A top adviser at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) deleted records critical to uncovering the origins of COVID-19 — and used a “secret back channel” to help Dr. Anthony Fauci and a federal grantee that funded gain-of-function research in Wuhan, China, evade transparency. NIH senior adviser Dr. David Morens improperly conducted official government business from his private email account and solicited help from the NIH’s Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) office to dodge records requests, according to emails revealed in a memo by the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic, which The Post obtained Wednesday.

There has been a significant increase, particularly from Democrats and Democrat aligned groups, using "secret" and off-book means of communication. Should be working to ensure the proper SOP's were followed for policy decisions and positions being advocated (how did you determine X, Y or Z?).

We were *told* that Fauci had retired. But did he really? Fauci's last appearance on Capitol Hill was the dreaded behind closed doors testimony. Under oath. None of the pathetic little worm's speechifying and combativeness. Fauci took four (4) - FOUR! - attorneys. Does a 'public health expert' need four attorneys? Does a doctor discussing his medical specialty need four attorneys? And two of the four attorneys were paid by...you and me. Taxpayers. They were government lawyers. Now was/is Fauci REALLY retired? If you or I testified before Congress would the government supply us with lawyers? No. Quite the opposite. All the lawyers would be on the side of government. Fauci is a weasel who thinks he's clever but at this point his little smirk is gone. He's an 80-something criminal trying to protect the ill-gotten loot he's amassed to live like a prince on a government salary in an upscale neighborhood. Let us enjoy his final years spent in agony as he attempts to stay ahead of investigations and even prosecutions.

We knew in March, 2020, that Fauci had been improperly using the "emergency" exception to the Obama Gain of Function restrictions to improperly fund the GOF research in Wuhan that had been transferred there from the North Carolina lab that the Obama HHS had shut down. They didn't wait until 2017 to do it. It was running the whole time. Dr. Shi Zhengli just packed up her NC lab, viruses and all, and took it to Wuhan. She even wrote a paper about it in 2015 or 2016. Google "shi zhengli gateway pundit" for the entry point to it all. We KNEW this in March 2020 Why is everyone acting surprised now?

And what will happen to Dr. Morens for destroying emails and lying about Covid to everyone resulting in deaths? Nothing, because he worked for the government and government workers never seem to be held accountable for anything (except for low level military soldiers who might accidentally kill a civilian in combat). And what about the FOIA lady who told Dr. Morens how to make emails disappear before they could be found on a FOIA search? Will she be held accountable for her role in the deceit? If she helped him do it, how many other FOIA requests did she assist in hiding emails with? She knowing assisted in the fraud; most likely many times. At a minimum, both must be fired and lose all pension benefits immediately. Some other court related punishment also seems warranted. As for their ringleader Dr. Fauci.....

It’s still about five months until the election, but it’s pretty clear that Donald Trump has become – impossible as it might have seemed last year – the favorite to win. We must plan the battles that lie ahead now. This first column talks about what happens immediately after we win. Part 2 talks about what Trump needs to do during his first days in office to set the stage for the total destruction of the Democrats’ dreams. We have to prepare for success. The great Townhall senior columnist Derek Hunter warns that you should not spike the football anywhere but the endzone, but this time,

The approximately five-hour-long tour reportedly saw five officials from the Castro family regime visit TSA’s control facilities at Miami International Airport. The high-security areas the communist officials were allowed to visit reportedly contain some of the agency’s sensitive computer systems.

Are we soon to witness 1968 all over again, where violence wracked the Chicago Democratic National Convention in the lead-up to the November presidential vote? Many pundits have predicted exactly that, taking into account the George Floyd riots in the summer of 2020 and the ongoing pro-Hamas demonstrations roiling campuses across the nation. RedState’s Andrew Malcolm and Ward Clark have both delved into the issue before: But let’s examine some numbers to get a better sense of the chances of chaos overtaking the Second City when Democrats meet there in late August to formally certify the decrepit incumbent President Joe Biden as their standard-bearer for the ’24 election.

D.C. — A bipartisan group of House members in Congress has introduced legislation aimed at improving air quality on planes, called the Safe Air on Airplanes Act. Airplane cabins require pressurization to have enough oxygen while flying, but flight attendants and the unions that represent them say most current systems are putting passengers and flight crews at risk when it comes to their health. "External air is drawn in from the engines, compressed warm, and then pumped in to the pressurized aircraft cabin. This is called bleed air. Believe it or not, this bleed air is not filtered, and oil and fuel can leak and become vaporized.

President Joe Biden is blaming record-setting levels of illegal immigration to the United States on congressional Republicans, suggesting they are standing in the way of “border enforcement.” On Thursday, a bill to expand legal immigration while permitting tens of thousands of migrant encounters along the U.S.-Mexico border failed in the Senate by a 43-50 vote. The bill would have, among other things, increased annual green card admissions by 50,000, expedited work permits for migrants released into the U.S. interior, and allowed some 35,000 migrant encounters at the border before the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) could enforce border controls.

The Libertarian Party on Sunday nominated party activist Chase Oliver for president, rejecting former President Donald Trump and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. after they each spoke at the party’s convention. Third parties have rarely been competitive in U.S. presidential elections and the Libertarian candidate four years ago won 1% of the vote. But the party’s decision is getting more attention this year due to the rematch between Trump and Democratic President Joe Biden, which could hinge again on small vote margins in a handful of contested states. “We did it! I am officially the presidential nominee,” Oliver posted Sunday on X, formerly Twitter. “It’s time to unify and move forward for liberty.”
