Eleven House Democrats jumped party lines to vote with their Republican counterparts in a bid to overturn regulations pushed during former President Joe Bidenâs tenure.
According to Fox News, the House of Representatives voted 226-197 to overturn Biden-era regulations effectively aimed at restricting how strong shower heads could be.
Federal law already caps how much water a shower head is allowed to emit. During the Biden administration, regulators took a broader view of that rule. They concluded that showers equipped with multiple nozzles had to be treated as a single unit, meaning the total water flow across all heads could not exceed the legal maximum.

Next they'll be voting on colors for the toilet rooms.

Liberals love to restrict comfort! Holding back on water is one of their tools.
A few years ago I had to replace my washing machine. I said, give me the top loader that uses the most water. I spent time in France and had to wash clothes in the European version, so I knew where they were heading with it.

I remember reading in American History books how George Washington, John Adams, Alexander Hamilton and Benjamin Franklin all agreed this new Country they had worked so hard to create had to dedicate itself to limiting the amount of water that could be sprayed from shower nozzles used by future citizens. Washington himself emotionally stated: "I did not waste my Christmas crossing the Delaware River just so water can go down the drain unregulated!!"

What a stupid rule. It's not as annoying as not having enough water to flush the toilet but it's right up there and smells like California lunacy. It's easy to remove the restrictor from the shower head or simply take a longer shower if you like. In their zeal to "save water" the moron politicians did not realize that water does not disappear, it's naturally recycled. Some shower heads also have that silly temperature control because they believe that the average person can't help but burn himself.

To be honest I'm surprised the Diaper Joe administration and all Democrats, in the name of saving the planet, didn't outlaw toilet paper and required dried autumn leaves as the replacement.

While this is a win, it reinforces that fact that there' nothing the Democrats won't do to make life tougher and less enjoyable? Shower heads?

I'm betting that the bidens and obamas have the best shower heads money can buy in their multiple mansions. They could probably produce electricity from their showers.

This apparently only affects multiple head showers. Single head showers are still apparently limited by federal law.
Of course, a sharp drill bit will fix those idiotic federal restrictions in a few seconds, applied correctly.
The government has NO BUSINESS regulating water flow in ANY appliance. Let people choose, it's called FREEDOM.

Why not go after golf courses, which emit the equivalent to a thousand home showers?

They'll use that vote in the mid-terms to show their constituents just how "balanced" they are in "working together" to get results for the American people. All the while, they vote for hard-left, Democrat pet-projects, like "transgender" rights, and for Illegals getting Medicaid, Social Security, or other government "handouts."

Good on the shower heads. Now, lets look at gas cans that can pour gas in a quick, convenient manner. I'd pay extra for a 1960 era gas can. I made an unsafe mess of filling the snow blower yesterday after I threw the complex legally compliant nozzle aside and tried to pour directly from the can. .

There are lots of videos showing how to remove/disable the water restrictor on a shower head. You can buy different levels of restriction but it comes with pretty much the slowest.
There is also a restrictor on the inlet of a toilet that fills the tank. All it does is make it take longer to fill the tank which is a real nuisance for the smaller tanks where you have to flush numerous times. Waiting around 2 minutes for each tank fill is annoying. But the smaller tanks are still a problem. In my new house the toilet tanks are made so standard flushers from hardware store won't fit. So I am (so far at least) stuck with a flusher that doesn't hold at all. Not even for 1 second. You have to hold it for a full ten seconds to empty the way too small tank. If you let go at any time it stops.
