BREAKING: Acting Speaker Patrick McHenry
Orders Pelosi to Vacate Her Capitol Hideaway
Office by Wednesday – PELOSI FREAKS!

Original Article

Posted By: DW626, 10/3/2023 8:50:12 PM

As his first act as Acting Speaker, Rep. Patrick McHenry ordered Nancy Pelosi to vacate her Capitol hideaway office by Wednesday. Rep. Patrick McHenry (NC) was appointed as Acting Speaker after McCarthy was ousted. McCarthy chose McHenry as Speaker Pro Tempore earlier this year and he now has all the powers of a House Speaker. McHenry ordered former Speaker Nancy Pelosi to vacate her Capitol hideaway office pronto! Pelosi lashed out at McHenry and said his ruthless move to evict her from her hideaway office is “a sharp departure from tradition.” The best part about this ruthless move by McHenry is that Pelosi isn’t even in Washington DC right now.

Funny how tradition is all of the sudden important to Pelosi. While Speaker, she broke tradition all the time to stick it to Republicans and Trump. Remember the -itch tearing up trhe State of the Union speech during the State of the Union. Not only did that break tradition, it broke the law. She has no standing to complain about anything. The woman is a waste of oxygen.

Meanwhile, our country is being invaded by illegal aliens, the price of gasoline has doubled and more since Vegetable occupied the White House, crime runs unchecked in our largest cities. Is there a single adult in charge in Washington.?

I'm sure she has personal slaves who can drag her trash out of the office in her absence. What a difference a day makes. Drag nasty when she gets back. This is good stuff! Have to say I'm suspicious of McHenry since he was appointed by McCarthy, but he can prove himself given time.

In the true and glorious fashion of “…be careful what you wish for…”. Now let’s take it to the next level and make Jim Jordan the speaker. I would love to be a fly on the wall when Jordan gets the gavel, and summons the Sgt. at Arms to arrest Bowman for pulling the fire alarm. Ruthless rule over Hakim and company should start from that minute.

I had to look up "hideaway office". Had never heard of it before. There are 100 hideaway offices in the US capitol bldg. They are primarily used by Senators but a few high ranking house members can get them. They are assigned by seniority. These are secondary offices separate from the congressmans assigned office. They are unlisted," that means secret" and identified only by an office number on the door. Supposedly to be used for floor prep but more likeley used anytime a congress critter wants to be unavailable. An out of sight place to sleep, play video games, hold secret off the record meetings, meet folks they don't want to admit they met, plot to rule world or meet unsavory people who are not their spouses. My guess is Pelosi spent a lot of time there prior to and on Jan 6.

None too subtle warning to the fascist that their coconspirator participation in McCarthy's removal didn't go unnoticed. Wouldn't be surprised if nothing to lose McHenry goes metaphorically Medieval on the Democrats. And moved to put bills in front of McConnell that pushes him towards the Rebublican party and out from under Schumer's spell. Of course nothing is gonna happen but nice to see Naci get a little poke in the eye.

With McCarthy announcing he won't seek to regain the Speaker post, we will now be able to select a Speaker from a longer list of qualified persons. They will not decline the offer this time with McCarthy on the sideline. Will we be pleasantly surprised?

All I know so far about McHenry is the ancient and honorable name McHenry. But I love how he started his tenure. If they need a few extra hands to come remove Pelosi's crappola and her Victrola, I can help. Can't you just see nasty Nancy in her black funeral garb dabbing her eyes with a silk hanky for her "dear friend"? She'll be wringing every vote/dollar out of this deal she can.

Well, I don't know if it is a 'spine' moment or an 'ain't got nothing to lose' moment. What's the downside for McHenry for doing this? Nada that I can see. What's the upside? A lot! I don't care if someone does something to enhance his bona fides, if the things he does are positive to our side. That's kind of the point of us conservatives pressuring our squishes to do the right thing. Lots of upside if you do, lots of misery (from your constituents) if you don't. Personally, I'd want Louie Gohmert for speaker. Yeah, he's not in the House any more, but there's no requirement that speaker be a house member!

#3, Come on. How long did it take to make that statement? There are still plenty of hours in the day to work on other measures. However, this one small thing put a smile on my face and I would argue many other faces too. Democrats, Nasty Nan in particular, are petty tyrants that squeal like a pig when they get a taste of their own medicine. It’s all about power and McHenry just hit Pelosi where it hurts, her oversized ego. She is not queen of the House and deserves zero accommodations.

Re #3 - True but until Biden leaves office or is removed, his Executive Orders trump anything Congress passes. We HAVE immigration laws on the books and they have been completely trashed by Biden through his EOs. This country is a Constitutional Republic and it was designed so that Congress would craft and pass legislation - we were not meant to be governed by Executive Orders. And for all those people critical of Gaetz and the eight Republicans who supported the ouster of McCarthy and crying we have to get control of the White House and Congress. Well, we had that once not too long ago and two people stopped Trump's agenda, our agenda. And those two were Paul Ryan Mitch McConnell. Pretty obvious most Republicans in Congress do not want to govern; swing down hard the gavel of power. No, it's enrich themselves and talk a good talk. McCarthy has not allowed one subpoena to be issued to Wray or any of the Bidens, etc. Three subpoenas were approved by Pelosi to force Don Trump, Jr to testify before Congress three times for Nothing.

She who now cries about what he did being "a sharp departure from tradition." I'm sure her fellow democrats in that body would like us to forget her very many stunts while Speaker that were "a sharp departure from tradition." She can go kick rocks in rush hour traffice as far as I'm concerned. As for McHenry hopefully he does all he can to destroy everything Milquetoast McCarthy has done and keeps sticking it to the democrats.

By the way, it would benefit all Americans if we expected clean campaigns, clean elections, and clean leadership. We do this by expecting transparency and accountability. To me, it isn't enough just to vote someone out. Terms for various positions are four-year, six-year, or more. That is a long time to serve oneself. Nobody seems to keep DC accountable and I think we Americans should have another venue to keep them accountable. These committees that say they are looking into this or that and it goes on forever is just another form of not being accountable. I would love to see Americans have their own accountability committee. #44, I am right there with you wanting to know who occupies these hide-away offices. . .

Remember the glory days of the Summer of Love 2020, when the “mostly peaceful” protests to honor the martyrdom of St. Floyd the Recidivist ravaged cities and murdered innocents? His apostles having gotten a little too frisky with the rending of garments and gnashing of teeth, Chicago mayor Lori Lightfoot tried to pre-empt them. In a scene reminiscent of medieval battle preparations rather than a slow Tuesday in a 21st-century American city, she raised the river bridges that surround the city’s less feral neighborhoods to prevent the roaming Visigoths from giving Chicago’s dwindling productive class another reason to leave.

So, eight conservatives have successfully ousted Kevin McCarthy as Speaker of the House and much of the conservative punditry is angry! What does that tell us? It tells us that all those RINOs who voted to retain McCarthy are not conservatives. That any member of Congress can and does vote to perpetuate the brutally irresponsible spending of the uniparty that runs the swamp which should be a wake-up call for all Americans. Congress can't stop spending and the Fed can't stop printing money to do it. Modern monetary theory is a joke; printing money backed by nothing is a dangerous way to operate.

Political pundits are stunned at the recent ouster of Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy. The removal is the latest public backlash against political establishment politics in the United States implemented by a corrupt intellectual culture. The catalyst to McCarthy’s defeat was certainly the vote for a continuing resolution on the Federal government’s budget activities that remain far beyond constitutional order and the primary driver for the inflationary pains the general public has felt since rapidly escalating federal government spending in spring of 2020. America’s intellectual culture is dangerously malicious and reactionary -- spinning false narratives in order to control an American public that is increasingly restless

Normally I shy away from discussing the political kabuki theater of Washington, DC. Especially the political wrestling that defines the U.S. Congress. But the ejection of Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy is a big deal and has direct effects on U.S. foreign policy — Ukraine in particular. McCarthy won the right to become Speaker because he was a gifted player of the political game in the House of Representatives. What does that mean? He was good at raising money and passing it along to members of Congress who in turn were obligated to support him. Only one little problem — the Republican Freedom Caucus.
Trump trial: The camera never lies 12 replies

The judge presiding over the New York civil fraud case against President Donald Trump decided to invite the media cameras into the courtroom, but what became obvious is the camera never lies. I don’t doubt for a moment that showing Trump at bay motivated Judge Arthur Engoron’s allowing of the media to show the beginning of the proceedings. Trump gave the cameras nothing: no anxious movements and no emotional reactions to feed the media pundits. Instead, viewers saw the mad dog glare of New York Attorney General Letitia James focused on Trump like a laser.

Congressman Troy Nehls (R-TX) has thrown a curveball into the already tumultuous race for Speaker of the House. Taking to Twitter, Nehls announced that he will nominate former President Donald J. Trump for Speaker of the House. This bombshell comes on the heels of a historic 216-210 vote to remove Kevin McCarthy from the Speaker’s chair, marking the first time in U.S. history that a Speaker has been ousted mid-term. On Tuesday, the House of Representatives voted 216-210 to remove McCarthy, making him the shortest-serving Speaker since 1876. The vote was spearheaded by Florida Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz and saw a few conservatives joining Democrats in the unprecedented action.

Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost announced Monday the sweeping success of a weeklong statewide human trafficking operation, aptly named ‘Operation Buyer’s Remorse.’ The operation aimed to arrest individuals attempting to purchase sex and identify survivors of human trafficking. “Operation Buyer’s Remorse” is a weeklong statewide human trafficking crackdown in Ohio. The operation was led by the Southeastern Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force and local law enforcement agencies. “Law enforcement across Ohio teamed up in a concerted effort to stem the demand that fuels human trafficking,”
The Real Motive for Jan. 6 6 replies

Everyone who watches crime dramas such as CSI, NCIS, Castle, or Bones, knows that every episode focuses on the issue of Motive. The reason is obvious. Correctly assessing Motive an important consideration in figuring out who has committed what crime. Why then has the issue of Motive on January 6 been swept off the stage of public discourse? To many, asking such a question may appear provocative, even uninformed. After all, Democrats have repeatedly told us the Motive for January 6: Trump, according to them, wanted to foment an "insurrection.” Yet if that Motive were really so obvious, why has it been necessary for the anti-Trumpers to repeat it so

If you’re kicking yourself for missing the historic moment of a House speaker’s ouster Tuesday because you had to work or get your kids from school, relax: We watched, and all it boiled down to was hot air — sound and fury, signifying nothing except cynical nihilism and likely weeks of chaotic paralysis. Oh, Rep. Matt Gaetz and his fellow rebels talked plenty about high principle and the crisis of the Republic, but all they were really doing was burning down the House, or at least the House Republican majority.

President Joe Biden announced Wednesday that he approved $9 billion in student loan forgiveness for 125,000 Americans. The relief is a result of his administration's fixes to a number of programs, including the income-driven repayment plans and Public Service Loan Forgiveness. More than $5 billion of the aid will go to 53,000 borrowers who've worked in public service for a decade or more; $2.8 billion of the forgiveness is for 51,000 borrowers enrolled in income-driven repayment plans; and another $1.2 billion of the cancellation will go to 22,000 borrowers with disabilities. The announcement is likely to help Biden as he runs for reelection, experts say.

The Biden administration will waive 26 federal laws to allow several miles of new border wall construction in South Texas, leading former President Donald Trump to argue that his signature policy was correct all along. The Department of Homeland Security posted the announcement on the US Federal Registry on Wednesday, allowing the construction in Starr County, Texas, part of a busy Border Patrol sector seeing 'high illegal entry.' 'There is presently an acute and immediate need to construct physical barriers and roads in the vicinity of the border of the United States in order to prevent unlawful entries into the United States in the project areas,' DHS Secretary

Former Secretary of State and 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton said Thursday on CNN’s “Primetime” she believed there needed to be a “formal deprogramming of the cult members” who support former President Donald Trump. Clinton said, “You saw the number of Republicans who voted along with Democrats to keep the government open, so there’s clearly a common sense, sane part of the Republican caucus in the House. But I think they are intimidated. They oftentimes, you know, say and do things which they know better than to say or do. It will require us defeating those most extreme measures and the people who promote them

Biden paid a visit to Arizona to claim that everyone who opposes him is a threat to democracy, to brag about encouraging former Senator McCain to cheat on his disabled first wife, and to announce $83 million in taxpayer money for the John McCain National Library. The 80,000-square-foot library built on 22.5 acres at Arizona State Universe will archive McCain’s papers and claims, implausibly, that it will have over 100,000 visitors a year. Politicians stealing taxpayer money to build useless monuments to each other’s vanity is nothing new, but what is unusual is the source of the money for the McCain library. The Biden administration put out a press release announcing that

President Vladimir Putin has threatened the West with total nuclear destruction leaving 'no chance of survival' in the event of a strike on Russia. In a ranting anti-US speech, the dictator said his powerful missiles 'Satan-2' and 'Flying Chernobyl' are ready for deployment in an ominous doomsday warning. Putin told a conference in Sochi: 'From the moment the launch of missiles is detected, no matter where it comes from - from any point of the world ocean or from any territory - such a number, so many hundreds of our missiles appear in the air in a retaliatory strike that there is no chance of survival there will be no

The pope — or, rather, whichever committee of handlers dictates his public utterances — had some stern words recently for Westerners and their “irresponsible” lifestyles. Via CNN (emphasis added): Pope Francis has made his strongest statement yet on the accelerating climate crisis, pinning blame on big industries and world leaders as well as “iresponsible” Western lifestyles, in a blistering statement on Wednesday. (snip) “Some effects of the climate crisis are already irreversible, at least for several hundred years, such as the increase in the global temperature of the oceans, their acidification and the decrease of oxygen,” he wrote…

Liz Cheney is jumping into the fight over who will be the next Speaker of the House, and she's brought with her (a) desperate warning: Don't elect Rep. Jim Jordan to the position. (snip) How many times can you cry about "democracy" being in danger before people just tune you out? (snip) CHENEY: "Jim Jordan knew more about what Donald Trump had planned for January 6th than any other member of the House of Representatives. Jim Jordan was involved, was part of the conspiracy" (snip) She's like Uncle Rico still talking about how far he can throw a football. Is there any depth to Cheney at this point?

We wrote earlier about how one of the first orders of business for speaker pro tempore Patrick McHenry (R-N.C.) in the aftermath of the House's ousting of Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) as Speaker was to notify former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) that she needed to immediately remove her things and vacate her hideaway office. Also, according to reports, an email sent from a House Administration Committee aide indicated the room was being redesignated “for speaker office use." Naturally, the move prompted some wailing from Pelosi, who proclaimed that the decision was "a sharp departure from tradition."

My dearest friends, as much as I do not want to accept certain things, this one is critical to accept. Jim Jordan has shown over time that he is simply a purposefully placed “anger manager” on behalf of the Professionally Republican wing of the administrative state. (snip)For the past several years, as more intensity has swirled around us, Representative Jim Jordan has appeared as more of a useful “anger manager,” better positioned to satiate the masses than actually deliver any accountability results. The media appearances seemed to align with that intent, and then a very big datapoint surfaced that few -other than myself- seemed to be concerned about.

The FBI is reportedly probing a Christian faith group that counts Catholic Supreme Court justice Amy Coney Barrett as a member, months after Republicans accused the agency of targeting Catholics. The agency has interviewed several people who claim they were abused by members of the group, People of Praise, sources told the Guardian. (snip) During Barrett's confirmation process in October 2020, her critics hammered on her association with People of Praise, framing the group as radical and misogynistic. Media outlets publicized allegations against the group by a former member who, the Washington Free Beacon reported, has a history of far-fetched claims, litigiousness, and hyper-partisanship.
