How James Carville Would ‘Save Democracy’

Original Article

It’s hardly a secret that the Democrats are in the midst of an existential crisis. They are leaderless, fractious, broke, and more unpopular with the voters than they have been in decades. Yet, as their antics have demonstrated during the first seven months of the second Trump administration, they don’t connect these calamities to their bad policies and worse execution. Instead, they attribute their ills to malevolent forces threatening “our democracy” and see themselves as its saviors. How will they rescue the republic? Former Clinton advisor James Carville laid out a blueprint last Wednesday.

The problem is that the Democrats have had control of the government and corrupted it. James's solution is to increase the corruption.

Carvile is too old, too comfortable, and too out of touch himself. Carvile '92 knew the economy was the issue and made sure to utter his favorite phrase, "It's the economy, stupid!" whenever discussing the election that year. Carville '24 thought an economy with elevated interest rates, rampant inflation, and job creation only for immigrants -- and often at the expense of Americans -- was doing great. It's said that the aged often suffer from cognitive dissonance. Here's a case study...

He still won't admit that the democrats problems are not only their take over by the communist party but also their policies, their sick agenda. That has never entered Carville's sick demented mind.

We have a representative constitutional republic - not a democracy. Several of the Founders believed democracy meant mob rule with no recourse or protection for those in the minority. Clearly that is not our system of government. So, when you hear “our democracy” think "one-party rule". In case you were wondering exactly what that means, remember some of what one-party rule did to us during covid: • a callous disregard for sick/dying elderly and their families • changing the definition of vaccine to allow injection makers to avoid liability • churches were shut down, but strip clubs that served food were open • mandatory covid testing and shots for us but none for millions of unvetted illegals • demeaning and persecuting medical professionals who disagreed with their narratives • denying the injection damaged the hearts of our some of our boys • forced injections denying most exemptions and immunity of those who had covid • forced masking • on-line social media censorship • made-up social distancing rules • news media censorship • paying hospitals extra for every covid diagnosis or death • restrictions on elective medical procedures • restrictions on what we bought and where – including garden seeds in MI • restrictions on where you could socialize without their approval (vax card) • restrictions on outdoor activities - no fresh air or sunshine for you! • schools were shut down; students without a computer or the internet at home were left behind • the shut-down of mom-and-pop businesses • the expansion of government via the healthcare portal • vacating of our First Amendment rights Then there was the hypocrisy - telling us to deny ourselves while behind closed doors or out of the public eye, they indulged themselves. Not to mention the lies we heard over, over, and over. Congress appropriated billions to “help small business” that was gobbled up by big business, thieves, and universities with billion dollar endowments, but not one dime for the American people until Trump intervened. Carville and others are letting us know right now they will do anything to acquire power and plan to rule with an irreversible iron fist. Their next implementation of "our democracy" will destroy the republic. IMHO, they've already shown us they are. Remember what you experienced, tell your kids and grandkids. Vote accordingly.

Will Newsom Rig His Redistricting Referendum? 6 replies
Posted by gaboy 8/18/2025 1:13:31 AM Post Reply
California Gov. Gavin Newsom has cast himself as a defender of democracy in the gerrymandering war that erupted after Texas Democrats fled the Lone Star State in a futile attempt to kill a GOP redistricting plan. This is obviously part of an ongoing effort to bolster his national profile ahead of a probable presidential run, but it has forced him to adopt an Orwellian position on redistricting. Newsom is telling Golden State voters that, to save democracy from Republicans, they must allow him to usurp the power of a redistricting commission they voted to create in a 2010 ballot initiative.

I just recorded Sean Spicer's show, and as he always does with his panel, he asked for a winner of the week and a loser. For the latter, I picked Gavin Newsom, who is on a losing streak. As he flails around, looking for a way to gain more traction in the race to become the Democrats' nominee for president, Newsom is trying on a Donald Trump skin suit to see if that will work. Hey! Trump is winning, so why not emulate his style? (Snip for X post) Ah, Gavin, this is pathetic. When Pete Buttigieg, Mr. Vanilla, is beating you in the race to become president

It wasn’t supposed to be like this. A big, explosive controversy that’s impossible to ignore! A jaw-dropping confession that outraged his corporate bosses! Or maybe he’d finally suffer the consequences of speaking “truth to power” — and pay the ultimate price for refusing to back down! That’s how “The Howard Stern Show” was supposed to end. This November marks the 100th anniversary of TS Eliot’s haunting poem, “The Hollow Men.” It’s a telling coincidence, for it foretold not just the fate of the world, but of a certain shock-jock: “This is the way the [Howard Stern Show] ends; Now with a bang but a whimper.” This week, the news broke:

"I have instructed our Department of Commerce to immediately begin work on a new and highly accurate CENSUS based on modern day facts and figures and, importantly, using the results and information gained from the Presidential Election of 2024. People who are in our Country illegally WILL NOT BE COUNTED IN THE CENSUS. Thank you for your attention to this matter!" Trump posted on Truth Social Thursday. The 2020 Census was alarmingly inaccurate, resulting in faulty congressional representation in Washington D.C.

Britain’s Labour government is in trouble: Its program of massive third-world immigration from places like Pakistan and Somalia is wildly, overwhelmingly unpopular. But that’s not the real problem. The real problem is that despite the best efforts of Prime Minister Keir Starmer and his leftist captive media, Britons themselves have discovered just how unpopular it is. You might think that’s absurd — if mass immigration is unpopular, how can everyone not know it? Everyone doesn’t know it because the government has been policing speech about immigration.

The corporate news media greeted the lackluster jobs report that dropped on August 1 with unabated glee, and savored President Trump’s complaints concerning its accuracy. They were less pleased, however, when he fired Commissioner of Labor Statistics Erika McEntarfer. The coverage of her termination was predictable. CNN, for example, went with the following headline: “Trump fires a senior official over jobs numbers.” In reality, McEntarfer’s termination was long overdue. She was a Biden appointee whose tenure at the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) has been characterized by disarray.

It’s understandable, and rational, that the American people don’t trust the media. Time and time again the media have proven themselves to be untrustworthy. Still, I sometimes find myself wondering how different things might have been, how the press could have saved itself, had reporters just been willing to work with honor and walk down the painful road of introspection when they were wrong. That last phrase, “walk down the painful road of introspection,” is not my own. It belongs to Bob Woodward, the “legendary” Washington Post reporter. Woodward became famous for his coverage of Watergate in the 1970s. A lot of conservatives dislike Woodward, and I understand why.

Anyone old enough to have watched the original Star Wars film on the big screen will clearly remember the scene in which Obi-Wan Kenobi advises Luke Skywalker that the Mos Eisley settlement is “a wretched hive of scum and villainy.” According to a new Wall Street Journal poll, this is very much the way most voters view the Democratic Party. Specifically, the survey found that 63 percent of voters hold an unfavorable view of “the Party of Jefferson and Jackson.” Considering the absurd antics to which voters have been subjected by these people, it’s remarkable that their numbers aren’t worse.

The Obama intelligence community’s claim that Russian President Vladimir Putin authorized dirty tricks to try and help Donald Trump win the 2016 election was based on "one scant, unclear and unverifiable fragment of a sentence from one of the substandard [intelligence] reports," according to a just-declassified report that had been locked away in a CIA vault. Nevertheless, former CIA Director John Brennan ordered agency analysts to use the claim in the Intelligence Community Assessment issued during the Obama administration’s final days – even though the ICA itself noted that how the information on Putin's plans was obtained was “not explicitly clear.”
