Trump and the Revenge Vote

Yesterday, New York Attorney General (AG) Letitia James began, in earnest, her political prosecution of former President Donald J. Trump. Jones is a loathsome political figure who cut a stout profile while rabidly stumping for Trump’s prosecution during her campaign for the prosecutorial seat she coveted and acquired. Throughout her campaign, James dog whistled about Trump’s illegitimacy as President, engaging in a brand of naughty thinking and speaking that Democrats regard as treasonous when applied to their drooling, vacant, staggering “President” — Joe Biden.

When this loathsome creature appeared on the public stage about five years ago in a primary campaign for NYC mayor, it was discovered that she was lying about her age. Vanity aside, an attorney who would lie about her age, something that can easily be verified, would not hesitate to lie about anything else.

Letitia James has found her one true purpose in life--hounding Donald Trump because he is smart, rich, and white. That'll show all those white folks that she means bidness. And the bruthas won't mess wid her either.

The word Loathsome is a great adjective, and used very appropriately here.

The far-right Alternative for Germany is currently polling between 19% and 23% nationally, according to data compiled across eight different platforms. Support for the AfD comes in well above the Social Democrats (SDP), the Greens, and the pro-business Free Democrats (FDP), who currently make up Germany’s coalition government. AfD secured a district council for the first time in June, in the eastern town of Sonneberg in the state of Thuringia, and many are looking to see whether other electorates will follow suit.

Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., a lifelong, true, loyal leftist, suddenly became popular among conservatives because he was one of the few leftists to speak out against COVID vaccines. This wasn’t any particular wisdom on his part; he’s always opposed all vaccines. However, because of this stance, when RFK Jr threw his hat in the Democrat primary ring against Biden, some conservatives got excited. This man, they thought, would siphon votes away from Biden, handing Republicans a win. But that’s not what will happen—and RFK knows it. In other words, he’s another weapon against Republicans.

The recent death of former Sen. Dianne Feinstein left Gov. Gavin Newsom in a predicament. Would he keep his promise to fill the seat with a black woman even though two white people (Adam Schiff and Katie Porter) are leading the 2024 race for the seat? As RedState reported, the answer is yes. Newsom appointed Laphonza Butler, whose only qualifications appear to be working on Kamala Harris' failed 2020 presidential campaign while being a "black lesbian." Naturally, the California governor is touting the latter.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is accusing Republicans of trying to turn the situation at the U.S.-Mexico border into a "political stunt" as she insists President Biden is "doing everything that he can" to deal with the influx of migrants. Jean-Pierre made the remark Monday when asked by Fox News correspondent Hillary Vaughn if Biden sees a "border that is effectively closed." "What I'm saying is that the president, without the help, without the help of Republicans, is doing everything that he can to deal with the border," she responded.

The dramatic indictment of Sen. Bob Menendez on federal indictment charges raised a slew of questions about the New Jersey senator’s political future in Washington, as calls for Menendez’s resignation proliferate among his Democratic colleagues in the Senate. But for New Jersey, the indictment raised a different question: Why can’t the Garden State shake its reputation as one of the corruption capitals of the U.S.?Of course, that reputation is partly the product of Hollywood hype, with films like On the Waterfront and TV shows like The Sopranos depicting the state as a hotbed of political duplicity and deceit.

Elon Musk has entered the chat regarding illegal immigration. The Tesla founder and billionaire entrepreneur decided to see first-hand what our own Julio Rosas, Katie Pavlich, and Guy Benson have witnessed: complete lawlessness at the southern border. We have illegal aliens planting literal flags on our soil. The Border Patrol cannot do their jobs, hamstrung by the Biden administration. And, as you know, contrary to the lies Biden officials have said on the record, the border is not secure. Millions have poured into the country, some of whom have been on terror watch lists.

While prevalent it remains one of the most perplexing realities of our contemporary media complex; journalism outlets that exist under the 1st Amendment frequently engage in actions to limit free expression. It had been something that percolated subtly until the pandemic arrived, and then it almost became a contest to see which outlets could stifle the most narratives and questions regarding the outbreak and shutdowns.

There are three realities that Republican voters can no longer avoid. The first, Joe Biden will not be the Democrat nominee in 2024. Second, the Democrats want to face a damaged Donald Trump in November of 2024. Third, Trump’s age, unforeseen events, and the egregious lawfare he is facing could eventuate in Trump having to drop out of the race. Ron DeSantis is the only viable proven conservative candidate to replace him and yet Trump and many Republican voters are foolishly determined to permanently destroy DeSantis and render him unelectable.

In both the Menendez and Trump cases, prosecutors are engaging in the questionable tactic of seeking to influence the jury before trial. Both show and tells [Menendez's gold bars and Trump's documents] are wrong. Both are intended to prejudice potential jurors and witnesses and to try the case in the court of public opinion before it is subject to the adversarial process to the courts of law. Two wrongs do not make a right -- nor do they cancel each other out.

As his first act as Acting Speaker, Rep. Patrick McHenry ordered Nancy Pelosi to vacate her Capitol hideaway office by Wednesday. Rep. Patrick McHenry (NC) was appointed as Acting Speaker after McCarthy was ousted. McCarthy chose McHenry as Speaker Pro Tempore earlier this year and he now has all the powers of a House Speaker. McHenry ordered former Speaker Nancy Pelosi to vacate her Capitol hideaway office pronto! Pelosi lashed out at McHenry and said his ruthless move to evict her from her hideaway office is “a sharp departure from tradition.” The best part about this ruthless move by McHenry is that Pelosi isn’t even in Washington DC right now.

Lawmakers have voted to oust Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., from his leadership role, the first time in the history of the House of Representatives that the chamber voted to boot a member from the top job. Eight Republicans voted with every present Democrat to vacate the speaker's chair. The final vote was 216 to 210 in favor of McCarthy's ouster. Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., introduced a measure against McCarthy known as a motion to vacate on Monday night, accusing him of breaking promises he made to win the speaker's gavel in January.

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) successfully led a coup against now-former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy on Tuesday. He managed to eke out a “win” by rallying the entire Democrat caucus and eight Republicans to oust him. It’s the first time that has happened in U.S. history. And it’s a total clown show. Not only does it distract from the already tense budget negotiations, but it makes a laughingstock of the GOP—and the U.S.—and gives Democrats even more leverage to push through their radical policies. Gaetz got a win, but at what cost? Sure, he’ll raise a lot of campaign money from this—he’s already sending out emails and asking for money on Fox News
