There is no such thing as privacy any longer. Your cell phone is a radio anyone can listen to, your car is monitored and they can listen to you inside it, camera's everywhere, Internet is open to all.

If I had a software corporation like Adobe, I'd monitor the users too to make sure they are not using it for nefarious purposes that could lead to criminal and/or civil lawsuits. Collecting information is not wrong what you do with it determines your character and moral compass.

But wait, there's more. Adobe has pretty much gone to subscription pricing for all their software. You used to be able to buy it. Now essentially you can only rent it. And the annual subscription isn't cheap. So I decided to switch to an independent PDF app. Imagine my surprise then when I opened my first PDF document with my new, non-Adobe app and got a pop-up from Adobe forcing me to download their free Adobe Reader before letting me continue. And to add insult to injury, it also forced me to watch a commercial for their non-free app. Wow. Talk about brazen. In general, while I used to automatically accept every legal EULA agreement before using new software, I no longer do. And neither should you.

Adobe, just like Google, Fakebook, Microsoft and all the others steal your information and on-line habits for one major purpose, to sell it to advertisers so they can target you with a stream of pop up ads somewhat tailored to you. That behavior is acceptable but working in tandem with the FBI and the rest of the government apparatus is not. That is known as domestic spying.

Israeli security forces rescued four hostages from Gaza on Saturday morning who had been held hostage for eight months, Israel Defense Forces said. The hostages had been kidnapped from a music festival in Israel during the October 7 Hamas terrorist attacks. The rescued hostages were found in good medical condition, Israel said. Among the hostages rescued from central Nuseirat was Noa Argamani, whose kidnapping was captured on camera and shared widely online. A ten-second clip of the kidnapping showed Argamani screaming as she was taken away on the back of a motorcycle. “We are overjoyed to have you home,”

RedState has written about former President Donald Trump's sudden fundraising success, which has taken off following his conviction in the Manhattan trial. On Thursday, an MSNBC panel speculated about it, talking in part about it happening in Silicon Valley. The panel pointed out the early post-verdict fundraising numbers, including a major donation almost immediately on the heels of the conviction. But what's really great about the MSNBC speculation is the claim that President Biden was "too quiet for too long." That's rich, when one considers the recent history of President Biden saying, well, anything. As the panel revealed, the former president had a roster

As Israel's political world waits to see the outcome of one ultimatum, their enemy faces another -- reportedly. With Israel offering grudging support for an operational pause to swap hostages for prisoners based on the latest US formula, Hamas has taken a week or so to offer a firm response. Yesterday, as John noted, Yahya Sinwar appeared to signal rejection over a refusal by Israel to end the war first and leave Hamas in control of Gaza. Today, Qatar decided to up the stakes by issuing an ultimatum of its own. Well, not entirely of its own: Qatar has given Hamas an ultimatum to accept the ceasefire deal proposed by

CNN is reporting an Israeli strike on a Hamas headquarters inside a United National Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) school compound in Gaza as an “Israel strike on UN school that left dozens dead.” The main focus of the CNN story is the claim that American munitions were used in the strike, from which CNN evidently wishes readers to conclude that the United States shares moral culpability in an Israeli atrocity. However, the airstrike, as described by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), was actually a targeted attack on a building that had been used as a base by Hamas terrorists, who likely accounted for most of the “dozens”

That’s really the question,” Trump, the presumptive GOP nominee for November, said in the interview, highlighted by Mediaite. “And wouldn’t it be really bad like, as an example, Hillary

The Department of Justice has indicted Dr. Eithan Haim, a little-known surgeon who exposed Texas Children’s Hospital for secretly conducting transgender surgeries and treatments on minors, on four felony counts related to his alleged violation of a medical-records law. Last year, Haim anonymously leaked evidence of the child sex-change procedures to conservative journalist Christopher Rufo. The documents revealed that Texas Children’s Hospital had continued running its transgender program, despite announcing that the program had been discontinued in accordance with Governor Greg Abbott’s 2022 directive equating such medical interventions with child abuse.

Yowza. It was amazing to watch the fourth test flight of SpaceX's Starship. If you didn't catch it live, don't worry. You will see these images countless times over the coming hours and days. The launch was nothing short of stunning, in some ways rivaling the launch of a Saturn V launch vehicle and in other ways far more impressive. Of course, the craft doesn't carry men to the moon--yet, at least--and it is only in its test phase, so at this stage the emotional charge is hardly comparable. That may change, though, if Starship fulfills its intended mission, which is to bring men to the moon from orbit

A federal judge on Thursday ordered Steve Bannon to begin serving his prison sentence by July 1. The former Trump adviser will serve a four-month stint in prison for defying January 6 Committee subpoenas. Bannon was found guilty on two counts of contempt in July 2022 and sentenced in October of that year, but his sentencing had been delayed while he appealed the ruling. The United States Circuit Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit rejected the appeal in May. Judge Carl J. Nichols sided with federal prosecutors on Thursday who had argued that, because his appeal had been rejected, there was no longer any basis for the sentencing hold.
