When the leftist, progressive and socialist Democrats claim that they are out to save “our democracy” what they are really talking about saving is the leftist Democrat political agenda.

Great article with one major quibble. The opposition is the DEMOCRAT Party, not the democratic party. There is NOTHING democratic about the democrats!! They are attempting to co-opt yet another common word and give it their own definition. We shouldn't let them get away with it.

It’s not fully accurate to say we don’t like the Democratic Party. We also don’t respect them and consider it challenging to find one redeeming quality in their modern, political platform. Their disparate constituents metaphorically comprise the Star Wars bar scene, and there is nothing democratic about their putrid pustule of a party.

The Democrat Party. A "democratic" party wouldn't have to import and register illegal aliens to win elections. It also wouldn't field two Presidential candidates in a row who didn't prevail in its presidential primaries.

If the grievances fueling the dem party were real, they might have a basis to pursue change. The problem is, it's all faked up. Consider "No Kings" where supposedly millions gathered to protest against an "authoritarian" government but no government action was taken against them. Consider a "dictatorial" President who wins most of his cases in court, which means he is acting in accordance with LAW which he, as Chief Executive, is charged to enforce. When he does lose in court, he either stops his actions or finds workarounds. Consider illegal immigration that "couldn't" be stopped by Bidet without changes to law but was accomplished by Trump within 2 months working in the existing legal framework. The list is endless and all the Left's issues end in absurdity. The outcome of Bidet's term in office also shows that, when given the opportunity to "do things right", the Left accomplishes almost nothing and instead creates chaos, corruption, and great financial, legal, and personal insecurity.

I'll tell you why I don't like the Democrat Party. When they get into power, they immediately come up with schemes to buy votes, and that always comes with a tax increase to pay for it. It began with SS through Medicare/Medicaid to Obongocare to Green New Deal. And everyone in Congress shares in the honey and got rich, while we paid for all of it. Keep the government closed for all I care. What really frosts me is the Democrats insisting that they permanently extend that temporary Medicaid stuff. The Republicans better grow a pair and repeal Obamacare.

We refer to our nation as a republic because that is what it is--a representative republic. It is not, and never has been, a democracy. The designation has nothing whatsoever to do with a preference for one political over another.

Democracy is horrible. Rule by thug armies of low-IQ tax eaters incited to acts of violence by their puppet master elites using corporate media propaganda. Why should people who pay no taxes be allowed to vote themselves money from productive people.? No Participation Without Taxation. Democracy must be stamped out as thoroughly as socialism and Islam. FTA, the very last sentence - " What makes us doubt that will happen is the Democratic Party, as constructed, does not want what’s in the best interests of the country, but instead wants what’s in the best interest of its political power." This is the current state of play. While, the dim party cannot circle the drain and go down fast enough, the dims aren't going to go away just like that. Their uber-wealthy doners and influencers have other thoughts. We must be vigilant about what would replace the dim party and be prepared to oppose it rather urgently. Meanwhile, we need to keep the pubbies in line with the founding principles of our Republic.

I hate the Democrats becaue I feel they are traitors. Period. WHen they're in power they dont do much except steal, lie, participate in corruption, and create problems they then blame Republicns for. When they lose power they go ballistic and selectively enforce laws they 'feel' are right, regardless if they're illegal or if they are alredy on the books past SCOTUS review but don't promote their SJW agendas. BUt lately they are beyond the pale with their 'resistance' bull shite. They just hate Trump so much its fried their colective brains; the reason they hate him so much is NOT because he's a NAZI/KING/whaever they call him, its becaude he's exposed them for all the world to see. They dont give a F about the Americans who voted them in, they just want POWER and the ability to spend out tax dollars however they plase w/o any oversight, to censor/jail their opoonents, to control the media and force the public to bend to their will instead of being public servants. That's it really-Dems hear the words public servant and think it applies to US, not THEM.

We have no idea how the government shutdown, now in its fourth week and the second longest in history, will end, or how. But what is increasingly clear is how badly Democrats miscalculated on this one. Consider three bits of news from this week: First, the shutdown isn’t hurting Republicans. In fact, a Reuters/Ipsos poll showed that President Donald Trump’s approval rating has ticked up by two points to 42% since the shutdown started. Other polls find it unchanged. The Real Clear Politics average shows Trump’s disapproval at 52%, which is down a point from the day before the shutdown started.

Political violence has waxed and waned throughout U.S. history. Today, there’s a very clear upswing. But is it widely accepted? No. In fact, Americans overwhelmingly oppose using violence to achieve political goals, and mostly blame major political parties as equal threats to use violent tactics for the sake of political power, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows. A representative sample of Americans were asked: “Do you believe that using violence to achieve political goals is ever justified?” Respondents made clear they didn’t like violence by either party. Overall, only 9% of those taking the poll said violence for political goals was “always justified,”

The “moral equivalent of war” is often used to elevate an otherwise non-threatening event into an existential threat. But today, the U.S. and indeed, all of Western civilization, faces a very real existential threat, one equal to war: the global collapse of fertility and families. In country after country, the stark, awful news emerges on a nearly daily basis: birth rates are plunging as women disengage from traditional marriage and family life, and young men do the same. The U.S. is no exception. Last year, the U.S. fertility rate plunged to an all-time low of 1.6 children per woman, a rate roughly 24% below the 2.1 children required j

Those who follow the news might have noticed something different about the current government shutdown, which is now entering its third week. Namely, the lack of horror stories that usually accompany shutdowns. Anyone want to guess why that is? Consider what the news media were reporting when the government shut down for more than a month starting in late 2018 – the result of a fight over funding for the border wall. Then, the public was treated to headlines such as: “The Government Shutdown Is ‘Life And Death’

President Trump’s ongoing efforts to bring peace between Israel and the terrorist Hamas group in Gaza appeared to bear fruit last week with a deal to cease hostilities and to release remaining hostages and prisoners. But will American voters back Trump’s bold plan? The answer is a resounding yes, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows. After months of talks and arm-twisting, Trump was able to broker a tenuous deal that might serve as a pattern for future peace deals in the region. Knowing the outline of the deal as first presented, I&I/TIPP asked voters: “Do you support or oppose the Trump peace plan for Gaza,

It was quite predictable. Up until Oct. 1, Americans could reel in generous federal subsidies in exchange for buying an electric vehicle. A new EV or plug-in hybrid pulled down a $7,500 tax credit. A used EV or plug-in got $4,000. Now those subsidies are gone, thanks to the One Big Beautiful Bill signed by President Donald Trump on July 4, and EV sales are expected
