LONDON (Reuters) - The Kremlin dismissed a remark by U.S. President Joe Biden on Saturday that Vladimir Putin "cannot remain in power," saying it was up to Russians to choose their own president. Asked about Biden's comment, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told Reuters: "That's not for Biden to decide. The president of Russia is elected by Russians." A White House official said Biden, who was speaking in Warsaw, had not been calling for "regime change" in Russia but his point was that "Putin cannot be allowed to exercise power over his neighbors or the region".

Comments:

Unlike the USA where the Dominion voting machines determine who is in power.

Agree with OP. It's apparently not for American voters to decide who is our President, either.

Putin controls the vote in Russia, there hasn't been a fair election there since the overthrow of the old USSR. Here we had our election stolen in pretty much the same way, 'write-in-votes.' Machine can only do so much it was the MILLIONS of copied write in votes that cheated for the potted plant. Let's take putin and biden in a room with mad dogs they're both criminals and putin is a murderer.

As a long-understood matter of family honor, you might insult your brother, but you will not stand by if your neighbor does it. Threatening their leader will only enrage Russians to fight.

What I have noticed, Putin has not called Joe Biden out as a dementia fool and he never called for the U.S. to replace him. Joe may have opened pandora's box when he called for Putin to be replaced. If I was Putin, I would call for the U.S. to replace Joe every chance he gets.

Every time Biden opens his pie hole someone has to go back and make excuses for what he stupidly says. Putin screwed up big time in Russia IMO, but Biden is doing a terrible job every day in America, and may get us into a world war with his stupid remarks and gaffes,

Biden’s speech today at the Royal Palace in Warsaw turned out to be a big European history lesson yelled to an audience by Biden by way of his trusty teleprompter and not much more. Using derogatory terms and words to call out foreign leaders personally never really works out, especially when the specific foreign leader controls a big stockpile of strategic and tactical nuclear weapons. Ukraine is always going to live next door to Russia, and Russia is going to have to live next door to Ukraine, so Russia and Ukraine should reach a peace deal that both countries can live with, before the infrastructure in Ukraine is all destroyed.

A fight directly between Putin and brandon should settle things. They both have this thing for talking and acting macho. Whoever loses must stand before the winner's firing squad, and his entire administration must do prison time from 10 years to life.

Former Georgia Republican Senator David Perdue launched his bid for governor of Georgia on Monday, setting up a high-stakes primary challenge against incumbent Republican Governor Brian Kemp. Perdue's decision comes just days after Democrat Stacey Abrams announced her campaign for governor, her second effort, after she lost to Kemp in 2018. Perdue's website went live late Sunday night and encouraged supporters to "join our team to stop Stacey Abrams." In his announcement video on Monday, Perdue attacked Abrams and accused Kemp and Republican Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger of dividing the GOP in Georgia.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) -The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is set on Tuesday to recommend fully vaccinated Americans wear masks indoors in at least some instances, as the more highly transmissible Delta variant of the coronavirus has led to a surge in infections, sources said. That would mark a reversal of the CDC's announcement in May that prompted millions of vaccinated Americans to shed their face coverings. The CDC will announce revised mask guidance but the specifics of when the agency will recommend fully vaccinated Americans wear masks indoors are not fully clear, the sources said.

He came, he saw, he confused. Joe Biden’s call-to-arms speech in Poland was long on soaring rhetoric about the virtues of democracy but woefully short on what more the West will do to help Ukraine defeat the Russian invasion. But by the time he got to the finish, most of that was forgotten. What mattered most and what will be remembered for a long time was a single line the president of the United States said about the president of Russia: “For God’s sake, this man cannot remain in power.”(Snip)Maybe the idea just popped into Biden’s addled brain and he added it on the fly.

Joe Biden’s trip overseas has been a disaster! Biden has dramatically escalated his rhetoric against Vladimir Putin, calling for the Russian leader to be removed because of his brutal invasion of Ukraine. “For God’s sake, this man cannot remain in power,” Biden’s said at the very end of a speech in Poland’s capital that served as the capstone on a four-day trip to Europe. Biden has frequently talked about ensuring that the Kremlin’s now two-month invasion becomes a “strategic failure” for Putin and has described the Russian leader as a “war criminal.” But until his remarks in Warsaw, the American leader had not said that Putin should not run Russia.

Lately, when we think about what’s happening to America’s military under Biden, we’ve been focusing on the Pentagon’s obsessions with race, LGBTQ+++ issues (especially transgenderism), women’s rights, and political “wrong think” (i.e., conservativism). That obsession has consistently put progressive social policy ahead of military cohesion and readiness. However, Jim Webb, who was a Marine infantry officer while in Vietnam, then the Navy secretary under Ronald Reagan and, lastly, a Virginia senator during the Obama years, has written an op-ed about a different concern: The potentially damaging, purely operational changes Marine commandment Gen. David Berger intends to impose on the Corps.
