Illinois Supreme Court Finds Assault Weapons
Ban Legal

The Illinois Supreme Court has found that a ban on assault weapons, passed after the hysteria generated by the July 4 mass killing in Highland Park, Ill., is legal. A lower court ruled that the law was “facially” unconstitutional because exemptions denied the “law-abiding public” equal protections. But the Supreme Court challenged the standing of the plaintiffs — not the unconstitutionality of the law. They allowed the ban to take effect. Justice Elizabeth Rochford wrote, “First, we hold that the exemptions neither deny equal protection nor constitute special legislation because plaintiffs have not sufficiently alleged that they are similarly situated to and treated differently from the exempt classes. Second, plaintiffs expressly waived

I wonder if any of these anti-Constitutionalists can even define exactly what it is they are banning. We all know the answer to that.

Actual assault weapons are already not legal by private citizens in all 57 states unless you get the "special" license. If you mean semi-automatic weapons which you idiots usually do, what are you gonna do about it? We have many more than the military and all police forces do so I suggest you drop the idea.

Need to fix the headline - "Illinois Packed with Communist Death Democrats Supreme Court ignores the Second Amendment of the Constitution, the Right to Bear Arms, and breaks the law by illegally banning rifles which are falsely labeled Assault weapons (AR stands for Armalite, the gun manufacturer, and not Assault Rifle), and once again commit a crime and take away the Constitutional Rights of Americans". The suicidal ignorance of the voters of Illinois is once again on display by their repeated voting for Communist Death Democrats to rule over them. By the way the State of Illinois is named after an Indian Tribe. Why haven't the Communist Death Democrats who have an iron grip on the State do the right thing by their anti-racist religious tenet, rename the State? Bigots!

Here's their game: Once they get away with banning "assault weapons", they will simply begin expanding the definition of "assault weapon" until it includes all guns. After all, literally any weapon could be used for assault.

How is an assault weapon defined there? as it seems that they intend to ban all semiautomatic firearms, handguns, rifles and shotguns. When you look at the multiple shootings that occur in Chicago just about all the time, it appears that the favorite weapon used on the streets of Chicago by the criminal street gangs who perpetrate almost all the aggravated assaults and murders is the semiautomatic handgun. So you have to figure that with this State Law, that the liberal, progressive, and socialist Democrats there intend to ban the sale and possession of just about all modern firearms that are in common use in Illinois, and by extension all over the USA mostly all by law abiding citizens. They already have strict gun control laws in Chicago and throughout Illinois, the problem is that criminals and intending criminals just don’t obey the current gun control laws. In that respect the Democrats will never put the blame for all the aggravated assaults and murders that routinely occur in Chicago on the criminal perpetrators who reside in the “communities” from where the Democrats traditionally, at least since the 1960’s, have obtained a big vote in elections. So instead the Democrats fraudulently blame guns, that in fact are inanimate objects, that are designed not to fire a round without a person, or irresponsible criminal perpetrator with malice activating the firearm trigger, while aiming the firearm at another person, resulting in that person being wounded or killed.

The world of U.S. election fraud tactics changed forever -- in the most fundamental of ways -- last week with the Gateway Pundit publication of the alleged 2020 Michigan ballot manufacturing factory. Days later, the Michigan Secretary of State confirmed that indeed this event did take place, adding a little different spin -- the system caught this fraud before it impacted an election. Interesting that now, three years later, an admitted massive election fraud event did occur -- yet not one person has been jailed. Not one prosecuted. Not one indicted. Crickets! One would think Michigan would have announced such a “catch.”

Happy Tuesday, dear Kruiser Morning Briefing friends. (Snip) Well, it happened again: I had to reset my “Days Since Donald Trump Has Been Indicted” wall counter back to “0” yesterday. This time they’re making sure that they get a huge head start. Chris posted a copy of the indictment here. The Biden DOJ keeps hitting Donald Trump with new indictments, including one that could possibly draw the draw the death penalty. These mounting attacks on the former president have drawn comparisons to a banana republic or third world dictatorship. A new development suggests a different dynamic is in play. Former U.S. Attorney General William Barr was recently asked if he would be willing to testify against Trump. “Of course,” Barr responded. Special Counsel Jack Smith’s case was “challenging,” but Barr does not think it “runs afoul of the First Amendment.” That runs afoul of Bruce Thornton, who makes a strong case that quashing free speech is what

By Biden’s own words, he was careful to keep Hunter’s foreign business deals separate so as not to give the impression of impropriety that could raise questions. But he can’t do that anymore. The amount of damning evidence that has come out has made that impossible, and now, a large majority of Americans believe Joe Biden and his son Hunter broke the law by selling foreign influence. “Fully 63 percent of voters say the president breached the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA), which obliges people to declare foreign interests,

Climate is the description of the long-term pattern of weather in a particular area, according to NASA. We think of Florida or Aruba having a warmer climate, compared to Maine or Canada. Weather is short term, whereas climate is long term. As NASA explains: The difference between weather and climate is a measure of time. Weather is what conditions of the atmosphere are over a short period of time, and climate is how the atmosphere "behaves" over relatively long periods of time. What is meant by “long periods of time”? Given the Earth’s age of around 4.5 billion years, one might think these long periods of time should be in the millions of years.
