Most sentient people know that EVs will not be viable for most people for a long time out. The Administration knows that too. (maybe not Biden). The impediments to their adoption are so long I can't post them here, but readers know them.. So - what is the purpose of taking away our mobility? Guess.

Cafe standards forced people into pick-up trucks. The people who had station wagons wanted their comfort, so pick up tricks stopped being for work and became luxury pick ups. The price went up to now where it costs in the neighborhood of $70,000 dollars some much more than that. Yeah, They did us a big favor when they outlawed the 6 passenger car. Butt heads.

The Unexpected Hostage Rescue 2 replies

The IDF pulled off “one of the most complicated hostage rescue missions in history,” by rescuing four hostages from a Hamas stronghold. Israeli author Hen Mazzig explains what made it so hard. "The hostages were held in a heavily civilian populated area, above ground, in buildings of 3-4 stories. The forces stormed the two separate targets where the hostages were held, with Noa held on the first floor and Andrey, Shlomi, and Almog on the third floor of another building, hundreds of meters apart. Hamas moved the four hostages from apartment to apartment, and the concern was that if the forces only stormed one building,

Four Israelis held hostage by Hamas were freed in a daring raid in central Gaza on Saturday. Noa Argamani, 25, Almog Meir Jan, 21, Andri Kozlov, 27, and Shlomi Ziv, 40, were all rescued, the Israel Defense Forces said after the mission, the BBC reported. The hostages were rescued during a “complex” operation at two locations in Nuseirat, central Gaza, the IDF said. They are the first rescued since two others were freed during a raid in February. Israel says that another 130 hostages remain in Gaza, though a high percentage of them could be dead as a result of deprivation from captivity. Cheers erupted on the beaches of Tel Aviv after lifeguards announced

Democrats have already weaponized the justice system against conservatives and Donald Trump, and no a New York Democratic congressional candidate thinks that all MAGA supporters should be sent to a "re-education camp" following the 2024 election. Paula Collins, the Democrat challenging Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.), publicly announced her idea during a public Zoom townhall this week. "Even if we were to have a resounding blue wave come through, as many of us would like, putting it all back together again after we’ve gone through this MAGA nightmare and re-educating basically, which, that sounds like a rather, a re-education camp. I don’t think we really want call it that," Collins said.

If a frank enemy of the United States had taken over the executive branch of in January 2021, he would not have conducted himself one whit differently than Joe Biden, his administration, and his Democratic enablers in Congress and the media. From his first day in office Biden garishly repealed every border control that President Trump had worked up to stem the tide of illegal immigration. Biden put out the word to friend and foe alike that the United States had open borders. As he had vowed to do, President Biden opened the borders to illegal aliens on January 20, 2021. Once in a while, it's good to take a look at Florida, where Governor Ron DeSantis just keeps notching up the wins. In the latest such event, the Florida Supreme Court handed the governor a win when they upheld his August 2023 firing of Soros-backed State Attorney Monique Worrel. "The Florida Supreme Court ruled in favor of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis' decision to remove a Soros-backed prosecutor on Thursday. DeSantis had suspended State Attorney Monique Worrel in August 2023, accusing her of "dereliction of duty" when it comes to crime. Worrel sued for reinstatement, arguing her removal was an "arbitrary, unsubstantiated exercise of the suspension power." Thursday's 6-1

The Wall Street Journal published a lengthy and damning piece regarding President Joe Biden’s cognitive health, which did not please the White House. The article is fraught with quotes from Biden’s communications staff and those from Democratic Party congressional leadership who played the role of the good soldier, dispelling any qualms about the president’s mental health, which has become a top voter concern in 2024. From reportedly forgetting his own energy policy meeting with Speaker Mike Johnson to serial slip-ups, the piece doesn’t dispel anything we’ve seen from the president in public. In 2020, CBS News’ Lesley Stahl interviewed then-President Trump when the Hunter Biden laptop was revealed to the world. The device was filled with sexual debauchery, drug use, and the blueprint for the Biden family influence-peddling operation that was damning for the Democrats’ hopes of retaking the White House. The liberal media and Silicon Valley knew that too, which is why they buried the story and censored The New York Post, who first reported on the laptop, from posting on their social media accounts for days. In theory, there will be two presidential debates between Donald Trump and Joe Biden. The first one is supposed to be on the 27th of this month and the second is scheduled for September 10. It takes a long time to replenish the presidential Adderall supply after a big appearance and Biden needs his nap time too. The consensus among my friends and colleagues is that neither debate will happen. Biden can't speak English when reading from a teleprompter, his handlers can't have high hopes for his extemporaneous oratorical skills these days. There are any number of weak excuses Team Joe could use to get out of it. Many believe

NATO is mapping out “land corridors” to enable US troops and other allied forces to reach the front lines quicker in the event of a broader European ground war with Russia. The move follows warnings from NATO leaders earlier this year urging Western governments to prepare themselves for a full-blown war with Russia sometime in the next 20 years. The newly established troop expressways would see American soldiers landing at one of five designated ports. They would then be deployed along pre-established routes depending on how a potential attack by Moscow would play out, NATO officials told The Telegraph.
