Gun Control's Endgame: No Guns For Anyone

Ever been out in the wilderness without a gun? Pretty scary. When seconds count, help is minutes away, etc.

My only question is, are we dealing with certifiable idiots here? Or are we dealing with someone's useful idiots?

For years English police did not carry guns. That might have been a measure to prevent the police from taking over the country. They have learned that police can protect the government along with the citizens. Police enforce the law and are subject to criminals shooting them to prevent incarceration. It also protects against criminals that barricade themselves and shoot at the general public. In every case of mass shooting the shooter had a mental problem. In some cases those with a mental problem were given guns. It is not the guns, it is the people with mental problems. Guns are necessary to protect from a tyrannical government per the 2nd Amendment.

Prior to going in the Army and a tour of duty in Vietnam, as a city kid, I had never fired or even held a weapon in my life. The left thinking they can outright ban guns is short sighted and will result in the deaths of tens of thousands of innocent people. Criminals will always find a way to obtain guns and as the current headlines point out, they won't hesitate to use them. The solution to rampant gun violence is for all private citizens to be armed, provided they aren't felons to begin with.

Irrational nutcases with limited ability to think logically imagine that "no guns" means "no strife, no violence". Nope. Humans started killing each other with rocks, then sticks. Then sticks with pointed rocks tied to the end. Then smaller sticks with pointed rocks on the end propelled by an atlatl throwing stick. Then propelled by a bow. Then we found copper....so we had copper edge axes for felling trees....which did a great job of felling enemies, too. Then bronze knives. Then BIGGER bronze knives called swords. Then iron swords. Then steel swords and steel tipped arrows. Finally gunpowder propelled projectiles, one shot per minute. Then three shots per minute, then a five round bolt action, then an 8 round magazine semiautomatic rifle (WW2 Garand), and now ubiquitous semiauto handguns and rifles. What was the ONE constant in this 10,000 year journey? Some humans WILL kill other humans to take their 'stuff', their food, their clothing, their women, their weapons. This WILL HAPPEN as long as there are humans. Eliminate guns (impossible, but let's pretend) and we'll be back to swords and bows and arrows. Nothing about human nature will change. Idiots cannot grasp the fundamentals human behavior...so they imagine Communism working (it cannot) and that removing guns eliminates violence....IT DOESN'T. Fevered, limited minds have foolish goals.

Gabby Giffords is a vile human being. Not a nice thing to say, but she has earned it many times over. She is also a petty tyrant who violated her oath, and she is proud of that, so she is also a liar. When she says NO guns, she means for the rest of us. Her crowd of the new blueshirts will be heavily armed with any guns they want. And so will criminals. Others will make do with knives, rocks, metal poles, acid, mobs, whatever they need to hurt or destroy us. Gabby Giffords is fine with that, as long as innocent law-abiding citizens are completely disarmed. THAT is why she and her ilk are scum.
