Happy Monday, dear Kruiser Morning Briefing friends. (Snip) Since January 2009, the blame for most violence against law enforcement in the United States can be laid at the feet of His High Holiness the Lightbringer Barack Obama. While it's true that the Democrats frequently had a fraught relationship with the law and those who enforce it before then, Obama's presidency retrofitted the party's DNA with hatred of all cops.
In any police/civilian conflict, Obama was never presidential or circumspect in his responses. His default was always to jump to conclusions before getting any facts and assume the worst about law enforcement and side with the lawbreakers.

Normally, the Supreme Court hears cases that deal with matters of law.
But on Tuesday, Jan. 13, the justices will also be dealing with basic science. Not only that, they’ll be debating fundamental truth, as I can personally testify.
The stakes couldn’t be higher in the case, West Virginia v. B.P.J. The specific question facing the court is simple: Should transgender boys be allowed to compete on girls’ sports teams? But you can’t really answer this question without asking a more important one: Can a young boy or a girl actually change genders?
I asked this question myself, starting at age 12. I gave the wrong answer. I was

A cluster of New York Democrats whose offices cover New York City, state, and federal government have come out with near-identical statements on X condemning a protest that took place in New York City on January 8, 2026. The protest featured a group of approximately 200 pro-Palestinian agitators chanting pro-Hamas slogans outside a New York City synagogue.
New York State Attorney General Letitia James wrote:
Hamas is a terrorist organization.
We do not support terrorists.
Period.
Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY-14) chimed in with:

Every Democratic elected official in Minnesota is singing the same tune: ICE is a threat to normal citizens, there is no reason for ICE to be here, ICE is doing no good, ICE is creating chaos–“chaos” is the universal term–ICE is the problem. Completely lost is any understanding of ICE’s mission. Alpha News and Townhall published what is apparently cellphone footage showing up close and personal how Renee Nicole Good, a terroristic leftist activist radicalized by other rioters, deliberately rammed her car straight into an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer standing in front of the vehicle as he told her to get out of the car. The organization that oversees the Nobel Peace Prize is throwing cold water on talk of Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado giving her recent award to President Donald Trump.
Once the Nobel Peace Prize is announced, it can’t be revoked, transferred or shared with others, the Norwegian Nobel Institute said in a short statement on Friday.
“The decision is final and stands for all time,” it said.
The statement comes after Machado said she’d like to give or share the prize with Trump, who oversaw the successful U.S. operation to capture authoritarian Venezuelan president Nicolás Maduro. He is facing drug trafficking charges in New York.
