Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA) would be “extremely honored” to be President Donald Trump’s vice presidential pick, she said this weekend.
Ernst was interviewed on the Breitbart News Memorial Day Weekend special on SiriusXM Patriot 125. She offered a tribute, as a U.S. Army veteran, to those American servicemen and servicewomen who had made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.“I think there are a lot of really wonderful people who are being considered,” Ernst said, after being asked if she would accept the job of being Trump’s running mate if it were offered to her.

Ernst was the final member of the Senate GOP leadership conference to endorse Trump and criticized Trump for comparing those incarcerated because of Jan 6 as “hostages.”
Ernst is a Quisling; she will sure as S backstab the President. PASS!

Well, at least Joni did vote against Trump's fake conviction in 2021. But my problem with her is she still ignores the Great Election Fraud of 2020 to this day.

Its a slow news weekend because of the holiday. May as well scrape the bottom of the barrel just to add words to an empty page. Sorry Joni. You have just proven to be an even bigger dunce then we had imagined.

A breath of fresh air when she splashed onto the scene, but quickly became just another Beltway plyayer. Whom will tomorrow bring - Cindy McCain?

As long as Trump is elected, I am not going to worry about who he picks as VP.
My concern is who he picks as Attorney General.
He will need someone who can do battle against the Deep State and go after people like Fauci and all the others who reeked havoc on our nation.
The Secretary of the Department of Energy is also a key position, so whomever it is can put the breaks on this green energy nonsense.

Eh, interview question. Appropriate answer. Does not mean she’s under consideration. I’m not worried.

She has no shot at it. But I just had another thought about whom Trump should pick as VP: Jamie Dimon, who reportedly will be retiring from JP Morgan soon. A businessman, not a politician, should make a sound VP. Dimon used to be a Democrat, but so did Trump. Dimon also, unlike other politicos, would not be on the take.

We donated to her campaign when she first ran. And yet another fake republican that turned on us and Trump. I would be absolutely horrified if Trump iseven considering her let alone selects her. She would be worse, more treacherous and more traitorous than Mike Pence. No way, no how, nada, niente, let's never speak of this again!

Personally, I'm weary of hearing interviewers on political talk shows (e.g., Fox News Sunday) ask every Republican guest if they would accept an invitation to serve as VP. A year ago, every one was asked if they have ruled out running for POTUS. How tiresome!

I had high hopes for Ernst when she was first elected. But it only took her about six months to catch a bad case of Potomac Fever. She still has it, and she's contagious.

Sarah Sanders has been my choice, but I think Senator Scott would bring some votes with him, although Senators generally have zero executive experience or skills. Sanders is doing well in Arkansas.
