Dem Senators Now Fear Fallout of 'No Kings' Absurdity

The "No Kings" weekend of absurdity has ended, and many of us are still pointing and laughing at videos of aging Boomer hippies and Gen Z nitwits, both of which groups are shrieking incoherently about "tyranny" when in a real tyranny they would not be allowed to shriek incoherently about "tyranny." A casual read through history reveals very clearly, after all, that real tyrants aren't really big on free speech. You can't expect any intellectual consistency from these people, after all. But now the raging of the nitwits has some Democrat Senators worried about holding the line in the ongoing Schumer Shutdown - worried, not about Republicans,

I just watched a creature named Maddow (of uncertain humanity) wax elegiac about the No Kings protest. Maddow described the protests as the biggest and best organized ever in the U.S., but ignored the fact that the protests were non sensical, childish, and worthless. I hope that some journalists are motivated to follow the money. I want to know who paid for professional signage, transportation, p.r., meals and refreshments, and costumes. Who, besides Fox, investigate?? And if foreigners paid the bills as above, does that constitute campaign law violations, since the off year elections are nigh??

"Democrats have, as a party, embraced the nutcase left - now they face the consequences." Anyone noticing a pattern here? The dems NEED the Left to get the votes and to show up at protests but the Left and their agenda has become toxic to most Americans. So the dems walk a tightrope between keeping the Left in the party but keeping the worst of the Left's agenda, which repels most Americans, incomplete. But each cycle of elections weakens the pragmatists in the dem party and angers the Leftists when they don't get what they want. Consider that Biden was elected to hold off Sanders. Then, a bunch of Leftist goals got green lighted, and failed miserably. The dem leadership knew they were in political (voting) crisis. The energized Left wanted even more, unconcerned with political realities. Now the Leftist children are in charge of the dem household. The funny thing is, while Trump is essential to the Republican rebirth, the irrational hatred of Trump by some of those in the middle is keeping the real damage to dems minimized. In 2028, with Trump off the ballot, there is a good possibility that the dem/Left collapse will be significantly worse. It will be a battle of ideas and things that work and Trump will not be front and center to hate on. The big question is, if the Left abandons the dem party, what will they do? Their irrationality prevents them from being a well organized political force. The dem party, without the Left is politically powerless. Will some more Centrist Republicans (RINOs) break away to join the remnants of the dem party? Would we end up governed by a non majority elected body (REPUBLICANS 45%, Centrists 25%, Leftists 30%). Could anything get done by such a group? The "No Kings" flop is more of the bad political theater we have seen since Trump won in 2024. Half of the people in the dem party are embarrassed that their party can't seem to get ANYTHING done well and come off looking stupid EVERY TIME. Who is going to say, "Sign me up for the STUPID party!"?

The biggest disappointment for the crazy left is that were no huge riots and arrests. They wanted that to happen for the media cameras who would have played it over and over constantly, blaming Trump and conservatives. But...OOPS, it showed how nuts those people really are. What do you do with a used frog suit?

There is a pattern here of democrats doing really stupid things and then realizing when it's too late how stupid it was. Running kamala Harris and Tim Walz was one of those things. Cheating in 2020 to put a semi-literate vegetable and his family into the White House was another. Opening up our borders and not only permitting but actually flying in at our expense millions of criminals and mental patients from around the world to create utter havoc was the most expensive thus far. Stay tuned, folks, they have a lot more in store for you.

The Democrats have been trying to blame President Donald Trump and the Republicans for the government shutdown. The Dems were hoping that the "No Kings" protests would provide them with some ballast for their fight against Trump. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) was hoping that he would appease the radical leftist base so he could hold onto his seat. The problem with that? The ridiculous "No Kings" exercise is now over, and we still have no kings. All this did was expose how the Democrats were focused on something that isn't real, versus the real issue of opening the government and doing something for the American people.

Like many Americans, I watched with interest as the “No Kings” spectacle unfolded. It was rather like a box of Monty Python's chocolates. I had no idea what I was going to get, but I was pretty sure I wasn't going to like it much. In this, at least, I was not disappointed. So, what, exactly, did this crunchy frog of a “No Kings” thing accomplish? We haven’t had any kings since the day we declared our independence. And before I had my coffee made this morning, I was deeply concerned, so I checked. Turns out, we still don’t.

The Democrats (and their socialist and Communist allies) mounted “no kings” protests yesterday, just as they did in July. The July protests accomplished absolutely nothing, and yesterday’s will be no different. The New York Times kept up a brave front, headlining “‘No More Trump!’: Protesters Denouncing the President Unite Across the Country.” But in fact, the protests were mostly the occasion for epic trolling. We could consider this a supplement to yesterday’s Week In Pictures:

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — A San Antonio Church and residents of several northside neighborhoods were left to deal with damages left by “No Kings” related vandals in the aftermath of the protest in the Alamo City. The vandals targeted residential homes, traffic signs, highway overpasses, and one of the city’s largest churches. At the Community Bible Church (CBC), where weekly attendance is estimated at over 15,000 worshipers, vandals left messages spray-painted on the church grounds and building that read, “Jesus wants TRUMP gone!” and “No King but God”. CBC Pastor Ed Newton posted images of the vandalism and offered commentary in an Instagram social media post on Saturday.

WASHINGTON - The United States announced Sunday another strike against what it called a drug-running boat, this time attacking an alleged Colombian leftist rebel vessel in an apparent expansion of a US military operation off the coasts of South America. Word of the attack from Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth came as President Donald Trump said the United States is halting financial aid to Colombia and will announce tariffs against it on Monday. The United States has had warships deployed in the Caribbean off Venezuela since August and has attacked at least six boats it said were running drugs toward the United States, killing at least 27 people so far.

The Gaza peace deal has rightly been characterized as tenuous at best — largely because Hamas seemingly wouldn't know honoring a commitment if it smacked the terrorist outfit upside the head. Speaking of which... On Saturday, the U.S. State Department issued an urgent bulletin, warning of an imminent Hamas attack on the people of Gaza and also warning that the "United States and the other guarantors" would take steps to protect Gazans and uphold the "integrity of the ceasefire." Now, the IDF has indeed responded to multiple Hamas violations of the ceasefire. An Israeli military official confirmed the strikes to Fox News on Sunday,

After a U.S.-led campaign, the United Nations has postponed a vote on a proposal to impose the world’s first global carbon tax on shipping, delaying the decision by one year. The rule was expected to come up for a vote this week as part of the U.N. International Maritime Organization’s (IMO) "Net-Zero Framework." But a majority of member nations voted to defer it after failing to reach consensus amid U.S. opposition. Backed by the European Union and Brazil, the plan seeks to raise billions from carriers that exceed new emissions limits, channeling the revenue toward climate adaptation and clean-fuel projects in developing nations. Washington and Riyadh led the opposition.
