NEW YORK (AP) — New York City has agreed to pay more than $13 million to settle a civil rights lawsuit brought on behalf of roughly 1,300 people who were arrested or beaten by police during racial injustice demonstrations that swept through the city during the summer of 2020. If approved by a judge, the settlement, which was filed in Manhattan federal court Wednesday, would be among the most expensive payouts ever awarded in a lawsuit over mass arrests, experts said.

At this rate all these Blue State Cities will run out of their own money and these settlements will come from the Federal Government in the form of, "Too Big To Fail" payouts from taxpayers.

NYC just sent out two important messages. 1) When the city does something you don't agree with, protest it and then claim police brutality. It is worth big bucks. 2) NYC cops are not supported in this city, so find a new place to work.

damning FD-1023 document detailing then-Vice President Joe Biden’s Burisma bribery scheme was made public on Thursday by Sen. Chuck Grassley. The record shows Biden fired a Ukrainian prosecutor tasked with investigating the energy company his son was a board member of in exchange for a total of $10 million. Delaware prosecutors hid the document from IRS investigators who say it would have aided their tax crime probe. The FBI, similarly, stonewalled publicizing the bombshell form, which earned FBI Director Christopher Wray the ire of Grassley and other Republicans focused on exposing Biden family corruption.

Last month, two conservative groups made court filings to oppose Florida’s anti-woke law: The Academic Freedom Alliance (“AFA”) joined the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (“FIRE”) challenging the statute’s constitutionality. The Florida law bans promotion of divisive concepts, based on race or sex, in the educational setting. Its language is similar to President Trump’s Executive Order 13950 which applied to the federal workforce but was withdrawn when Biden took office. Challengers claim that the Florida law chills the free speech rights of professors and therefore violates both the First Amendment and what is called “academic freedom,”

The Biden administration on Friday proposed tightening an efficiency standard for new residential water heaters — a move that it said would both save consumers money and combat climate change. The draft rule would require that, in order to become more efficient, most common-size electric water heaters use heat pump technology and gas-powered heaters use condensing technology. The proposal from the Energy Department would cut 501 million metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions over 30 years, the department said. That’s the equivalent of the emissions of 134 coal-fired power plants in one year. The department also said the standards would
