FBI Director Kash Patel announced Friday that the bureau is leaving its longtime DC headquarters in the J. Edgar Hoover Building and transferring 1,500 employees to locations around the country.
“This FBI is leaving the [J. Edgar] Hoover Building because this building is unsafe for our workforce,” Patel told Fox Business Network anchor Maria Bartiromo in an interview set to air on Fox News Channel’s “Sunday Morning Futures.” “We want the American men and women to know if you’re going to come work at the premier law enforcement agency in the world, we’re going to give you a building that’s commensurate with that, and that’s not this place,”

The entire Bureau should be headquartered somewhere out in THE COUNTRY. You know, like where the bank robbers and drug gangs are?

Really? I didn't know Patel had the power to ditch FBI HQ's. This is the only visible thing we have seen from the FBI, which has been a total disappointment. I think Patel has gotten too inured with himself, with the chauffer to work, the FBI plane, and now the proclamation of a new office for himself. This is not why he was appointed FBI Director.

It’s like separating the disruptive kids in a classroom. Maybe we could open a field office in Siberia?

I am so sick of that to be the best we have today a fortune. The government spun that lie to the point that, had President Trump and Mr. Musk, along we could have lost country. The fact is the fbi deserves to be shut down and rebuilt by this administration.
We have learned that what it does is attracts crooks - you know, Why do you rob banks, because that's where the money is. They stoled that saying from business, but then business measures performance, and demand what they paid for or else. Whole different world.
Patel took the blue pill. He wants to build them a palace and they need a prison.

The FBI needs to be disbanded, with the most culpable handcuffed and perp walked. Comey would be a great start.

The FBI is a police force. It should be out policing. This shouldn't even be controversial.

The main thing that made the FBI building unsafe was the group that resided on the 7th floor. They are investitaging one of them right now for playing with seashells after he has remained untouched for four years after attempting to take down and imprison a legitimate President.

Hopefully many of them will refuse to move to mid-America, and this attrition needs to remain in place.

The FBI “trust factor” is very low. Patel should consider replacing it with the U.S. Marshals service.

I have a much better idea. Fire every DC agent. Bulldozer the J. Edgar Hoover building. Build a maximum security prison to jail every agent complicent in the Stasy/KGB tyranny of the FBI.

This is great...out of the swamp and under no one's control....except Kash...he knows just how to handle the problems...and put Comey on the "watch list"...just in case his post brought out some loon to take a shot at President Trump....and then he's guilty for insiting a crime...and put in prison...and the Sunday talk shows will have to be very careful with their questions so they won't be implicated ...this is starting to be so much fun...

Large HQ buildings breed large bureaucracy where there isn't enough to do so they all make up projects to make themselves look occupied and promote each other into newly created positions.

For everyone who is finding fault with Kash Patel and Pam Bondi, listen to Tucker's interview with Ed Martin. He says the rot is so thick and so deep in the FBI and the DoJ that it can't be fixed in a few short months. In departments with thousands of employees, they're still looking for disruptors, leakers, and enemies of Trump. Quit being so impatient. It's going to take more time. They run into Democrat roadblocks every day. True, they shouldn't have said they were going to fix things "day one", but I heard Congressman Tim Burchett say working in Washington is like sitting in a chair and remarking how fast a glacier is passing by.

Clearly the leftist Democrats and their RINO buddies want to retain control of the dug-in high mucky-mucks ensconced on the 7th floor of the current FBI Hq. So look for an activist Democrat judge in DC to claim that Trump and his minions do not have authority to move that Hq out of DC.

If you move out all 11,000 out of DC then they will resign. No new building is needed. The Edgar Hoover building was good enough to entrap General Flynn, Donald J. Trump, Catholic parishes, grandmothers against abortion, examine Melania’s underwear, organize January 6 and indict Donald Trump for 700 years in prison. We still do not know about the assassination attempts against Trump; we don’t know whether the Ukraine or the FBI were implicated because the useless FBI did not open the phones. Give the FBI nothing.
