for using what some are calling a racially-insensitive phrase. It’s costing her a major endorsement just weeks before the primary. “It’s hard right now to even find law enforcement. One of my clients -- I’m actually doing an American Rescue Plan project in a municipality. Prior to the ‘racial uprisings,’ they would get roughly about a hundred applications,” said Democratic candidate Michelle Long Spears on April 19 at a forum.
