"Dilbert" creator Scott Adams died Tuesday at the age of 68 after a battle with prostate cancer.
Reports broke Monday that Adams had entered hospice care and was declining at a rapid pace. As of press time, his X account was broadcasting a live video of his friends mourning his death.
Adams was most well-known for his cartoon comic strip "Dilbert", but later became a successful podcaster, hosting "Coffee with Scott Adams." He was a vocal supporter of President Donald Trump.
Prior to his death, Adams embraced Christianity.

RIP, Mr. Adams. You provided many years of laughs for millions of us who worked in engineeing office and saw much of the same silliness as you saw.
Thank you, and I'll send a prayer for your soul.

One of my favorites. You'll enjoy this, especially if you are an engineer.

I have been following his journey these past few months. I know he said he did not have much time left a few weeks ago but he was hoping it might be a few months. This is bittersweet in that you don't want to lose someone you love but you also don't want them living in pain and a drug stupor. We have all been touched by cancer taking friends and family. There seems to be so much cancer taking lives. Even with the advancements that have been made. There are so many different kinds of cancer doing different horrible things to the human body. It's hard to believe that there can be one fix for this dreadful disease. But I am no research scientist. Lord welcome him home and be with his family and friends who loved him.

RIP. Condolences to the family. Dilbert was one of my top favorites. I had the 365 day desk calendars for years.

I read that he was planning to "convert to Christianity" soon. I sure hope and pray he didn't wait too late.
Accept Jesus NOW because NO ONE is promised the next breath!

I used to work at a calendar kiosk in the mall. The Dilbert calendar was always a popular one. May you rest in peace, Scott. I loved your sense of humor.

Rest in Peace, Mr. Adams.
You helped me maintain some semblance of sanity surrounded by your cartoons - pinned to my felt-clad cubical walls, and later, as a traveling trainer - your exquisite daily podcast propelling that treadmill. I had just started listening again in the past days and, like others, bracing for this news.

I read many of Scott's comic strips with smiles and laughter. I followed Scott's final months and his videos describing his disease.
I'll miss his dry humor and depictions of office life. He certainly knew about difficult-to-work-for bosses. RIP, Scott.

Very sad. An inspired cartoonist. My favorite character was Wally. Completely useless and with an ever present coffee cup.

Sad day, Scott Adams was an incredibly talented, clever and creative writer and cartoonist. His timeless humor brought many smiles and laughter. He will be missed, but his incredible sense of humor will live on forever.
And typical, left garbage People magazine is referring to him as "disgraced Dilbert creator." If disgraced means being over the target to whiny snowflakes, and refusing to be bullied by them, I feel certain Scott would wear that description as a badge of honor.
RIP Scott. Say hello to Rush and Charlie for us. Well done, good and faithful servant.

My wife made Dilbert calendars a staple for me at Christmas time for the last 20 years of my IT career. Those calendars and his comic strips adorned the cubicles of everyone in our development team - and we all had our share of "pointy-haired bosses" over the years.
He will be missed - R.I.P.
